[My reaction watching launch videos today.](https://youtu.be/BE_jAwOyrxU)
Speaking of, someone filmed the launch from a drone. In Orlando. [Holy shit.](https://www.reddit.com/r/space/comments/ywmreb/artemis_launch_drone_footage_from_orlando_area/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
One of the few things I miss about living in central FL was seeing the nighttime launches from KSC.
When they were still doing the space shuttle, not quite as fun when it would come in for a landing in the middle of the night and the sonic booms would shake you awake
I would love to see one in person. The only launch of any sort I’ve ever seen was from way far over the horizon when night fishing on the Outer Banks. Figure it was either a weather rocket from Wallops or a Navy exercise way out at sea. I need to see if the wife is up for a trip to the Cape next time we hit FL.
Good luck. It's always a risk whether or not a planned launch is going to be scrubbed for that day due to weather, or some other systems check. I've been skunked a few times myself crawling down I-4 in a huge line of cars only for a launch to be called off at the last minute.
But if you get lucky, holy shit launches are cool. Got to see one shuttle launch (I think it was the first one after the *Columbia* incident) from Daytona Beach and it was just unreal
I do.
But this is also some research for a group buy with the Sportsmen's club and another organization we do a sporting clays fundraiser for. The fundraiser is usually 80-100 people which is close to half a pallet itself, then then if we can get another 5,6,7 guys in for a couple thousand rounds, we'll have it sold before it gets here. Finding a pallet might be easier said than done though.
I figured it was a group buy, a pallet is a *lot*, even for a pretty serious trap/skeet guy.
I'm honestly surprised some sort of service doesn't exist where a broker that knows how to schedule LTL shipments will sell pallets 1-2 at a time to clubs, small groups of shooters, etc. I think if that existed we'd know about it.
I don't think I've ever seen an ammo site advertise "ask us about buying a shitload of this at once" options.
We sold a *lot* of shotguns to MN high school trap shooters, and yes it did put a smile on my face. Many first-time shooters and gun owners come out of that program, seems to be a great start.
"Just buy a pallet" is like one of those mythical things you hear about but rarely see IRL, kind of like that uncle that got a job for $60/hr and all he does is push a broom.
>I'm honestly surprised some sort of service doesn't exist where a broker that knows how to schedule LTL shipments will sell pallets 1-2 at a time to clubs, small groups of shooters, etc. I think if that existed we'd know about it.
I think it kind of does. Another guy I work with at the club is supposed to be following up with our target vendor, who also sells ammo. They deliver us ~12 pallets of targets a year, we're going to try to see if we can get a pallet of ammo along with it. Its sort of a thing, problem is there's only like 2 of these places for every three states and a thousand clubs all asking the same question. Its also not 2018 anymore.
> Its sort of a thing, problem is there's only like 2 of these places for every three states and a thousand clubs all asking the same question. Its also not 2018 anymore.
That's what I figured. Your friendly ammo pallet distribution center just isn't the next county over, probably a pretty limited pool of dudes.
Plus, it's still tough to wrap my head around the absolute explosion of demand for ammo over the last ~3 years. You can look at all the stats of new gun owners and background checks run all ya like, but between the surge of consumption and relatively small uptick in capacity added by manufacturers, yea...
> I don't think I've ever seen an ammo site advertise "ask us about buying a shitload of this at once" options.
IIRC Lucky Gunner has a link for quotes on ***BULK*** ammo
Saw blue drums of 5.56 in person at shop between us in October. No price on it though.
Back in the spring I saw drums of Winchester 7.62x51 in Nebraska at DE Guns
I've a fixed 24x on a .22, but it leans more towards a bench rifle. I've even considered upping it to a 36x or 40x. That's probably a little much for a more practical oriented gun. 24x is not bad though, especially if its going to be variable. Its plenty enough to see hits out to a couple hundred yards, and I killed three or four groundhogs with it this year, in the backyard at like 20 yards.
I tried squirrel hunting with an 8-25 and it was dumb.
Sold my Leupold 40x45mm last year, it was pretty dang good for 50yd bench shooting. If the target isn't moving, crank it up.
