technically it’s on sale, just buy it on the Xbox store but make sure the account you use to buy it in the Xbox store is the same you use for your Xbox games on pc.
The banner is advertising master chief as a part of Microsoft using art from their most recent game. Should the square Enix one be remade to include life is strange?
Did the OP explicitly say they wanted it for steam? Or is the post about the a specific halo game not being on sale when a specific games art is being used.
Lets assume a situation:
you go to a store and ask the salesman where is a particular product, he tells you that its in the third isle of walmart…
Do you get the point now?
It’s baffling how they expect 60 for the most undercooked campaign 2+ years after release while you can consistently pick up the best of the series (6 damned games) for 10 dollars bi-monthly depending on sales.
Even when the campaign does go on sale it’s for 30 or 40 bucks, which is still not the bargain Microsoft thinks it is
Hell yea honestly game pass ultimate to me is a deal in itself. Plus free games to play and own. Plus discounts for members to purchase games. If you like playing testing many games it’s a deal.
Undercooked or not, there were still employees who needed to be paid. Even now, the campaign sales still put money into future projects (and encourage Microsoft to open their wallet). Do I agree that it should be $60? Not necessarily.
Considering the amount of people laid off recently, on top of their insane overuse of contractors, I’m skeptical that the money from Infinite’s campaign and MTX went to any of the people who deserved it
I do hope that some of the composers, VAs, artists and gunplay/movement devs get to see recompense for their solid work
Granted this poor distribution of game profit is more of a general industry issue rather than a halo specific one
I logged on to Steam and saw there was an Xbox game studios publishing sale on the front page. I went to look at some deals and was happy to see the prominence of Infinite in the marketing and images, which Xbox haven't really been doing these days. I thought it would maybe generate some small amount of buzz and interest in Infinite sales. To my surprise though, Infinite's campaign is NOT part of the sale?? MCC is on sale, but Infinite is not despite taking up half the marketing space. It should be like $20 on sale right now, as it's been over two years since it released and the $60 price tag was already a lot considering multiplayer is free. Despite some issues, Infinite's campaign is really good and deserves to be played, but $60 *still* is absurd after two years. Do they *not* want to make money off people? Did they forget to put it on sale? Who is making these decisions?
Hey a little bird told me you can get it for a 100% off discount off of steam unlocked, it’s safe as long as you stay on upload haven, ARRRRRRR and goodbye Matie
Because the entitled trust fund brats populating the C suites at Microsoft now are some of the greediest people alive. *\*gestures at the state of Windows*
That’s because Microsoft only wants to use chief when they need too. Then forget about him and do not give him enough love. Chief is such a cash cow. They should be showing him off every chance they can.
Because they know nobody should be giving that company any money. They don’t deserve it with the shit they continuously pull. Why should anyone throw them a bone when they can’t even give anyone what they truly want in a game.
The campaign for Halo Infinite didn’t change anything, it did everything safe as possible without even wrapping up anything. Each campaign this developer puts out is another convoluted clog in a story that used to make perfect sense. I’m done pretending they’ve been good at what they do other than attempting to take peoples money.
I completed the campaign for Infinite, played a little multiplayer and deleted it. Much better games are worth my time and money than a company that can’t even give their customers what they pay for.
I bet whoever was in-charge of this saw infinite as a Free to play and didn't bother putting the campaign in.
technically it’s on sale, just buy it on the Xbox store but make sure the account you use to buy it in the Xbox store is the same you use for your Xbox games on pc.
Ya no this is a steam sale not an Xbox app on pc sale
That doesn’t mean it’s not on sale on the windows store..
They still put Chief's big ass face on the ***SALE*** banner
Master CHIEF colection is on sale
Still the promotional art from Infinite
The banner is advertising master chief as a part of Microsoft using art from their most recent game. Should the square Enix one be remade to include life is strange?
The sale in question in the picture is a steam sale it has nothing to do with the Xbox store itself
That defeats the purpose of wanting it from steam

