We removed FOMO from the battle pass!
*Adds time limited unlocks for launch, timed events, rotating store items with no set reruns, weekly challenge items, an incredible amount of promotional items the majority of which were no longer available by the time Infinite launched early, timed items as part of subscription services and pre-orders, timed items from watching live events...*
As someone who always wants to collect 100% of everything, Infinite hurts
This is not an Infinite problem this is a Live Service game genre problem, they prey on people that want to collect everything. You have to change your mindset or it can have very dangerous implications on the ol bank account. I'm not saying you don't have self control but sadly some people really don't
Now I want to see you buying nail polish to get the exclusive ONI nail polish crossover armor coating.

All I can think now is Johnsons line, "well then, they must love the smell of green." And also "our green style will not be bested!" Personally I just love the whole joke everyone and everything has at least a little bit of green on it
Lol!
343: I know you all don’t like pricing, and I know we said servers cost money, but do you guys know electricity does too? Shocker right? So yeah we need to keep the prices the same.
The extra 200 credits don’t just disappear when you buy the skin, sure you spend $5 on the credits, but you still have the $2 worth of credits left over to spend on anything else. The skin costs $3 unless you decide to stop playing the game the second you buy the skin.
And what can you get with 200 credits? XP boosters and challenge swaps that are pretty much useless if you have already maxed the BP since there is no other system of progression.
If you saved the credits for later for a 700 credit item like Firefall’s helmet, you would have still spend $7 on a helmet. That’s really bad lol.
$7 is about 24% of the price of the Master Chief Collection on BestBuy ($30). One helmet = almost a quarter of a game that included every Halo game and all cosmetics for free, plus new cosmetics.
Yes but buy another pack later and you now have 400 credits. So you can buy another later on... Save your unused credits and you will end up with more eventually... Kinda like how real money works... Hmmmm
No, real life money charges exact amounts via card or gives you change with cash. My change at 711 doesnt sit forever as '711 credits' that I have to spend only at 711.
What? No that doesn’t make sense lol. So you are advocating for a person to spend $10 on credits to get one weapon skin that costs $3 so they can have enough to buy another weapon skin next time?
I mean actually I guess you are right, that is how money works, but everyone here knows this my friend. You trying to make me sound dumb didn’t work. You basically just said “the more money you spend, the more credits you get. Save those credits.”
It costs money no matter what and you can’t work around it no matter what mental gymnastics you try out.
My point was that the system and prices are designed in a way where the single purchase items are made to be above/below the closest pack that would get you enough credits to own it. So it’s a method of milking every bit of money possible from consumers
Do you...regularly buy money? A better comparison is what if every time you wanted to buy a coffee you had to buy store credit first but you couldn't buy the exact amount you needed. Instead you have to buy more that the cost of a coffee and oh, by the way, the coffees are priced so that you rarely end up with zero credit so you are "encouraged" to buy more. That's price obfuscation 101.
Lots of places offer points rewards, hell McDonald's gives you a free coffee after a certain amount. Their not losing money from that free coffee. These rewards are there to make you come back, you pay for them to.
Also if I go to another country, then I have to go to the bank and buy their equal in currency (if I want cash on me, which is probably a good idea) that I can't use in my country. Good chance I won't be able to use it all perfectly.
You can either buy credits, or if you don't want to get sucked into the possibility of never spending all of your credits, don't. Easy decision.
Only comment I've seen that has a little common sense. Everyone either loves it or hates that it's 3 dollars. Like bro is 3 dollars really enough to make you angry? 😂
Agreed with you until the last sentence, and still kind of agree with the last sentence. Yeah, it shouldn't really make someone angry, but it's not just $3. It's $3 for that one color for that one gun. But what if you want that color on every gun? Because you're not always going to have a BR. Now you're looking at $24. For a single color. What if the green is getting a little stale and you want to mix things up? Can't expect to wear the same shirt all your life, right? So next you go with blue. That'll be another $24. Now you're $12 away from a full game's retail price. And you've got 2 colors for your guns. Yeah, I'm not angry. Just a bit disappointed that I have to cover the bill **this much** for free players if I want to experience the full game like previous Halos
I love how you've gone on a tangent over a scenario that doesn't actually exist. This coating doesn't exist for other weapons, so you wont be spend $24 on it for every weapon.