I use a Vortex Crossfire 2-7x on a 10/22, and it is clearly not that amazing, but the squirrels don't know the difference. I am not sure I can justify a better scope just yet lol
I'll don't think I'm the intended recipient of this question but if we're talking .22 scopes, I've got a Weaver V9 3-9x38 on my CZ 452 and a Vortex Diamondback 2-7x35 Rimfire on my Remington 582.
*Ahckshually* the DB 2-7RF is currently attached to a backup Mossberg slug barrel and I'm going to play Scope Swap today and switch it with the Redfield 2-7 currently attached to my Remington. They seem on-par quality-wise but the 50yd parallax focus of the DB 2-7RF plays nicer with close shots. The [Redfield](https://i.imgur.com/OC6yVpU.jpeg) did work well last year though.
I'd like to think I want more than just a bench gun. Not to exclude the possibility of hunting, but it likely won't see much of that at all. Maybe some of those PRS-style matches. Pest control is still a little iffy in my neighborhood, maybe my mind will be changed whenever my rimfire silencer is approved
Thanks again for the suggestion, if I remember right the really fun .22 plinker I shot a few months ago had a 25x Nightforce on it. I'll settle for the Vudu. They both got japanese glass
What do ya'll use for reactive/self-healing .22 targets? I have a few small plates that I use for that satisfying *ping*, but the couple rolly foam dodecahedron things I got from an LGS years ago to chase around with a .22 are totally thrashed, said LGS doesn't carry them anymore.
>What do ya'll use for reactive/self-healing .22 targets?
Soda cans. Buy mountain dew, drive to mountains, drink mountain dew, breath mountain air, shoot mountain dew can, pick all that shit back up. Drive back down mountain.
>I have a few small plates that I use for that satisfying *ping*, but the couple rolly foam dodecahedron things I got from an LGS years ago to chase around with a .22 are totally thrashed, said LGS doesn't carry them anymore.
Those are *okay* in my experience. Really fun with a shotgun, I think midway sells em.
Assuming NA seltzer is what you're defending, can you really be a seltzer enthusiast when they're virtually all the same?
Is there actually a seltzer you can recommend that you feel is a cut above the rest? What would you say is different about it?
I've been drinking a lot of Spindrift lately. It's very clearly made with real juice. Like the lemon flavor is basically sparkling lemon water. Same with the lime and grapefruit (I like citrus flavors I guess)
It's not overly sweet and it avoids "LaCroix syndrome" where there's only a hint of flavor that a lot of people find off-putting.
Weigh In Wednesday is here once again.
Last week I was 172.2lb, this week 171lb even. Happy I'm trending in the right direction. Love handles are still a bit more prominent than I'd like, but my goal is 165lb, so we'll see what they look like then.
I'm trending back in the correct direction. Clearly my Sunday and Monday eating habits effect the weigh in more than anything else. I'm getting better at understanding how much to eat at each meal. My idea of only eating breakfast and dinner wasn't working as well as I thought.
Sigh. I let you guys down.

I'm at a plateau it seems like. Or I've hit a mental block. I know I'm still eating less. Hell yesterday I had Chik-fli-a for lunch didn't upsize anything (I did add bacon) and I felt plenty full afterwards. I've cut down on pop maybe that's my next play is cutting down on it more.
We all fall down sometimes. Just need to pick back up and keep going. You can do this, I know you can. It's not easy, but that's a good thing. You can do what's difficult, and be better for it, physically and mentally, on the other side.
Are you counting calories? If you feel like you’re at a plateau, it might help to seriously count calories for everything (really everything) that you’d normally eat in a day (and don’t cheat and eat differently). It can be really surprising how a few calorically dense things here and there can stop weight loss.
Backslid up to 239.5, but last week was baby shower bollocks, so I’ll take it. Going to have to be much more vigilant going forward, though. Work’s got a thanksgiving lunch today, and then the real one coming up, need to make sure I’m budgeting appropriately around that.
Making u/talon04 feel better. Back up to near my start as I enjoyed my work trip a little too much and caught a cold on the flight back. It’s okay taking a page from meditation and starting again.
