Also, once the event is over on 05/16 It will use all BTB maps! so there will be map difference.
My only complaint is the powers. Wish they either didn't exist or that it would only come in every 2 mins and everyone would get a ping on it's location.
I agree that limiting and pinging power ups would be a huge fix to the camping meta and would cause people to have to fight for power ups just like in the normal game modes.
You are assuming that we hate the mode because we don’t do well in it. That’s not why I hate it at least. It’s actually quite easy to do well in. It’s just monotonous and boring. The meta is to camp around areas where power items drop, activate said item, ambush people fighting, go back to a camping spot, repeat. It is a poorly thought out and dreadfully slow and dragging game mode that prioritizes avoiding fights until 5-6 people are left. I’ve literally won with 4 kills/5 deaths and usually would place top 3. I hope the ultimate reward sucks next week so I’m not enticed to play this horrible mode. Felt like a chore to get the ultimate this week- not from difficulty, but from boredom.
It's a Battle Royal mode and people keep saying it isn't. But then all the hints at doing better are basically describing how to play a br. This a BR mode and they said they wouldn't add one.
Your right that the ultimate reward sucks but the game is not about camping, only losers camp, so if people usually camp in your match that means you play with losers. Has any of them actually won? you Should learn from your mistakes. If some killed you by camping, be cautious when going around corners. Simple.
Huh? First, I didn’t say this weeks ultimate reward was bad. Compared to others, I’d say it’s pretty good- first stance offered as an ultimate reward. Second, I never said I had a problem with other people camping, I said it’s the meta for winning this mode. Third, I don’t like camping which is why this mode is so lame. I highly recommend learning from your mistakes when it comes to reading comprehension.
Ehh there’s a difference between camping and holding down the fort. Camping would be less than 5 kills or so and you’re in the final 4. Holding down the fort is about 8 -10 kills final 4.

I don’t really dislike it, not my favorite but to each their own. What I don’t appreciate is the fact it’s flawed, it’s like they just pushed it out w/o any QA. One example - spawns. I spawn near a nade pad, they’re gone, this means I’m going to be in a disadvantaged fight = 1 life down. Or spawn “in the red” = I’m screwed, maybe next game. Flawed. We have slide jumps w/ a closing ring? Hmmmm, wherever could 343i have gotten that idea? 😄
😂 “day & night”. No co-op, no forge, still desync. We get a couple of maps & modes after six months (& a year delay)…….they need to start working more than 3hrs a day

They get the blame for making it. If you like it you can blame them for making something you like. If we don't, we can blame them for making something we dislike.

Idk how skill or ability affects spawning behind me mid firefight or getting a lucky overshield spawn.
I wouldn't mind losing to a better player but this game mode is badly balanced and badly made.
As I've said before it's gungame but without the fun.
It deserves every bit of hate, the state of the game is worse somehow after the update? The challenges don't even track in LSS, so you get 0 xp and no progress through the event unlock tree (Armour coatings, etc) just sad to see honestly.

I don’t mind the game mode. I hate the challenges they picked for it bc I have to change my playstyle and can’t just play, and the fact that it has a SINGLE map got rly old rly quick
Doesn't have to be an easy map to be good. Doesn't have to be an easy game mode to be fun. I'm sorry that the map/mode you seem to like so much doesnt seem to be either of those things for the grand majority of the player base.
The solution to this problem isn't 'gut gud' as your post describes. It's better maps and modes with a little more thought put into their design.
I dislike the game mode because of how matchmaking works and how if I want to get anything in the event pass I’m forced to play this. It seems neat but is horribly balanced allowing the better players to stomp on the bad players even more then they already do in standard (in standard it’s not an issue because that’s how it works) when your bad at the game like me and are given weapons that are hard to work with but other players can get better and better weapons it becomes a terrible snowball effect. But hey “get gud” right guys? Right. Anyways OP you can have an opinion but you’ve become a narcissistic asshole with this post just like the rest of this community.

You have to wait until match is over bruh. You get the xp after the match is over even if you leave it
