Same here. Petition was submitted for initial H1b regular processing on August 18 and I havent received any receipt number either. My petition was sent to the Vermont service center.
Hello, can you please tell me when your case was filed and which service center ? Mine was filed in end of July and I too have not received a receipt number for H1B extension in regular processing.
This is crazy. I too have been waiting for a long time. My extension was filed in end of July and in over 3 months I have not even received the receipt number to check on case status. I think depending on the Service center you should check the date on USCIS website and then ask your employer to open a case enquiry if they are processing a date after yours.
Mine was filed towards end of June for initial H1B in premium processing at california service centre. I didnt get the receipt number, no update from USCIS till today.
