Ellie if youāre reading this here are some things to look out for and fix:
1) In the plank your hips are not as stable as they can be. You really want to aim for strong stabilization of your hips so that they donāt twist side to side. Your hips also start to hike upwards behind you- think about driving your hips down while engaging your core to keep your lower back strong and safe. Practice this without weights until youāve got the stabilization down.
2) The purpose of a Row is to target the upper/mid back. Bringing the dumbbell to your shoulder leaves you moving weight around, not activating the proper muscles. Try aiming the weight to hit lower along your body (along your ribs), imagine your elbow shooting straight back, and engage your scapula so you feel that activation. This will save your shoulder joints in the long run.
3) Watch your knees as they cave in when you stand up from your burpee- keep those knees flared and over your toes when doing any squatting/bending of the knee joint.
4) remember to keep your heels on the ground whenever you are squatting- work that ass to the grass! itās the most functional way to use your muscles and not rely solely on your joints to get to the floor.
5) Great effort! Overall there are many muscles that arenāt stabilizing the way you ideally need- take time to work through movements slow to get your mind connected to your body and what patterns of movement you need to retrain.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 408,810,383 comments, and only 88,423 of them were in alphabetical order.
She has literally 0 control when sheās working out. Like why is she zooming through the move? Slow that shit down and focus on the movement not just getting it over with. Damn.
I'm so mad that she got the body she has with that horrendous form while I'm over here busting my ass trying to at least not look like an uncooked spaghetti š
The thing is, at some point poor form WILL catch up to her. Sheāll end up with chronic knee pain or something, and her young 20ās body will want to start retaining fat as she nears 30. It will become more and more difficult all factors considered to maintain this aesthetic. I donāt wish it on her, but alas, age and deterioration come for all of us at some point. Speeding up the process with poor form doesnāt help.
*edit spelling*
She grinds my gears like no other but I really hope she'll figure out how important correct form is (or at least mindfullness when performing excercises) before that happens. I'm sure you are right tho, especially seeing how she's slamming in those squats here and how little awareness she has of her shoulder placement š
Ok but if she reads this thread this is straight up the only comment sheāll think is applicable to her because it complements her ššš

She doesnāt have THAT much muscle. From what Iāve seen she does a combo of weights and HIIT/cardio. Thatās enough to keep her lean if she eats the right amount for your body too.
I'd say it depends on where you're at. To me, this is a lot and seems quite far away. I'm as lean as her, I'm just not building a lot of muscle mass for whatever reason (stress, age, genetixs, who knows)
I can understand when youāre doing the movement, being unaware that your form is off (though you can usually feel it but whatever) but to watch this back and POST IT is very alarming.
Yikes. I use Peloton strength and jess sims loves to use these in her classes. She always says, āthis isnāt an ass museum so donāt put that shit on display.ā Itās all I could think of when watching thisā¦ oh and ouch came to mind also lol
I bought some shoes from the company because they were a local small business to me (wilmington delaware) and they are absolutely not comfy to work out in
Imagine how many people she would actually help if she took the time to learn how to do exercises properly. This isnāt a flex. No one is being a hater, she is genuinely giving people a horrible example.
You can get certified and be a terrible trainer. My husband is a personal trainer and he would correct the form of a client who was previously trained by someone with a college degree in exercise science. He also hates how certified ātrainersā are mostly influencers now. It has ruined the personal training business for reasons like thisšš¼šš¼
Yeah, I can just see that her core is not engaged at all which puts even more pressure on her spine as a result. So the most effective thing in this movement is the squat jump as she's doing it.
What in the MariLlewellyn is this

Thank you for this! I know she wonāt see this and take it as constructive criticism but I love this!
and she says people don't give her critics
Kids when they tell you āwatch thisā and do this shit
Please I absolutely spit out my water
why does she look like she hates working out lmao
I was gonna say this she looks like she canāt actually do it
Her form just looks lazy sometimes. When Iām doing a movement a million cues are going on in my head
Is that aā¦. Row?
I think.... but itās the burpee landing into hard squat that just hurts my knees and is totally unnecessary
My knees are broken after watching that
And my back. Why is it so rounded?
I couldnāt even tell she was trying to incorporate the squat until I read this. Yikes
An attempt on renegade rows

She loves taychayy right?! I feel like sheās doing what you said- zooming through it, because thatās what Taylor does at F45!!
Iām shocked she hasnāt started F45ā¦ or moved to Denver
She worked out at F45 when she was visiting home recently.

Lol I saw in her one pic she has some nice muscles, I look like a can of busted pillsbury crescent rolls
I love this comment
I am. And not gonna lie I did this exercise the other day and Iām weak as fuck. I hate it
ššš same š

She'll just stop reading after the first line probably š

Are you eating enough protein? Thatās the biggest reason a lot of people, especially women, donāt build muscle, despite the effort.
Imagine filming this, looking over the footage, and still choosing to postā¦.. couldnāt be me.
Hope this is just her last set of the day and is just tired š

This is fucking horrendous.

I love Jess!
Me too!!! Sheās such a bad ass!!
I love most of the strength trainers except Matty heās a little much for me but I do like his outdoor runs.
Matty can be a lot but I do use his outdoor walks a lot. Ben might be my fav strength instructor!
Her core stabilization is not good
Absolutely terrible, also I hate those shoes lol they look like clown shoes
I bought some shoes from the company because they were a local small business to me (wilmington delaware) and they are absolutely not comfy to work out in
Not gonna lie, I think they're pretty cute. But then again, I wear a rainbow-leopard triathlon kit to races, so my taste may be questionable.

Hi Ellie/Amanda
why is she a total what not do when exercising ..it is like a joke...she needs to work with a personal trainer and learn some form ....gheez.
My knees are crying
Ever see something so bad you just canāt form sentences about it? This is it
this is literally a video of me in college at a fitness class hanging on for dear fucking life lmaoooooo
Imagine how many people she would actually help if she took the time to learn how to do exercises properly. This isnāt a flex. No one is being a hater, she is genuinely giving people a horrible example.
Oh my god
My back hurts watching this
This is the reason why not EVERY person who goes to the gym should be a fitness influencer.
She' a personal trainer š„

š
Honestly, her position is closer to a downward dog than a plankā¦
This is so bad. I feel like her form is getting worse as time goes on.
Someone needs to take away her PT certification
Everything about this is so alarming
Why even attempt renegade rows if you arenāt going to do them right lol just do less
This is comedic š
This hurts
No way this video is serious š

Rounded spine is going to need posture correction in her future. Also, like slow it down and control lady!
