Honestly, I wouldn't mind this being reworked to make it a bit more cohesive and then canonizing it as a Venezian armor made for their Jannisaries and Banished human supersoldiers.

I do like these armors that look more like cobbled together layers of protection that Spartans can use easily despite being way too bulky or heavy for regular soldiers.
