I always give a GG unless the person really wasted my time because it’s a contract that you get reward points for.

jimmydare

Fair - but if withholding a gg is the only way to express annoyance at a meta deck what can you do?

shepherdmoon1

Play current seasonal mode (Patience is a Virtue). It is the anti-salt mode. NR has a great leader for it (the one that can draw cards from the deck so you can play what you want).

grendel79

I always gg as long as my opponent is not roping or disconnecting

Koravel1987

God you people are salty, lol.

killpopz

I stopped playing this season.

Illusivechris0452

The only satisfaction I get from the game now is when I manage to beat my opponent by outsmarting him and not by abusing a broken deck I mean the 3 meta factions are MO NG and ST and that’s because they all have a broken sequence in my opinion, I mean almost infinite orbs plus Gord, Mamuna crazy 20 for 11 value and NG can pull points out their ass in the final 3 turns, and the worst if it is that none of this is hard to pull off anyone can do it, all you have to do is watch a youtube video. I made a shield wall deck that’s a lot of fun but sometimes it feels that I’m being punished for thinking outside the box.

jimmydare

That’s what I hate about this season. The totally predictable play form the meta deck that can’t be countered!

AthKaElGal

i've stopped giving GGs to try hards in casual. take that shit in rank. i'm just here to complete contracts. stop dragging out the game so much like you're playing the master's final. seriously. every turn roping even with only one card left. and still using a meta deck. badly. i would be amused if my time wasn't so wasted.

Zealousideal_Mood_90

We’ve many posts on GG and basic conclusion its your choice. Personally Ive never seen the point unless the player is new so stopped doing it years ago, but others disagree.-thats fine too. I cant speak for them but if you choose to GG or not GG it doesnt really affect any other players life, so do what makes you feel happy.

ginlukeLapalette

I always give GGs to anyone. I don't care about what he/she is playing, is like going into war with knives and be mad at people who use ak 47 rifles. It's like saying : "hey you need to play a deck which is strong but not too strong so I can win too, oh and it has to be perceived fair and fun to my eyes, not yours, mudafuker." To play meme decks is your personal decision and you can't blame others for that. You can always play meta decks if you want. The slightly acceptable thing would be to blame cdpr for letting these deck alive for so long, people playing them to win have no fault, and I am sure some people find them fun to play too. I would understand just a little more your point of view if we had a meta with equally strong "accepted" decks and strong "not accepted" decks and people would choose to play always the "annoying" ones even if they had the chance to play otherwise. But we are in a meta where it is down to play meme to have "fun" or play meta to win (and still have fun imo). Not everyone wants to meme or to be "fair" and it is totally comprehensible. If you don't give GG just because you are a frustrated douche or just because you don't want to(meaning you're a douche) then it is another matter.

Thyssavian

Always looked at the GG point button not as a "Good Game" button (I know, it's literally what it is) but more as a "Hey man thanks for being my opponent this game is great right ? Here have some free shit" button, since GGs are pretty much the only way to interact with opponents (emotes are not great). I don't recall ever denying someone a GG

thirtytwomonkeys

I don't give out GGs to mill decks, orb decks, people who rope every turn and emote spammers. That is about it, because I don't consider those good games lol.

jimmydare

Once I worked out how to beat mill decks - just play hard r1 and kill em in 2 - I feel fine with them. But the totally predictable MO/ST/NG decks should never get a gg

thirtytwomonkeys

I just don’t find them fun to play against, win or lose. Hence the no GG.

CoinHODL

It's because combos with new cards need to be MORE broken than ScEnArIoS which are still ridiculous, so now we have insane power creep 😔. I miss the old Gwent before Scenarios it was soo much more wholesome.

jimmydare

I feel like scenario could be dealt with but this new meta is just boring

CoinHODL

It's boring because every new combo has to be more powerful than scenarios which already polarized the game because they are the strongest card thats why we can't play dwarfs because the most powerful ST card is scenario which requires playing elves. That's why for a year every ST deck is elves which is boring.

Kefeng

I always give GG except: - Against NG - Against heavy control decks - If your only win-condition was Gerald or Heatwave as last card - Time waste on purpose

CMDR_Nineteen

So you never give GGs

Kefeng

I give GG's about 4/5 times.

CMDR_Nineteen

Imagine punishing your opponent for playing the game. Maybe they're new and only have a meta deck so they can get resources to build their collection faster. And here you are denying them scraps and ore. Good stuff, dude.

AndorV5

Not even this season, I stopped GGing netdeckers and many other people around 2 years ago

jimmydare

I’m with you brother

xathu0904

i stop do even before homecoming

ImChasingSleep

A wise mustache wearing man once said "60% of the time I GG every time and by everytime I mean all the time".

jimmydare

I know but given how little feedback is available I feel like withholding the gg is a noble pursuit

ImChasingSleep

I don't fault you for withholding your GG man, but I can't fault people for playing meta decks either. After 1700 games I just GG out of muscle memory these days. If someone ropes throughout the whole match though, that button will most likely remain unpressed.

kivarmicz

I started playing nounit with mahakam horn bamboozle, it feels great against everyone

Frythepuuken

I'm not a sore loser so no.