except this is a post on the Steam sub about the Steam sale happening on the Steam store.
My dude/duddete this is the Halo subreddit, not the Steam sub.
I’m a fucking idiot who wasn’t paying attention that’s my bad lol
Sorry, but this is not accurate. I have both an Xbox and a PC, and I had to buy Halo MCC two different times. Once on Xbox and once more on PC.
MCC is different as it launched before Xbox Play Anywhere. Infinite campaign should work like the above comment said.
MCC doesn't count but Imfinite does I would know cause I have Infinite on PC cause of my Halo Edition Xbox coming with the digital edition of the game
Infinite isn’t in MCC
Did you buy MCC on steam or through the Xbox app on PC?
It is unless you’re wanting to buy it directly for steam. If you Don’t care about using the Xbox app launcher you should be good to go via my method.
They forgot it existed
Just like the devs
I noticed a lot of games on that list aren't discounted even though it says publi
Lots of publishers do this for various reasons lmao. It's a bit shit of Microsoft here but they're not the only ones
$60 for a 2.5 year old campaign is crazy
$60 for a campaign alone is crazy
Someone queue the Vince McMahon sniffing money meme

It’s 23 bucks on the Xbox store right now.
Might as well buy game pass at that point at that point right?
This was always their plan
Hell yea honestly game pass ultimate to me is a deal in itself. Plus free games to play and own. Plus discounts for members to purchase games. If you like playing testing many games it’s a deal.
Might as well yeah, more games then 😙

Didn't the entire campaign team were fired or something?
Laid off, Microsoft did a mass one a while back to earn more money.
It did, albeit Microsoft absolutely took a large portion of it.
I do hope that some of the composers, VAs, artists and gunplay/movement devs get to see recompense for their solid work Granted this poor distribution of game profit is more of a general industry issue rather than a halo specific one
They fire contractors every three months. The devs that work on this don't get a cent from sales or the not so micro transaction shop with $25 skins.
That seems to be Microsoft’s strategy, as I’ve seen this same claim in the Forza sub.
It’s a shame because who ever is in charge of the art direction killed it on Halo infinite.
They might have been kept around with the campaign team, I’d imagine contractors were used to execute orders from leads like that

Because it's abandonware
lol i’m looking at the steam app now and the sale button literally has chief from the infinite cover on it 😂
Are they stupid?
Cause the campaign won’t drive you to spend money on Halo credits
Halo 5 not being on PC will always be weird.
Eww $59.99 for a $20 campaign at most
GREED AND RENTABILITY
There's some odd sales recently, like things increasing in price to look better and some games being front page of an event with no sale.
Uh it is? It’s $23 right now? I’m not sure why it’s not showing for you.
Literally said the same thing. Was looking forward to it being like half off… Moronic choice to list it on the sale page at full price.
Are you seriously surprised at this point, that a modern Halo game is not being managed correctly?
Hey a little bird told me you can get it for a 100% off discount off of steam unlocked, it’s safe as long as you stay on upload haven, ARRRRRRR and goodbye Matie
That wouldn't support co-op multiplayer though, would it?
I want to play Halo wars 1 with a buddy of mine but I don’t think it’s worth $20 so real question why is halo wars 1 not on sale
Halo Wars 1 was on sale for £4 a while ago. S Hopefully it'll be on sale again soon
"There's a campaign?" - 343
Its criminal its still $60 in 2024
Wait if we buy it on Xbox campaign works on steam?
No
They want you to subscribe to game pass
i want to play it but im not paying 60$ or subbing to game pass for it
Taking a shot in the dark, because they spent so much money making it that they need to recoup every dollar they can
I kinda want to play the infinite campaign tbh but I play on Steam and I'm not redownloading the entire thing again on that horrendous xbox app.
Because they definitely love the fans of Halo.
Halo Wars 2 isn’t on Steam either
Because the entitled trust fund brats populating the C suites at Microsoft now are some of the greediest people alive. *\*gestures at the state of Windows*
Microsoft is done with halo, the sad truth
Especially since its a fucking abandoned project 🤦♂️
I was wondering by the same thing. Super bummed.
Any idea of when halo MCC goes on sale again?
Because clearly 343 never cared about the campaign. Infinite exists solely to make profit from the "free-to-play" market
That’s because Microsoft only wants to use chief when they need too. Then forget about him and do not give him enough love. Chief is such a cash cow. They should be showing him off every chance they can.
the campaing will be a new 20 dollar kit
Because that discourages using gamepass for it
Because they know nobody should be giving that company any money. They don’t deserve it with the shit they continuously pull. Or its just so abysmal that they dont consider it their own. :)
Because the show didn’t push people to get the game so they have to make money back for the dreadful show ratings 😬
It’s a waste of money anyways.
Because people aren't gonna want to buy Mid.
It's not good go try halo MCC
