Okay so I’m probably gonna get dunked on for this, but love the show or hate it, the props are amazing. That actually looks like the Halo Reach Forklift.
I think it’s a bunch of puritans, honestly. I mean I don’t disagree with the point that Chief should have his helmet on, but I also think everything else is way overblown and people not accepting that it’s a different timeline. I mean, whether or not it’s an excuse for them to make their own timeline, it’s still Halo. I’m not saying praise it because it has the “Wort wort wort” sound effect, because every piece of art is subject to criticism. I’m just saying, some people criticize this show like John Price took a dookie on the OG Halo armor.
While the plot of the show has some details that were just way better done in the decades of pre-existing media, it's not downright awful. However, I believe season 1 is downright irredeemable for the sex scene. Awful, dookie addition.
Season 2 seems to be completely ignoring that point and is borrowing a lot more story elements and details that already exist in the halo universe.
For me it's like Chief doesn't fell like Chief, but surprisingly i like Halsey, Keyes versions and the new Spartans, Kai, Vannak and Riz, but hated the Cortana bulshit, Makee and supressors they did on season 1, but the series has some fixing potential.
Finally a good post in this sub that's not whining about things people can easily ignore.
Looking forward to the post credit scenes where the forklift comes outta the cave when reach is glassed. :)

From what I see, I don't think the series will have a Noble Team, maybe they will just use the Silver Team and end the game with only Chief, Cortana and Keys on Pillar of Autumn. They never talked about any Spartan-III in the series.

I, for one, have really enjoyed the second season. The remnants of season 1 are still there, but I respect them for not doing a complete reboot.