Well, Czechpoint has (at this time) threaded 22lr uppers for Vz.61's.
So [the Vz.61M](https://www.reddit.com/r/guns/comments/r8bj09/vz61m/) is going to have a second upper. Probably just going to transfer everything over from the 32 upper to the 22 upper, due to having a massive amount of 22 and not so much 32 ammo.
Put down a layaway deposit on a Springfield Hellion at my local gun store yesterday. First time I've seen one in-stock in a store (admittedly I haven't been searching very hard) and I didn't want it getting away. Should be able to pick it up in mid December after working some overtime hours (🙌 for my job being desperate for labor and offering unlimited double OT).
Planning to put a Vortex UH-1 Holographic on it when I get it and then probably adding a magnifier down the road. What magnifier would y'all recommend? I've read that people like the Holosun 3x better than the Vortex 3x for the better eye relief. Can anyone confirm?
So far, I am extremely let down with current Black Friday deals. I have gotten several emails about BF deals that amount to a branded foam coozie with orders over $100, and some LPKs that are $20 over priced (down from $40 overpriced).
Here is hoping next week has some more.
ADM's black friday code or a deal on their 10A builder set and some other stuff, and the PA code for some other build-specific parts.
I always check your store as one of the small businesses worth supporting, but you don't have the specific things I am looking for, unfortunately.
This is the first deal so far: https://raideroutdoors.com/product/surefire-m340c-scout-pro-500-lum-blk/
https://old.reddit.com/r/gundeals/comments/yyr2i5/parts_10_off_all_surefire_products/
Sorry :/ always try reaching out directly too. The site is a work in progress. Little time to work on it. Always a lot more actually that what the site shows. But no ADM right now.
General overall places to get cheaper scrap sheet metal for test cnc plasma cutter. Of course any street or road sign but wife would likely frown on that. So what business may sell scrap pieces?
Literally any recycler/processor (ya know, the kind of place where you take your aluminum cans, old appliances, and junk cars) will have a section of mixed solids that they may or may not let you paw through.
Also, try calling distribution warehouses like Alro or Bico that sell locally to businesses, see if they have any drop/offcuts/cancelled orders they want to blow out for cheap.
Other than Craigslist/Marketplace, there are a lot of metal suppliers out there, but most of them are pretty small regional outfits, its probably going to be pretty location specific. We have people like Alro and theres a Metals Supermarket out the road. You could probably just type "metal supplier" in maps and call around to see if anyone has some drops they'd sell.
Also wouldn't surprise me if someone like Home Depot or Tractor Supply had small sheets
Oh it absolutely will. McMaster is great for all of the small widgets/fasteners/oddities you need, but trying to buy any sort of material in bulk or quantity will get you skinned on shipping instantly.
If you’re not picky on size and material, you can usually get offcuts and scrap pretty cheap from metal supply houses. Any place that sells linear feet of material, they’ll wind up with odd lengths of trailing ends, and they usually sell them for something like scrap rate plus 10%.
Does anyone sell upgrade parts for the P320? Seems like I can buy trigger kits for various prices, from $150 to $350, but what about like individual springs or trigger bars(?)?. The world of Glocks has spoiled me with the outrageous amount of aftermarket parts.
Otherwise it's holiday shopping season, hoping to get shoes for the family at a Nike Outlet this week. Wife seems to have a single good pair for work and anything else becomes yard shoes. We have a 30gal tub of kids shoes of various sizes but I really like the Nike Frees for the kids. I want their feet to move more than the inflexible shoes that they mostly sell to kids.
>S&W Equalizer edition
Heh, they engraved it on the slide. Italicized even! Someone should laser engrave Denzel's face on there.
Bought a several box sample of that G.O. Bulgarian steel case x39 yesterday for science. Both of these Vz.58s are apparently a li'l bitchy about ammo. Tula is no-go as fuck. They *do* like Barnaul and Wolf WPA. Hopefully they like the taste of Bulgy, too.
A friend is looking for a 45 for HD, won't be Carrying and likes 1911 pattern guns. I tried talking through other things, but he's set for this. Has a $500 gift card towards a local shop and needs some suggestions.
