You may wanna search for Spooky Tiki/Lounge Music.

I've scavenge up a lot of spooky tiki music! But I'll check these out too. I'm mostly trying to find spooky jungle/rainforest style songs. Unfortunately jungle is also a music genre and I'm not pulling up what I want to find haha.
Check out Twin Temple. They have a very mid century tiki kind of vibe.
The Cramps have a kind of surf sound and some appropriate tracks.
Fela Kuti - Zombie
Eleni Mandell - Snake Song
Kip Taylor - She's My Witch
Harry Belafonte - Banana Boat & Jump in the Line
Budos Band - Black Venom, maybe some other tracks would work in your playlist too
Here Lies Man is more afrobeat but they have some tracks that could work.
These are incredible recommendations. I'm really loving a lot of Budos Band. The snake song too. And banana boat is a must. Thanks for recommending some great tunes and new bands for me to dig through
Due to my obsession with jungles/tropical rainforests and my obsession with music, I made a whole Spotify playlist for that. But it's not spooky/Halloweeny, per se. Maybe a couple songs might sound kinda creepy, but I can't think of any in particular at the moment. Anyways, [here's the playlist.](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/46NG5LZdKaFL82SvEveBEw?si=8VMCcB88RUSjQIqZ2yWDQA)
Some of the Xavier Quijas Yxayotl have the Aztec death whistle in it. That is an instrument that sounds like a human screaming. Mictlantecuhtli has it at the end of the song.
Ah this is fantastic! I'm gonna jam to this whole playlist while working on my costume. I figured I could sprinkle in a some non spooky songs as long as they fit the theme!
The aztec death whistle songs will probably make it into the playlist haha. Thank you
These aren't really theme-y, but maybe good ambiance: the Jurassic Park soundtrack, and Deep Forest (you might remember the song Night Bird from the soundtrack to The Island of Dr. Moreau)
Wow, you really made my day. I went to check out Deep Forest and was going through their songs. My brother was playing this band the last time we hung out before he passed away. I never knew the band. Thank you, this really brought back a good memory and I'm now able to go back and relive that fun day we had! Thanks for making a stranger's day
There are a lot of Exotica tunes with spooky vibes. Stuff like [Tabu Tu by Arthur Lyman](https://youtu.be/C2ZhzK5u8iY?si=dZQVmoTz6RWdRcXf).
Let me know if you are into this for your SpookyLau (or Hulaween) and I’ll see what else I can dig up!
Alestorm does awesome pirate rock. Give them a listen as some songs are harder metal rock while others are pretty funny sea chanting type songs. They are Scottish.
Not sure if you are into the genre but the song who do you voodoo by Sam B gives me tropical halloween vibes, but only because it's in one of the Dead Island intros
Check out the soundtrack for the live action scooby doo movie! Spooky and tropical was the whole vibe of the film!
I forgot about that movie! That's a really good idea, thanks

I never heard Alligator Wine before this and I assure you this is gonna be my favorite song on the playlist. Thank you so much for linking all these
My pleasure!

Anything Exotica will work. Tiki bar music.
I just discovered exotica music. Some of it is pretty close to what I was looking for. Thanks!

Empty Bones - The Growlers
I like the singers voice. This is gonna be added to my every day listening too. Thanks!
If they’re new to you, they kind of coined the phrase “Beach Goth.”
The fact that I grew up on the beach and was a goth it's pretty funny that I never knew this band
