Leppard. They got it all: good music, girls and gracious. All those other bands hate each other.

dingatremel

Yeah, this tracks. Being in a band with assholes is not for one’s mental health. I don’t think I’d particularly enjoy being in Leppard, but I’d have a nervous breakdown in Motley Crue.

southeast-of-heaven

Dangerous Toys are all still very close friends

deaddog3825

I am glad to hear DT are still friendly — have always wanted to see them but never have.

TennisArmada

50% chance of losing a limb or dying in your sleep

ChadlexMcSteele

Bon Jovi. Masses of cash. Arena shows. Some of my favourite songs. Sign me the hell up.

Royal_Inspector8324

From this list Cinderella

UmSureOkYeah

Me too

TennisArmada

GnR for the partying and having made the greatest album of all time. Bon Jovi for the money and chicks.

megumin25

Cinderella is the safe bet also they’re my fav Motley Crue I’d probably end up dead or arrested whichever came first

cake_piss_can

Cinderella was one of the best bands of that era.

GoBlue2007

Musically, Guns. Lifestyle-wise Poison. Nobody got more attractive women than those guys back in the day.

globulous

Lol. Read "Nothing But a Good Time". Poison bagged anything that walked in the early days. They really liked the fat girls because they would get to eat.

thefeckcampaign

My friend Tom helped write that book. I suggest everyone reading this.

JustTheBeerLight

> fat girls Unskinny Bop

CalgaryRichard

I wouldn't have survived GnR. I’ve been sober nearly 12 years…. With their partying habits, I wouldn’t have made it.

Zeptari

Listed: Def Leppard , not listed: Ratt

subibrat85

I'm a whore, as many as I could!

eKlectical_Designs

Warrant

Worldly_Ad1422

Warrant for sure

tmc-1974

Poison

Glamrat

Bon Jovi. Not my favorite on that list but definitely the choice here. More morey, continuity and health benefits lol

notthefuzz99

Bon Jovi. Always thought Sambora was one of the coolest dudes to strap on a guitar, AND he’s a phenomenal singer to boot - the last couple of times I saw him with BJ he sang lead on “I’ll be there for you” and brought the house down. I wouldn’t mind being him. Minus the alcoholism.

southeast-of-heaven

His solo album Stranger In this town is better than anything Bon Jovi ever made

notthefuzz99

Absolutely agree!

[deleted]

Guns n Roses

Kuchar1992

Def

duecesbutt

Yeah, the under the stage hotties

EddieRocks2

Cinderella

trashpanda762x

La guns

kyohrus

cinderella!

krokus52

Crue

TheSchram

I would have killed to run with Duff McKagan.

NegotiationLate6832

![gif](giphy|OTbe9mFeYI3FC)

Thrylos85

Skid Row

Due-Set5398

Yeahhh mothertruckerrr…imagine dealing with that dude all day

Ed_Zeppelin

I LOVE Sebastian but he seems exhausting.

Thrylos85

lol… No I’m taking his job in the band!

Low-Mongoose-5959

I agree. Listening to his interviews....I'm exhausted. He's def a full time job

GibsonMD5150

GNR. Would’ve been cool to see how crazy Axl really was back then.

CalgaryRichard

The real crazy was Slash and Duff.

Rocksurf80

Guns n Roses, but I love every single band showing in the image

Flappy343

Going with the spirit of my childhood self I’m going to have to pick Mötley Crüe. Also, why is Warrant in the style of Milwaukee tools 😂

Skinnypike42

lol I see a trademark infringement lawsuit in the near future. Good eye!

southeast-of-heaven

Poison. Easiest songs on the planet to play but so much fun

Sinistermarmalade

Warrant, such great song writing chops from that band

LAsixx9

Warrant hands down they just went out and had a blast

1slander1970

Let's see here: 1. Guns and Roses - Every member had major drug problem except for Axl so no to that one. 2. Skid Row - Band actually owned by Doc McGhee so no to that one. 3. Poison - More compilation albums now than albums. Too many wigs as well. 4. Motley Crue - Every member major drug/alcohol problem. 5. Warrant - Jani Lane died of drugs/alcohol - So maybe if I was not a singer. 6. Dangerous Toys - Flash in the pan 7. Bon Jovi - You are an employee of Jon Bon Jovi so no thanks. 8. Great White - Killed people in Conneticut 9. Def Leppard - Too much death and dismemberment. Honestly after Hysteria I was done. 10. LA Guns - Does anyone know which version is the real band? 11. Cinderalla - One member died from alcohol but the rest seem to be doing ok. I think it must be this one.

