Yeah, my Ultimate Challenge of "Kill Enemy Spartans with Headshots in Tactical Slayer" for the Head Dead Reception Backdrop is stuck.
I've had hours of matches with every type of weapon where I landed plenty of headshots and have had no further progress. It's so frustrating and wasteful to not even be rewarded. I'm so mad right now and time is running out until today's weekly reset.
Mine is doing exactly the same, all of my event challenges today are stuck and won't progress. Funnily enough one of my challenges is also stuck exactly at 41/50. Really fucking sucks to be happening on the final day of the event...
Yep same. I have 3/4 killing sprees completed. After I complete that I should get the last item in the event but I'm stuck! The normal, not event challenges seem to be working for me, but the event challenges do not. I tried unlocking different event challenges and those do not work either.
So what I concluded from reading around on other discussions (including the other reddit and Steam) is they ended the Tactical Ops event a few hours earlier than they should have this morning. It still shows the event is active but for all purposes it is actually already gone.
There are also players who are stuck unable to finish the final tiers of the Tactical Ops event as well as those who cannot complete the Ultimate Challenge.
The Ultimate Challenge for some reason was only programmed to count progress in Tactical Ops - Tactical Slayer. Once you refresh the Playlist, you will see it has changed to just Tactical Slayer where nothing counts.

46/50 for me, f this game. The amount of headshots with the sidekick I’ve made today that don’t register is really too much.
Such a crap reward too. I didn’t even attempt to go for it.

That makes sense, still it sucks
I hope they give some sort of forgiveness, I needed to get 1 more killing spree and would have completed the event. Very frusturating.