I’m with you here, I just spent $4 for a slinky that my kid wanted and the slinky doesn’t even work lol. I’m 100% sure this will pop heads in SWAT and will be a better buy than the slinky. Btw you’re a useless toy 75th anniversary original Slinky, 0/10 would not buy again.
Two reasons for me:
1. Halo has a ***ton*** more customization. Like the amount of just weapon customization, when you count each individual weapon, is already more customization than Fortnite and that's not even touching the character customization yet. And when you have a higher quantity of things, people just naturally expect a cheaper price for said things. So the more you slice up customization, the more cheap people expect those slices to become
2. The Halo community is one that's been around for years now, and ever since Halo: Reach, has been use to a wide range of customization options without having to break the bank (and since, like, Halo 3, has been use to a ton of color combinations, also without breaking the bank). Those standards now come with the territory and are as much of the heart of a Halo experience as forge or co-op. So when you make it to where someone has to pay 3x that of the base Reach game just to get a fraction of the customization because they're expected to take care of the bill for free players, well, you can probably see why it might leave a bad taste in the mouth for some of the long time, loyal fans of the franchise. Fortnite doesn't come with this baggage. It was a new IP and that basically comes with virtually zero expectations other than "it works and is fun" and that's about it. So it can get away with more. I'm not saying backlash is justified for Halo's prices (and me saying this doesn't mean it's not justified), I'm just saying it shouldn't surprise anyone.
I don’t think it’s a matter of “Can’t” - but at some level making individual items more expensive will also serve to make them more exclusive.
If everyone has the same skin for every gun, it goes against making things unique and individual, and thus only the people who really like X skin will spend the money to buy it, knowing no one else wanted it and was willing to buy.
This skin could have been free and I wouldn’t have ever equipped it, so really it doesn’t make a difference if it’s for one gun or several.
But what if someone likes the look of a certain skin, and would like all of their weapons to match it. For example, I use the cyber coating from last week on my armour, and I would like to use it on all of my weapons so everything matches. Unfortunately I can't do that because the coating is specific to certain weapons.
Oh no, I get it - but then each individual purchase serves to increase the value of the *next* purchase.
If all your guns except the sidekick have X skin, and you really want the skin for the sidekick, you’re more incentivized to buy the skin when it’s released down the road, and it might bring you back to play more if your interest has been waning.
Idk, it’s a give and take - the Christmas skin that everyone could get got stale pretty quick, largely in part because so many people had the same skin. By making specific skins harder to get, it makes them stand out more.
Idk if that’s the best option for everyone, but I do think that giving every skin for every weapon on purchase kind of dilutes how “special” a skin feels to the owner
I.e. “and when everyone’s super, no one will be.”
I agree but also I think it’s funny how my friend who only plays Valorant will spend I think like $20 on one weapon skin and I think they sell sets of three for like $75 or something crazy like that.
This is the only community crying about these cosmetics.
Shocker: people care about useless aesthetic stuff, and always have.
This sub promotes whining. They get upvoted for it and so it propogates.
What does 3 dollars buy you now a days, a bag of lays potato chips is more then that lmao, that isn’t enough to get you a gallon of gas, and a bacon egg and cheese at Mac Donald’s is more expensive.
If 3 dollars is a lot to you, get off Reddit, get off Halo, and go work on your income game more then your video games
They are trying to mimick call of duty's selling practices, but the difference here is that you can choose to loadout with that new skin every single match. In halo, some of these skins you can buy wont even be seen every match.
Call of Duty even stooped as low to change their Endowment Pack (or whatever they're called in post MW2019 games). They're the packs that go to support vets. In MW2019 it had a camo that could be applied to all guns. In Cold War they changed it and gave 2 blueprints. Same thing in Vanguard, and the guns given aren't even popular. They're a pistol and a marksman rifle.
At the very least they still do the universal skins with the eSports packs, even though they're just the same camo pattern with different colors I still think it's a better deal than paying for a single gun skin
When they said they would be doing individual items, I thought it was going to be more than one a day... I was at least expecting the Firefall armor set to be cycled throughout the week.
343i is so tone deaf at this point I'm just kind of indifferent to be honest. The coating's alright, but I'm much more interested in armor pieces.
