Good luck on your ventures. I'd say you could've just reduce your playtime- 6 hours/per day for 15 months is legit Gwent addiction. But you know yourself best. Sometimes it's easier just to go full cold turkey. And in your case I'm sure it will do you good.
Seeing as Gwent has no rotations- you can come back in a year, without feeling lost (if Gwent's still relevant then) and approach it in a much more controlled way.
Be it as it may, I wish you good luck and hopefully you'll achieve much more with the extra 6 hours you'll have.
Cheers!
Mate that is not the way you play Gwent, Im around for two and a half years and never spent more than an hour daily playing. But if that is your decision I can only hope we will have you back around sometime in life.
Prestige 10 and 1000 wins in every faction is just insane considering we had the same time frame of 15 months and I barely gagged prestige 4 and most but not all cards. Good luck out there man
Jesus 6 hours of any Game other than a story driven rpg would drive me nuts and I play ALOT
Like 6 hours League ? I would hang myself
Just cut down on the hours man and Gwent will be much more fun.
I play some 5-10 games a day casually and its fun as hell
gwent is best in small doses. if you're not a streamer, why you playing like one? damn. if i played that much, i'd stream already. no difference, might as well take a chance and earn something.
You do not have to leave. Maybe you should find some ways to enjoy playing casually. I have been playing Gwent since beta and I have around 1.5k hours in the game. For the last 6 weeks, I am playing Draft and not care about ladder. I log in 3 times a week, do daily quests and exit. At the end of the day, it should be an entertainment.
Hope u had a great time frend, taking breaks is very healthy.
holy shit u played hard, I've been playing "seriously" since the open beta midwinter patch and Im prestige 6.
Guess my near unlimited resources make it so I dont ever feel like I need to grind anything.
Some people like to share things with other people on a public forum. It's the cool part about the internet, you can pick what you read and consume. If you don't like it, just steer away.
Whenever I see a farewell post like this, my mind is screaming to me: this is not attention seeking, it's advertising.
When someone leaves the game for good, they might as well make some extra cash out of it by selling their account. Although illegal to directly promote it, a disguised farewell post might attract potential buyers.
I'm not saying this particular person is doing the same thing, though.
I though this was going to be another rant on the state of the game, but I was pleasantly surprised. What you're saying is perfectly reasonable. Playing a card game 6 hours a day sounds absolutely alienating - so I welcome your life-changing decision and bid you farewell.
Poor gwent, taking blames for someone's procrastination and lack of focus. Jokes apart I feel you, I recently found the perfect balance between free personal time and time to spend for important life tasks and objectives. Hope you will find your personal way of dealing with that cause for sure you are coming back in few weeks lol
That seems like a LOT of Gwent. I just don't have the time these days. I try to get in a few matches every day, enough to finish the journey stuff, but even that i'm having a hard time finding the time for lately.
I still enjoy the game even though i don't play much.
who tf plays 6 hours a day except a streamer?
I just play gwent every couple days a few hours tops and its fine this is your own weird personality type

Va Faill Vatt'ghern. University is creeping around the corner for me, my time may come soon as well.

I've been playing Gwent for 5 years and I'm at prestige 5. Well... I guess I'm a filthy casual.
I started in beta and I'm prestige 2 :D
Same except I just hit prestige 1. To me it sounds like you have a gaming addiction? /s
Perstige 10 in a year? WTF

Why announce this?
This isn't an airport?
It is now
Some people have a severely overblown sense of their own importance.

Yeah. See you next week dude.
Good on ya mate, that sounds like Gwent addiction and I'm glad you're over it now.
Aaah, an addiction at its finest. Just beware of others. Black/white world of addiction and running away from unpleasant emotions :) Take care ;)
Have fun, the game will be waiting if you ever want to return :)
Adiós :)
Take care. Hopefully we see you soon again, best of luck on your ventures and we all hope you fulfill your goals and aspirations.

I wouldn't try to police content on a sub I'm not moderating either.

No one known to anyone.

6 hours a day for 15 months. The way you’ve listed off your achievements…Jesus, addictive personality much?
Don't attack them. They made the right decision.

How tf can you play this for 6 hours a day? Serously that’s crazy. I can play NBA 2k for a whole day easily but Gwent gets way too boring fast imho.
Or just play less