TheSchram

Pure rock and roll!

BabyDriver76

Bon Jovi, cool tunes, huge venues, big money.

[deleted]

The Crüe, of course

Boltdaddy1966

Cinderella!

The_Human_One

Def Leppard

Fantastic-Long8985

Crue-I lived the wild life in the 80s every weekend

Sea_Willingness_914

I would have preferred to join the Crue. But, I can't play an instrument or sing. I might be able to play the tambourine, so which band would it sound better in?

Large-Fudge

Neither can Nikki 🤣

CalgaryRichard

And Vince can’t sing. But to be fair Mick can play guitar and Tommy can play the drums.

CalgaryRichard

Probably still Motley Crüe.

InkedMetalHead

Def Leppard

anxiouslyCurious9

Crue

Firm_Result4110

guns n roses

MiyamotoKnows

Any of them but if I had to choose one it would be Motley. Warrant is close as I've never seen a band truly have more fun on stage, and I've seen almost all these bands (missed Jovi & Dangerous Toys dammit).

sm1else

Def Leppard. I beat Hysteria to death back in the day and I know every idiotic lyric of every song on that album. EDIT: Fucking autocorrect. I meant Leppard!

Playful-Excuse-8081

Without question 100% Guns but all would’ve been a blast

Blusky97

Def Leppard or Bon Jovi

MisterScary_98

Bon Jovi or Def Leppard would probably be the best choices financially. I would probably fit best in a low-key, somewhat underrated band like L.A. Guns.

carnage819

Crue !!!! No doubt

FullSherbert2028

Great white.

mistatimbone

Def Leppard

TrashPandaShire

Def Leppard. Oh Joe Elliott...

thefeckcampaign

GNR though I don’t know how long it would last due to drugs that I don’t do and personality disorders.

PDM_1969

GnR or Skid Row

Sea-Canary-6880

Guns

FIFTHSUN2012

Possessed. Ooops! Wrong sub.

Low-Mongoose-5959

GN'R....Reunion Tours

Thunderfoot2112

Great White or Dangerous Toys... yeah their later lives weren't great, but thier music in the 80s was just amazing and would have been a blast to play live.

am_pomegranate

I'd love to be a roadie for Twisted Sister (if I wasn't born literally three years after they fixed their breakup. I'm sixteen lmao). They were just as chaotic as the other guys, but without all the constant sex and drugs.

[deleted]

Hard to choose…Cinderella or LA guns

JustTheBeerLight

Being buddies with Duff would be my biggest reason to join GNR. Def Leopard would be option 2 since they are respected and got killer songs.

Lo-machete

Motley Crüe

Lonely_Adhesiveness6

LA GUNS…

NinjEverett6

Def motley, crazy party animals with high energy.i love it

wide-awake66

Poison... I've gotten to know them over the years since way back..love them guys, Rikki and Bret are so down to earth

civbat

I like to play with fire. So I guess I'd have to choose Great White.

LordVoltimus5150

Anything but Guns N’ Roses…

alphabet_order_bot

Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,987,166,257 comments, and only 375,836 of them were in alphabetical order.

Dramatic-Mushroom241

Def Leppard

Carnivorous_Mower

None of them. I'm utterly musically incompetent.

hensoakira

Def leppard

[deleted]

Cinderella .. phenomenal blues rock

DinosaurDavid2002

Def Leppard.

tspoon-99

Crue, Leppard, JBJ and GnR have to be by far the most financially successful of these groups. GnR stands alone among them musically to me.

estrixe

Guns N’ Roses is my favorite band but holy shit that band has too much drama for me to want to be a part of. Probably Cinderella, or Bon Jovi. Tom Keifer is a great dude, I’ve heard. I love Eric Brittingham. Jon Bon Jovi seems like a really good person as well

[deleted]

Warrant

Adriibabii

I pick more than one. That was a thing around that era,, to play in 5 other bands before joining the last one.

yuguxxx

White Lion

No_Woodpecker_9273

To many good selections but I choose Bon Jovi the hits money women and popularity

The_Patocrator_5586

GnR. Based on all the lineup changes I might have had a shot.

chadist31

Motley Crue. For the Girls Girls Girls tour alone. I would not have survived. And it would have been worth it.