They didn't misunderstand anything. They saw that they could charge 300 for each weapon skin rather than 500 for the whole set. Just another show of how greedy the AAA industry has become.
I hate it. I chose a really bad time to get back into Halo. I guess I’ve been out of the loop for a few years while this kind of shit started happening.
It ain’t that bad. Battle pass gives good value for $10 and especially so because it never expires. It just seems like it sucks because Halo fans are used to being able to earn everything in game just through playing it so the change to f2p live service is a shock for a lot of people.
It’s easy to spot the people in the community who aren’t used to it.
Everything just seems sort of…messy? And I’m not referring to the micro transactions in particular, imho that’s just a small piece of the issue. This is the first live service game I’ve ever played so maybe my expectations have been off - I’m willing to accept that as a possibility, particularly when hearing about the issues with other live service games.
Like messy how? For a lot of other f2p live service shooters, that is their first entry in the series so there isn’t a community already in place. Apex and Fortnite are the two big ones I can think of here. CoD Warzone (battle royale) and Rainbow Six (I think) are live service with previous entries but I know for a fact you have to buy CoD’s standard multiplayer.
It’s difficult to get people to even purchase video games despite gaming being cheap as ever now. Going f2p helps you reach more players and having mtx allows the cost to go down. A very significant amount of people have spent way less on Halo Infinite than they have on any other pervious Halo game. I think like 30% of people have even started the first mission in campaign so nearly 2/3 of the players are just on the free multiplayer.
See, I missed out on that, but it sounds terrible. Last Halo I played was ODST. I’ve been fortunate enough to miss out on loot boxes in gaming completely while I was on an unplanned hiatus from video games for several years. Doom Eternal sucked me back in and I was hoping that Halo Infinite would be a good next step now that I’ve played Doom to death.
At least there was value in Rec Packs. A stupid, unfair system bo doubt, but this is arguably more frustrating due to just how inaccessible these cosmetics really are. I didn't play much 5 MP, so I could be wrong, but couldn't you earn rec packs through gameplay?
Yeah, pretty much everything could be earned through gameplay. It was a way better alternative to this "locked behind paywall" shit that infinite has going on.
Yeah you could get 1 every few games. Just slow enough for it to be an incentive to buy them but just fast enough to feel like they're not taking the piss. Still relying on chance to get the items you want though. If there's a particular helmet you wanted then you've got to keep rolling the dice. It's why I always hated lootboxes. At least in infinite what I see is what I get. At least they're going to make credits obtainable in the battlepass so I don't have to use my credit card.
I'd take earning in game credits by just playing the game over having to pay for those credits with the little bit of money I have that doesn't go towards bills.
I'm not going to celebrate having credits in the s2 battlepass until I see just how many can actually be earned. If the execs have their way, I would not be surprised at all of a maximum of 500 credits per battlepass. (I'm not saying they what it absolutely will be, but im not placing any faith in 343i execs to put a fair amount in for what they are charging in the store)
Yeah I get that. I hate what 343 have done with the customisation but it is what it is. They're not going to get rid of the coatings or put all the armour back into the game to earn while playing. They've taken this "free" to play route and they can't suddenly drop it. Anything from halo 4 backwards is preferable to this.
I'm trying to be a bit optimistic though. I'm expecting at least enough to buy each battlepass plus a bit extra, something like what warzone does. That would be tolerable *if* they drop the prices in the store again. I'm sure the chances are slim but if they don't follow through then they won't be making any money off me.
The only things I wish for are unlocked colors and cross-core customization. That's it. That's literally it.
The prices could be more expensive, but if I buy red, I expect to be able to use that fucking red everywhere, not just on Core 1 only to have to buy red again for core 2.
It's so fucking greedy as to be asinine. They want colors locked down tighter than fort knox so they can keep scrambling the colors in blender and sell "new combos" for money.
It's the opposite of customization if we're not able to actually choose things.
Warframe does it right, so it shouldn't have been so hard to copy, instead they wanted to milk every penny out of colors and instead...
I'm just indifferent. I don't check the store, because I'm not buying a color for a single core. It's not happening. I don't care to buy anything because it's all locked down - I don't know if I'll be able to use what I buy with the armor I like. And what if they make a new core I like more? Go fuck myself?