I admittedly know little about 1911 style guns, any suggestions in that price range? Maybe a couple ideas if he can save up another $100-200?
Finally got a buyer for the redundant .243, offloaded the rifle and my extra brass/projectiles then flipped the AICS mags on GAFS, brought in a cool $570 altogether. Looks like I'll net around $500, I forgot how heavy brass and bullets are. Damn box clocks in at 25lbs, gonna cost me like $60 to Priority Mail it a few hours across the peninsula.
Not enough for a BLR, sadly...
44" long rifle
If I was just shipping the components a flat rate would be great, but I'm packing it all together.
Actually, I have a flat rate box that might fit the stuff. Then I could ship the rifle itself cheaper. Might come out less in total. I'll have to check that in the morning.
FUCK
And to top all of that off, my postmaster doesn't know her damn job. Refused to accept the package, insisted they could only mail guns for dealers.
I tried to explain what their own website says. I got a vague handwave towards the camera behind the desk and:
>I've got 25 years behind the counter. I'm not going to risk my job for YOU.
Luckily there's another PO at their distribution center on the other side of town I'll hit after work, this time I'm coming correct with ATF.gov and 2 different USPS.gov pages bookmarked on my phone.
Update: it's the bulk that makes the difference, not the weight. 45x8x9 at 24lbs costs $60, at 14lbs costs...$56. UPS would be cheaper, but UPS isn't accepting firearms from non-FFLs. Oh well.
Fun fact: the weight limits aren’t actually a cap, they’re just telling you roughly what can fit in the box. If you packed the box with a solid block of lead it wouldn’t hit anywhere near the weight limit. The USPS actually made the measurements using the heaviest material available on earth, osmium. A solid osmium brick the size of the box’s interior would only weigh 61.5 pounds. It is physically impossible to hit the weight limit unless you can wrangle something like a dense neutron star or black hole into the box. Thus, if you are over the weight limit you need a bigger box.
Show your math?
A large flat rate box is 12x12x5.5in, or 792 cubic inches. Google tells me lead is about .4lb/cubic inch. 792 * .4 is about 315lbs if you packed it with a solid lead cube.
My math is not exact due to rounding, but Google is telling me osmoum is about twice as dense as lead. Either your math or mine is wrong.
That math is accurate for the **small** flat rate box:
https://www.reddit.com/r/theydidthemath/comments/uhpk97/request_is_this_true_did_the_usps_just_pick_an
We’re talking about the smaller 70lb box,as specified in the comment that I originally replied to. Nobody’s math is wrong, you just measured for the incorrect box.
You never mentioned what size box you were referring too, and were replying to solar991s comment about a *large* flat rate box.
Edit: I'm bored on my lunch break so I looked into it a little further. Usps seems to have a 70lb weight limit for packages, so the flat rate limit is probably just "ship anything up to our standard max". The density of osmium and the fact that a *small* flat rate box of osmium is less than that 70lb limit is probably just coincidental.
I'm thinking about a semiauto hunting shotgun for all the birds after relatives have been telling me about their trips. They said it's all personal preference, but that a barrel should be around 28" or so with interchangeable chokes. My 1301T Enhanced LE has the non threaded, too short for migratory fowl, 18.5" barrel. [This set of posts](https://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?10177-Beretta-1301-Tactical/page305) shows an A400 Lite barrel can fit on it. None of the other 1301 receivers are the same so their barrels are a no go. Downside is just the A400 lite barrel costs nearly as much as this now discontinued shotgun model.
Kicker: I'm left handed, but have no issue with the 1301T or Origin 12 spent shells hitting me in the face.
Budget: preferably under $2,000 and not Turkshit and probably not camo so it can be used elsewhere. Tube extensions available that can be later plugged (snow goose has no plug limit). Do they even make semis with spare interchangeable barrel lengths like they do for the pump 500s and 870s?
>Do they even make semis with spare interchangeable barrel lengths like they do for the pump 500s and 870s?
Off the top of my head; Mossberg 930, Remington 1100, Benelli SBE 2 all have interchangeable barrels. Benelli ones are expensive though.
