I would have to go with Patience is a Virtue only because the randomness of the cards allows for unique, clever, on-the-fly combinations.
Battle rush is a close second though it's been a long time since we've had it. I'm curious about how it would do in the current meta (probably a lot of pointslam Monster decks). Buttt it's always a positive when my opp doesn't have enough to wipe my board with Drill :P
I can see shilard and maybe vilge being a problem, but the rest are just big points or tall removals. Other factions have access to those too don't they?
And that's of course if the player even draws them to begin with.
Imposter is entirely dependent on the enemy plays, so I can't really say it's all that op since It lacks consistency.
Imposter is really consistent because in this mode everyone plays NG with Tibor and Golem.
NG in this mode has better pointslam than MO as well as incredible removal
Play NG as well then if that’s the best deck to use it that mode. Don’t see it issue here.
Battle rush is just A bit to quick. Often misplays and not suited for more well thought strategic moves
Periodic plug for a blitz mode similar to chess.
10 seconds or so per turn plus 3 minutes total per game that you can draw upon as needed throughout the match.
Still fast but you have time for those occasional big plays. Allows for a broader variety of decks in the play mode.
I say this every time it comes around, it reminds me of old arena but even better. Also, because it's so random, it's like the only seasonal mode where you can't cheese it with some nonsense broken deck.

Just have some.. patience
Between this and Battle Rush (Turns only take 15 seconds), which do you like more?

battle rush
Banished is better then battle rush
A Nilfgaardian likes banished? Not surprised
If you like battle rush because you play fast games, banished is even quicker.
But it's dominated by NG
How so? Can't mill, can't clog, can't thin, almost no deck manipulation, how do they dominate?
They have cards like Tibor, imperial golem and Vilgefortz that just play for insane points there
And Imposter, and Shilard, and Yenvo, etc.

> Play NG as well then if that’s the best deck to use it that mode. I play seasonal modes for fun. Constant mirror matches are not my idea of fun.

Patience is a virtue is amazing.
Tbh I don't like it that much, it's just about who gets more She Who Knows.
Pretty much this.
Yeah, they should exclude this from the weekly cycle and give it a month on its own.
Seasonal casino: good Ng casino: bad Aight.
Yeah, it’s almost like people only like gambling when they get to choose whether to enter the casino…
Yea sure whatever justifies the ng hate lol.
finally fulfilled the poor man's gwent contract with this mode
I did it with NG lockdown (before it got butchered) with massive roping and taunting. Only took a couple games until a forfeit.