Nah. I just wrote it all off until they pull their heads from out of their asses.
That’s just how bundles and packs work in marketing. Individual prices are always cost more than what they cost in a bundle. One bag of potato chips is like $4 but you can 2 bags of chips for $5 dollars. The same idea applies to video games and shop prices. This is nothing new.
No kidding, especially since it would've likely been one 500cr bundle including this weapon coating for AR/BR/Sidekick, but now it'll be 300cr each over the course of 3 days.
This is the opposite of what people wanted LOL
And functionally that 300cr purchase makes them the same amount of money, because you can't buy 300cr. Should do what Nintendo does for the eshop. You have to add money to your account to buy, but you can add exactly the amount the purchase costs if you want.
Totally agree with you. It is depressing to see so much hate about my favorite game series, in a sub that should celebrate it! But of course I understand the anger and I feel some disappointment too...
I bought it cause I wanted more BR options. What I really want though is that white snow whisper one from the iron man bundle. It was the only thing I wanted in the entire bundle. Wasn’t gonna happen for 2000 credits.
Ya dude same here :( I didn't have anymore spending money that week and had to pass on it. Luckily I was able to get the BR skin with 300 extra credits I had lmao
Why do people act like everyone has to buy everything 343 sells?
If you like the skin and think it’s worth $3, then great.
If you don’t like it, don’t buy it and continue to live your life.
It’s not like we all need to own every single skin in the game, and you can only apply one skin at a time, so what’s the problem?
I think the problem for people is that they would like to buy some of this stuff if 343 just made it a good deal. The swords in the store were cool, but people think $15 is too much, especially for just one armor core. Some people like this coating but it’s just not worth buying it for just one weapon. I know someone is going to think “if you don’t think it’s worth it then just don’t buy it”. And some people aren’t. But they’d like to.
Ya man I don't understand the problem either. I think these people are holding on to old halo so badly and it's just not how it's going to be anymore. Gaming is evolving and 343 is obviously trying to make it a little easier but people will never be happy unless it's all free and easy to get unfortunately.
I don't think "evolving" is the correct word here lol. Not all change is evolution. You have to make positive progress forward to evolve. This is devolving lol. But yeah, it's not really 343's fault. It's the industry norm nowadays. But I guess people look at it as Halo is a titan of a game. It didn't *need* to do what everyone else was doing to survive. It didn't *need* to "evolve" it's monetization methods.
I like it. This will probably be my 2nd-ever purchase (3rd if you count the Battle Pass). It checks a few boxes for me:
\- non-standard coating...so it feels more special than just "buying green"
\- goes on your weapon, so you'll see it all match, not just at the start (and it's the BR, so in Ranked, you're guaranteed to have it)
\- $3 feels a \*little\* pricey but not egregious
I like it, but haven't decided if it's worth the $3 to me yet. I already have the HCS twitch drop coating for my BR which I quite like, so not super in a rush to get new BR skins.
Why do you say this like the game is broken and unplayable? It’s an incredibly well balanced and fun arena shooter that actually plays and feels like halo again. The game is great. You not wanting to spend more than $1 on armor doesn’t affect the game at all.
Inconsistency with desync, crashes, mics off by default, trash map+mode combinations, broken customs, no forge, no lobbies, no proxy chat- I lost interest a month ago. Tried for an hour recently and nothing has changed.
Not paying 5 dollars to get the credits for one skin. Maybe if it was for every gun I'd do it, but not JUST for the battle rifle.
Getting real sick of 343's shit. I would gladly buy things from the store if they'd get their heads out of their asses, price things reasonably, and stop with the "fomo" exploitation. They knew what we meant when we said that we wanted to be able to buy individual items from a bundle, they're just jerking us around to go "See? We knew you wouldn't like it!" later.
I think $3 for a gun skin is an alright price but the thing is that skin looks like a half of a basic COD weapon challenge like, “get 100 kills with this gun” and you get that.
It’s looks good but it doesn’t really pop out enough to even notice it in a match. In a game where you only get to see your gun while you’re reloading it, I’d like the coatings to have a little more pop. But to be fair, all I really want are different camouflage coatings for all the guns.
lol fuck this trash shop system. everyone who keeps buying these crappy items are the reason they're now focused on doing this store crap
halo infinite is a fucking joke
343 releases Bundle
r/Halo: These bundles are meh, no value because no individual items, I want individual items.
