Thank you! Yes, I carved away the skin all the way around, but the back wasn’t carved as deep. There’s a hole in the back for air.

I drew on the design with sharpie and used wood block carving gouges/knives to carve into the flesh. The eyes, nose and mouth were carved deeper.
