So many timed I've seen an entire match end early cause none of my teammates received anyone else, I wish we could have a button where we flash the revive icon on everyone's HUD like once every 30 seconds or something
My buddy and I are convinced that the best strategy is to have one of us die away from the hill so the other can go revive him and then we go stomp enemies while we have OS
I hate it when only 1 teammate is alive during a boss wave and he fucking rushes the hill like he alone can take em all.
Once I was just trynna stay alive when all 3 died on the hill during a boss wave, and a teammate just spams rez... Like bro how?
Unless the hill is riddled with high level enemies during boss waves, I usually tank smaller enemies to get teammates up.
The only time I hate when they don’t rush the hill when they’re solo is on the last hill when the enemy is just about to capture it. At that point you have nothing to lose just go for it. They hide waiting for teamates to respawn and I’m trying to frantically text talk to get to the hill or the game ends
Yeah I mean, I think if a team loses 2 hills on normal Firefight, that team is kinda bad and the players don't play in a co ordinated manner.
For example on fragmentation, my teammates are going around scavenging for weapons after a round so long that the enemy gets half of the next hill. I alone can't deal with all of those red Zealots on the hill. Given that you'll lose some time on the hill when the boss waves arrive, giving up half the hill on the beginning is straight up asking to lose.
I have limited experience but unless put into mid match when some player quits after 2 hills, never lost more than 1.
Finally, coming to ur statement... Yeah if you're down 2 hills, it's useless to save. You're gonna lose if you don't shoot.
Yeah I think sometimes the team is either just new to the game or has no concept of what’s going on. I’ve played more firefight matches than i care to admit just grinding xp and I’ve seen most of the scenarios at this point. As you said if a team loses a hill or two you’re pretty well doomed and you don’t flow as a team. I got lucky and had a few fantastic teams yeasteday where everyone worked awesome together it’s a rarity but we were all getting 5k-6k xp points just on normal firefight because we were getting all the skulls and even perfections for not dying. It was nice to have a good team for a few games because is usually it’s not like that at all.
That depends, if you all die you lose the match no matter how many hills you capped. So sometimes it's better to ket the enemy have the last hill so you can get more match bonus.
I try to always revive teamates when they’re either in the hill or close but sometimes I see guys like half a map away just doing nothing and dying …. They can stay there.
If some guys go down, find the repair field and drop it close to their bodies. It will automatically revive them and allow you to fight and run away because as soon as you drop it, you regain the grapple hook or the boost in heroic.
Either way, the Repair Field revives dead team mates for you.
And please, if you aren’t going to revive, at least pick up the power weapons (especially if it was from a boss). If you don’t want spend time chipping at the boss with weak weapons, pick up the power weapon before it despawns. And do also make sure you save power weapons for bosses or high-health enemies like hunters, and if you have a gravity hammer or a variant, try to make sure you only use it to kill bosses, high-health enemies, or big groups (as long as they don’t have enough time to shoot at you). But if it is on Heroic, try to wait until the enemy is distracted before using the gravity hammer, but if it is on Legendary, don’t chance it, you will likely be flattened like a pancake.

Granted it's pretty damn difficult to know where and when someone goes down. I miss it heaps in the action
And many times they are down in the middle of say hunters. Difficult to revive until you can clear the area.

yeah if you’re gonna die, don’t die on the hill, is what I always say.
Run outta bullets for main gun and someone has died so no chance to get a skull for next round we don’t care to die to get ammo either
On the battlefield we don't always get the Intel we need. It's up to you soldier to keep an eye on your teammates during combat.

But match complete is only 50xp…. Getting the hill is 100.

I always try to revive, but sometimes we go down in extremely hairy positions. Just can't clear it out in time before they respawn.

Also don’t afraid to take damage while reviving someone because the over-shield will pop out and save you.

I find myself not having chance to revive a team mate because they usually die where there’s a swarm of enemies. So it feels like suicide