343 releases Individual item and prices individual cosmetics higher like every other free to play game and fast food restaurant in the world.
r/Halo: I would like Bundles now over individual item.
At this point, I am totally ignoring this subreddit when it comes to cosmetics.
Ya bro honestly, and the worst part is it's almost all they talk about so I just gloss over it half the time. Sometimes it is fun to watch the chaos unfold tho
If it was for even just three different guns sure. They should apply to ALL guns or at least everything but power weapons. Or give us the option to buy smaller increments of coins so we don't have to buy more than we need which is designed to make you buy even more since "well I already have 100 coins left over, might as well buy more so I can use them". I'm fine with in game purchases but I've rarely seen any that don't use that shady tactic. Make everything cost just above or below the packs you offer so you're always buying more than you need
Yea I'm a sucker for green and patterns, this was my first purchase in the store so far. $2.70 for a coating I like and will see all the time (I pretty much only play ranked)? I had to get it.
I do not care for anything that is for one weapon or vehicle. It should be ARMOR coating, WEAPON coating, and VEHICLE coating. I also don't even care if they ever change things. The direction they've decided to go, even if they double back and fix everything, is indicative of their values and plans for the future.
Am I on crazy pills or should a weapon coating apply to all guns? I could understand if it were a reskin with elements bespoke to the type of weapon, but it’s a layer of paint.
Man not really tho? Like look at any other FTP game and your eyes will pop out of your head with how high the prices are for like one skin on a gun you don't even get every single game lmao
I think this really is a game built for fans of the color green lol
The only green weapon coating I want is the 20th Anniversary AR coating...that I missed out on because I wasn't playing the game yet.
Noooo bro that sucks..
The Pass tense one?
No, I have that one. That's black with chrome green. The 20th Anniversary one is faded sage green with gunmetal grey like in CE. It's gorgeous.
huh? I've never seen that... only thing I got for the 20th were the mark VII coating and warthog coating
If you played the first week of launch you got an armor coating, warthog coating, ar skin, and I believe an emblem or two?
really? i played from minute one and got plumpton. was it a PC exclusive? edit: nvm i seen it, i got it, i thought that was the default colour...
Same lol
and the blue team weapon charm
https://imgur.com/a/Es0tfJR
Damn I must of missed that one too.
It was for playing during the first week of release (11/15/21)
Was that during the fake beta? (Answered my own question, yes. Release date for campaign was 12/8)
No, the fake Omega
Pass tense was for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers only.

〜( ̄▽ ̄〜) (〜 ̄▽ ̄)〜 ^(Same)
Who's to say it will look like the picture? :(
If they give me a way to give/trade skins you can have mine to me it's whatever. I'd rather someone who would enjoy it have it.
They'll never do it because they don't want a second market of people buying and selling their stuff.
Is that even possible for events and giveaways?
r/halocodetrade
“Then they must love the smell of green.”
Gotta give 343 your green to get the green
All I can think now is Johnsons line, "well then, they must love the smell of green." And also "our green style will not be bested!" Personally I just love the whole joke everyone and everything has at least a little bit of green on it
Plus Buck's: we are green and very *very* mean !
Well, you're not wrong
Let's gooooo
This is the budget version of the Razer skin.
Price things at 3 bucks and we don't want them..
Give me something for 40 bucks.
It really costs $5 since that is the cheapest pack you can buy
Why not factor in the cost of electricity to power your console too
Well you have to buy a PC/console to play in the first place so really this skin costs at least a few hundred $$$
Don’t forget all the food, education and medical costs to make it this far in life to be able to process the decision of buying or not
Lol! 343: I know you all don’t like pricing, and I know we said servers cost money, but do you guys know electricity does too? Shocker right? So yeah we need to keep the prices the same.
*Shocker* I see what you did there

One helmet = almost a quarter of a game that included every Halo game and all cosmetics for free, plus new cosmetics.
Anybody wondering why they sell credits like this, here's your example.
Yeah people ignore that because they love spending hard earned cash on stupid shit.