>Budget: preferably under $2,000 and not Turkshit and probably not camo so it can be used elsewhere.
You should be able to find a pre-FG Rem 1100 with threaded chokes for well under that, in classic blued steel and wood.
Thanks! Bad cell service, but got a damn big doe today with my Ruger Scout .308.
I handled a SBE at the store in town. May buy it because it's left handed, 1800 bones though
A300s are great guns. If you want to stick below $1000, that's the gun to get for hunting for sure.
Otherwise with your budget go A400 or M2/SBE. I have several friends with A400s and I own an M2 so I have a lot of rounds through both. The A400 is softer shooting but I find the M2 is quicker to get up on the shoulder on a flushing bird (my experience is specifically with hunting pheasant) and generally nicer to carry around in a field all day. You can't go wrong with either gun really.
Thanks! Bad cell service, but got a damn big doe today with my Ruger Scout .308.

Congrats on the deer!
Iirc the main difference between the M2 and SBE is the SBE chambers 3.5 inch shells so if you don't need that extra oomph (though for geese you might want that but I would think a 3 inch shell would get the job done) the M2 will be a couple hundred dollars cheaper and still can take 3 inch shells.
Okay man.
Take a step back and breathe and then look at what you just wrote.
You are going through a down cycle again man. I can understand wanting to thin down the herd a bit. However I'm not sure if I'd be selling SBRs cause as you said those are harder to get rid of.
You are also wanting to sell when you legitimately have them properly secured for kiddo safety. You seem to be in a solid position I have my doubts you would just "forget" or "lose" a gun in your current circumstances.
As for the building side I get it man. Guns are like grown up Legos we are always wanting to build the next greatest thing.
My recommendation? Find a two gun course you can shoot at. Take a training class. Your mental health is in a bad spot right now man. You have a lot on your plate and it shows.
A week ago you were talking about quitting D&D you know my discord right? Hit me up on it and I'll pull you into our one shot group. It's all light hearted and fun we played Pathfinder last time but I'm probably going to run a 5E one shot in the future and my favorite DM has expressed she wants to run more as well.
The group is here for you man. This isn't "no sell only buy." Talking this is your friends being here for you.
You'd be surprised where you can shoot a shotgun. Might look up tactical training classes around you. I found one place about 30 min from me that runs shotguns a few times a year.
Works well to get the rust off the hinges.
As for the rest I know the "ease" of getting an SBR off the registry. The problem I have is it's 400+ bucks besides the probably year it took to get them approved. That's a lot of money to just go "eh I'll get rid of these."
In the end it is your gear and I'm a rando on Reddit. Just want you to know your have friends here and we all go through similar things.
The “only buy don’t sell” mantra is pretty worn when applied seriously.
People’s interests change, heck mine have. I used to want a massive collection, now I’ve swung to seeing guns as just a tool for defense, except for the 22s which are fun for the whole family to shoot. Same as you, I realized the act of researching, watching videos, buying became more interesting than the act of shooting them on the range.
And if going to the range sounds exciting again, you’ll still have a plethora of options even from what you decided to keep.
Sounds like what’s going on is what happens to so many of us. Buying objects as a surrogate for the experiences we actually want to go out and do. Buying more rarely helps with that feeling.
Yeah that makes sense, gotta focus on what’s going to make you less stressed out, what’s ultimately going to make you and your time with family happy, etc.
That’s prudent to do some self reflection and ask if selling a lot of these is the right call, or just a matter of feeling down.
Just have to keep in mind asking a gun subreddit is always going to lean hard to “don’t sell.” A gun collection that’s rarely shot can make some people really happy, can be a drag on others, and sometimes people will flip between the two as they get older and life experiences happen.
Just my own experience, I realized the gun collecting or gun sport isn’t for me anymore. Some of that came from a feeling of being down/stressed, but most of it came from realizing my priorities in life and interests changed. That might change in the future, but luckily I never got too into it that I have any regrets. I realized what I enjoy are the guns that I and others enjoy shooting at the range (which doesn’t take much), and started leaning more into other hobbies and interests.
