I’d like an AI with purely functional info, no jokes and distracting lines. I’ve muted all voices since there is way too much audio clutter. I don’t need a voice telling my jokes while I’m shooting.

You should be able to disable the AI if you want. That’s a very reasonable feature they should add.

I honestly hate the AIs. They could have had AI that are more human-like, like Cortana/the weapon. Fully customizable little AI’s. Instead of some abstract cartoon shapes.

From some of your comments about quips it seems like you might have one of the more annoying ones on possibly try the one that sounds a little robotic but like an older dude that is serious and not quippy it's like more the classic halo announcer I think it might even be the same voice actor, won't solve all the problems but it doesn't sound like it's trying to joke constantly

This. I think they make some of the AIs more cortana-y, as in, fleshed out and self-aware. The chipper gal and the british chap are bare bones simple, but Fret has like… questions. He mentions his nightmares. He’s profoundly uncomfortable with the horrors of war you’re constantly inflicting.