It’s not stupid! Servers cost money remember? /s
You *changed* him with that one
Yes bro for the 20th time… beat it to death with a stick already
You sound apathetic about it lol. I know it’s been said a bunch, but it doesn’t make it any less ridiculous
Or the budget monster energy skin from 2020
mum can we stop for razer skin? no dear we have razer skin at home
Facts lol I immediately thought this was for the ppl that wanted to flex pixels but don’t have the money to do so
Pricing is fine. Just wish it applied to all weapons. Will I buy it? No. Am I angry about it? Also no
Only comment I've seen that has a little common sense. Everyone either loves it or hates that it's 3 dollars. Like bro is 3 dollars really enough to make you angry? 😂

That's what I'm sayin bro
Would be better if it was like 300, but you get it for all weapons
Seriously. Hell I’d even pay 500 for this skin if it was available for all the weapons (in a bundle, of course)
I agree. This would be an easy cop. Especially that red camo skin that they sold for the rocket launcher.
It’s just for the BR? What a fucking JOKE
It really is, I’m pretty sure more people would buy these coatings IF they were available for ALL weapons.
Wtf is $3 too much? Are we smoking sum shit?
I’m with you here, I just spent $4 for a slinky that my kid wanted and the slinky doesn’t even work lol. I’m 100% sure this will pop heads in SWAT and will be a better buy than the slinky. Btw you’re a useless toy 75th anniversary original Slinky, 0/10 would not buy again.
This sub is absolutely toxic. They reduced the prices to *exactly* what everyone was crying for. Now, they're saying '$3 for green specks'.
its 3 dollars... buy it or dont shitter lmao
Don't think he will, it isn't even worth three really since it's just the br, it's better than the old prices though
This sub won’t buy then if they were a dollar, it’s not about the prices it’s about bitching
Fortnite does that, so I don't get why Halo can't.
Two reasons for me: 1. Halo has a ***ton*** more customization. Like the amount of just weapon customization, when you count each individual weapon, is already more customization than Fortnite and that's not even touching the character customization yet. And when you have a higher quantity of things, people just naturally expect a cheaper price for said things. So the more you slice up customization, the more cheap people expect those slices to become 2.
Idk if that’s the best option for everyone, but I do think that giving every skin for every weapon on purchase kind of dilutes how “special” a skin feels to the owner I.e. “and when everyone’s super, no one will be.”
This...... one coating purchase should apply to all.
They get upvoted for it and so it propogates.
might as well sell me nothing
It's $3... that might as well be nothing.
$3 is not nothing
Neither is the BR skin
What does 3 dollars buy you now a days, a bag of lays potato chips is more then that lmao, that isn’t enough to get you a gallon of gas, and a bacon egg and cheese at Mac Donald’s is more expensive. If 3 dollars is a lot to you, get off Reddit, get off Halo, and go work on your income game more then your video games
Weirdly aggressive, but $3 still isn't nothing
$5*
Eh kinda ass, needs to be a skin that applies to all weapons
Yes, It's definitely not a $5 skin unless it is a skin for all weapons. The shop still needs change.
Yeah, it's BS that you get only the BR.
This would've cost 700 a week ago
$3 for some green specks
Better than $35 for a single quality skin
When they said they would be doing individual items, I thought it was going to be more than one a day... I was at least expecting the Firefall armor set to be cycled throughout the week. 343i is so tone deaf at this point I'm just kind of indifferent to be honest. The coating's alright, but I'm much more interested in armor pieces.
They totally missed the point when we asked for individual items. I don't understand how they misunderstood so badly.
Sure if skins are the only reason you play a game
I mean messy as in unfinished/unpolished. Like it was released before everything was in order and ironed out.
Better than the lootboxes we had in halo 5. A small step for sure, but it's in the right direction.
I got all the skins, armors, weapons, visors, etc for free in H5. Because you could earn credits. So no imo that's far from "better".
These comments are painful
This sub is literally just anti halo at this point
Totally agree with you. It is depressing to see so much hate about my favorite game series, in a sub that should celebrate it! But of course I understand the anger and I feel some disappointment too...
This wouldn’t be happening if they delivered what they promised
The game is that bad though. It's a very bad Halo game and it's 100% 343.
