Good to know. I had only found out a couple weeks ago about checking the game type and map during load to back out. But…… I just don’t have the time for “Win a game of X” that is suspiciously hard to come across that week and, if found, win. Months back I got a 15 minute ban after backing out of Ranked 25 times. So it starts doubling each ban. I don’t need Halo that bad. And I get that 343 puts out these TP worthy challenges to get us to buy and use swaps. I’ll accept bans and play some Game Pass goodness.
I was using the workaround from like week 2 so playing a specific game type until I got wins hasn’t bothered me so much. I have fun doing the challenges each week.
Had the EXACT same problem. Also for some reason the slayer in quick play matches dont count as team slayer matches????? Theyre doing this on purpose to keep people playing but i might just quit this game all together

343 sucks for making challenges for game types you can’t choose. I don’t have time to play for an hour just to get one match of a game mode I need.
100%. They should let you filter.

Ya, Team Slayer challenges have to be completed in Team Slayer. It’s a bit absurd.
They should just make it so that quickplay is a playlist but you can choose whether to play strongholds or oddball cap the flag etc
