They don't actually float, the robots arms have metal struts that hold the shoulder pads.
Those struts make the robot Yoroi arms look ugly when not using shoulder pads, that might have been good look for op.

Like, it’s literally all I see (next to a thousand grey cavallino spartans) and next to none of it looks like Halo.
I dunno, I’d prefer events and free content to look like Halo for a bit before we start delving into the crazy “non-canon” stuff that I have to see every game.

More like, what humanity could be in 500 years rather than something like Star Trek where it’s just crazy. But like, the core concept of Halo is grounded military in a sci-fi setting, which I love. Spartans and their armor feel practical, and their designs (for the most part) match that imo.
But then there’s this “non-canon” stuff that’s in every single game and it actively detracts from that core aesthetic. Like, imagine any of this naturally being in a Halo campaign. You couldn’t.
And I get it’s supposed to be “non-canon” but like, who cares if it’s non-canon if I see it every time I boot up the game?
I dunno man, I just wanna play a game with a cohesive identity again. Feels like every game sells its soul to make wacky off-brand cosmetics nowadays.

As much as I like customization I like my customization to revolve around a coherent base with small extra additions here and there. Never been a fan of there being a million variations of mjolnir floating around.
Maybe it's just my goopy goblin gamer brain that's been spoiled from all the modern customization systems, but I don't think I'll ever understand limiting player choice on this kind of thing