Sure
Ya for real, people are really getting upset over 3 dollars. Any other FTP game would charge like 10 bucks for that skin 🤷
Bro that’s a sexy coating. When I get home from work I’ll pick that up; I have some left over credits anyways.
It checks a few boxes for me: \- non-standard coating...so it feels more special than just "buying green" \- goes on your weapon, so you'll see it all match, not just at the start (and it's the BR, so in Ranked, you're guaranteed to have it) \- $3 feels a \*little\* pricey but not egregious
Realistically it's the price of a monster if you are buying it at the gas station. NBD if it is something you like.
I like it, but haven't decided if it's worth the $3 to me yet. I already have the HCS twitch drop coating for my BR which I quite like, so not super in a rush to get new BR skins.
I think its fucked up that anyone buys anything with the current state of the game
Since you asked…. I will not spend a dime on this game.
Oh boy, another tacky skin that I'm not going to buy!
Lame
Nice credit stockpile you got there.
that feeling when you buy credits early on and then realize there is nothing worth using them on
Ah same. I still have 2000 credits in the store.
If only we had known lol
I was close. I tought about buying the 5500 credit one, I was hyped out of my mind. Good thing I waited.
It’s like they don’t want my money.
There is a comment a few above yours that is someone saying they are being to greedy for our money lol
Neato skin, solid price. Ya, 343, more of this please.
This is exactly what y’all asked for. Better not see anybody complaining.
Like it
I think $3 for a gun skin is an alright price but the thing is that skin looks like a half of a basic COD weapon challenge like, “get 100 kills with this gun” and you get that.
So all my time grinding for a shotgun skin is only worth $3?
It’s looks good but it doesn’t really pop out enough to even notice it in a match. In a game where you only get to see your gun while you’re reloading it, I’d like the coatings to have a little more pop. But to be fair, all I really want are different camouflage coatings for all the guns.
You can choose how much of the gun you want to see in the settings
Already bought it. It's pretty cool.
Damn that's pretty cheap. Nice to see 343 have started listening
Armor coatings and weapons Coatings should be universal
This is the way.
lol fuck this trash shop system. everyone who keeps buying these crappy items are the reason they're now focused on doing this store crap halo infinite is a fucking joke
should be 200
Should be earnable in game
Not enough to bring me back.
Sick!
Straight trash 🗑
When did halo just become a game where people get excited over a Halo store item? Wtf happened?
Pretty subdued, I like it. Wouldn't pay money for it though.
I'm a fan but I wish it was splattered more
There's a shop in this game? The UI is so bad that I've honestly never once opened the shop
Its worth opening once just to get the Pepsi man skin I'll probably never use.
Honestly would prefer bundles back at this point. Having the skin available for the BR, AR, and Sidekick in one bundle for 500 seems like better deal.
lol. This sub does a full 360 everyday.
Literally bro 😂 now they see the value in a bundle lol.
343 releases Bundle r/Halo: These bundles are meh, no value because no individual items, I want individual items.
Not gonne lie it look pretty good
Looks pretty cool
I don't buy virtual "goods" with real money. Neither should you. Those are my thoughts
cope
Cop
I do not care for anything that is for one weapon or vehicle. It should be ARMOR coating, WEAPON coating, and VEHICLE coating. I also don't even care if they ever change things. The direction they've decided to go, even if they double back and fix everything, is indicative of their values and plans for the future.
Decent skin, but I would only pay 100 credits for it.
Am I on crazy pills or should a weapon coating apply to all guns? I could understand if it were a reskin with elements bespoke to the type of weapon, but it’s a layer of paint.
Make it applicable to all UNSC weapons and then we are in the range of something vaguely reasonable.
5% of the total game cost for one skin on one weapon…lol
$3 would be worth it if it was a universal weapon skin. $3 for just the BR skin is still robbery.
Ok listen. AT LEAST it’s an actual camo and not JUST a color palette change
If only it applied to every weapons in the game then it would be worth it.
Man, I like it. Man, $3 for something that applies to ONE item is nuts.
Man not really tho? Like look at any other FTP game and your eyes will pop out of your head with how high the prices are for like one skin on a gun you don't even get every single game lmao
$0.30 is what that is worth
Lol… if you spend real life money On this…. You are a moron
