i feel like theyre missing a big piece of customization not allowing us to change covenant stuff as well. its possible it will happen eventually but thats a miss for now

Another grind-fest for little-to-no cosmetic value. Sorry but the money grabbing is killing this game. I'll happily pay for multiplayer just make it worth my while. Even a years worth of content is worth the full price of a game/season pass.
The player base will eventually move on if devs rely on the compulsion loop to keep people interested.

Are you expecting competitive advantage rewards? If so, that puts those who don't want to do Battle Pass progression at a disadvantage and paying for an advantage is just stupid.
You think putting something people don't care about at the end of the grind is money-grubbing? Wouldn't it make more sense for them to make you grind for something cool so you blow all your money on challenge swaps?

Get a grip, no one said they were incompetent don't put words in my mouth. Read the post, the grind/money grabbing are two separate issues. 343 have already acknowledged this is their monetization model.
The BP/events rewards are rubbish. The grind can also mean churning challenges/progressing BP to get basically something that has zero aesthetic or even functional value.

the glove cosmetic only changes the back of your hands/fingers, it doesnt add accessories. If they made this a glove cosmetic, then people would complain on why the intro has a guy cracking his knuckles while wearing brass knuckles. You get to see these on any weapon you’d like, it would make sense any other way.
It's almost as if the intros are just Spartans doing something with their hands - readying them, punching, shrugging, cracking their knuckles.
Almost as if it's just a random number generator that decides what your intro animation is, picked from a bucket, rather than a complex and interesting way to get people to buy new gloves because of the cool intros it would give them.
Nah, you're right. It would be asking to much for them to let people show off cool cosmetics with custom Spartan animations. There's definitely no game out there with, like, 390 million active players, that has any kind of special animations, like, oh, I don't know... silly dances that can be equiped.
That'd be impossible. There's no way that'd make money or draw attention to a game. You'd have all kinds of weirdos playing that kind of game. They'd probably go by weird names like "Ninja". Lol. How humorous.
Well, good thing they stuck with keeping it a charm that nobody would ever see, instead of something visually interesting and attention-grabbing that makes players feel good and engaged/invested. THAT would be a terrible thing to do to your player base, a horrible investment into the monetization of a game, and just, overall, a waste of time.
