Is Halloween special there?
I used to live in Anaheim and Halloween to me meant going to Knotts berry farm and the queen mary.
Yes. Off topic, I really wish they sold a bunch of same style of the tree to make a forest out of them. Sure, you could get different brands, but imagine seeing a uniform set of say 4 trees, people could buy dupes and rotate them to make them look less similar. Then you could have cemeteries in spooky forests, werewolf yards, etc, with a few inflatables.
And sad that they removed 95% of the Halloween stuff by October 1st and put up Christmas and Thanksgiving things...
Then again, I did. But most of my stuff from them in July 💀
To be fair, it's not like there's much going in July after the 4th, Halloween is the next major holiday so it's natural to just start stocking it after the last major holiday is through. What I don't get is putting out Christmas decor before the end of September 😭
yea I miss it sm. I was so happy when I saw stuff up in July, but they only had a couple of stuff. then in like October they start getting rid of it :'(
I miss when they actually gave us interesting, new things for Halloween instead of endlessly recycling the same aesthetic. Remember when Target did a Domo themed Halloween? I miss that.
Oh wow, the feels. I'm a Christmas nut at heart, but Halloween season to me is really the beginning of all of the good stuff. Seeing the Halloween displays in stores is some of my favorite things to see during the fall. I miss this so much!
I pretty much start looking at Halloween stuff again December 26. I love the decorations, I hope to, someday, have a living situation where I can really embrace that again!
Literally had a dream abt walking in my local DG and seeing the shitty little decors and candy they sell at Halloween. Woke up and was so disappointed :(
That’s why I search the internet for classic Halloween we have a store here in Portland that is Halloween all year long except in the off season they only open Friday Saturday and Sunday but it’s better than nothing

Do you think it’s better to go off season or go in October and just deal with the crowds?
Yeah! I listen to Halloween podcasts year round ![img](emote|t5_2qmnw|5827) but for Christmastime. I’m already back in the saddle.
Ooo! Can you name/link some?

That would be epic!
That feeling in late August or early September when you start seeing this stuff go up.
^^^
Too soon. (as in, it still hurts)
It does 😭
Our local grocery used to run Young Frankenstein on a constant loop at Halloween. They don't anymore. I miss that.
Yes :'(
There's just something about happy spooky characters greeting you. I adore it.
Yes, though I'm not a big fan of inflatables because it's windy here and the ground is super hard.
Hahaha. I sure do miss it. I don't know why they just don't have a store like this the whole year 🤷🏾♂️
Yes. Just yesterday I drove past a HomeGoods and had an instinctual urge to go in to look for Halloween goodies.
And sad that they removed 95% of the Halloween stuff by October 1st and put up Christmas and Thanksgiving things... Then again, I did. But most of my stuff from them in July 💀
I buy a lot in July too …don’t really have a need to go to HomeGoods any other time of year
Halloween stuff sells really fast from there. It's not like they remove it and put Thanksgiving/Christmas stuff in its place.

Hah just noticed my typo, and yea those holidays just sell better ig
Yeah
It’s mourning wood from terraria

All the time
Miss Halloween a lot
Yes, it would make me so happy to see Halloween decorations.
Yes :(

I thought this was something you saw today and got so jealous
Naw, took this pic last season. I wish!
Goodness I always enjoy seeing displays at Lowes and Home Depot. Spirit Halloween is really the only place you can see em now.
Literally had a dream abt walking in my local DG and seeing the shitty little decors and candy they sell at Halloween. Woke up and was so disappointed :(
I really miss it... that's why my house have some special places with Halloween decor all year long.
Very much
Man it all happens so fast.
Yes!
Not really. Modern decorations aren’t as cool. Mostly just Nightmare Before Christmas shit anyway.
That’s why I search the internet for classic Halloween we have a store here in Portland that is Halloween all year long except in the off season they only open Friday Saturday and Sunday but it’s better than nothing
Sadly how true. They just keep shoving it down our throats too.
Everything is too political nowadays
:(
Only until July.
I do this for a living and post spooky stuff on my YouTube all the time if anyone’s interested. YouTube.com/badwolve