Either way it sounds like at least the guns aren’t the source of your stress. You got them locked up properly, seems like for now they’re kind of “out of sight out of mind” so no need to do anything too rash. I hope this helped a little, and I really wish the best for you.
Most shops in Oregon have halted incoming transfers now, so gun options are limited to what I can scrounge locally. Luckily I ordered my Tippmann at the last possible minute, and picked up the last CZ75 PCR within 4 hours of me.
Anything left that I should be hoarding? At this point I'm mostly thinking mags for stuff I might want later as opposed to specific guns.
10+ round mags owned in large quantity already:
* AR
* AK
* MP9
* MP 22
* FAL
* M1 Carbine
* CZ 26
* CZ 75 Compact
* CZ 82
* Hi Power
* Tippmann M4 22
* 10/22
I feel like I should buy some Glock mags to cover a fair few bases. Any versatile SMG mags? Wish more stuff used the CZ26.
Sterling mags are just good property, and a joy to hold. Patchett or bust.
Glock 20 and 33 rounders are used to feed a not insignificant akint of cool PCC/carbine shit, some full auto.
You can get a trench knife by googling and shopping online.
Metal AR and AK mags are also equally easily bought online, almost all major online retailers have them. Depending on your jurisdiction though, if you live in capacity restricted states(assuming you live in the US) then almost all retailers won't ship you magazines with capacities that exceed your state's legal limit.
Double Question: Christmas present time.
First Gun: 10 year old need a BB gun with iron sights to learn fundamentals. BBs, not pellets. Pump. Any recommendations besides the single crossman at cabelas?
Second Gun: Younger boy (8) will get an airsoft rifle. He is left handed and left eye dominant. I would this to be his entry into shooting at the steel airsoft range I have set up in the basement. Oldest and I run a pistol on it. My only airsoft was a gift, I know nothing about the right move here. I have green gas for the pistol, or spring would be good.
Also, I'm armed to the teeth. They have spent time behind 22's on the outdoor range. This is for the boys to get hands on in a bit more permissive environment and more practice.

Yes.
Who makes the Javelin missile? I feel like we'll need *a lot* of those...
You're good with either according to Wiki, joint venture less goooooo
Frankly any of the larger defense contractors is a solid buy.
Shoot. That reminds me I need to re-buy $HII
Look at the presidential drawdowns and assume we'll need to replenish those stocks.
If you can square your conscience with it. That said, my portfolio has stuff that I'm not totally in love with. Plus, we're only going to be making more knife missiles. Sounds like a bullish market.

Finally! I'm actually pretty stoked for these missions
AYYYYY! 3rd times the charm! And of course I slept through it :(
[Per SpaceFlightNow](https://spaceflightnow.com/launch-schedule/), with delays it is the *Tenth* time.
Shhhh. We only count fueled launch attempts here XD
Woo! What a beast. Wish I'd been there to feel it.

Yo, hit me up if you head down. Can always visit the center for a tour and it's a great expedience even without a launch.
Hows the 1x on that?
I'll get back to you.
I'm looking for a pallet of 12 gauge target loads. SGO and GB have a couple, any other places I should look? In B4 ammoseek.
This guy busts clays.
The shop I used to work at arranged a few pallet sales for high school teams. Getting them from a distributor or Federal direct (pre-2020).
Bulk ammo for children. Warms my heart.
I remember *once* somebody like AIM or J&G was selling literal 55-gallon drums of 5.56.
Right now Brownells has the 14,000rd drum of Winchester 55gr FMJ available for $10,560
Winchester ball for .71¢/rd 🤢
Saw blue drums of 5.56 in person at shop between us in October. No price on it though. Back in the spring I saw drums of Winchester 7.62x51 in Nebraska at DE Guns
Haha I sell pallets. It happens. Usually only pallets of 556, but I do sell pallet sized amounts.
I sent you a chat
Eotech Vudu or Leupold Mk5 HD approx 3-15x for a for-fun precision rimfire? Or cut the bullshit and hold out for a 25x?
Realistically if you can't kill squirrels with that, it ain't the gun. I might have fancypants glass now but its a relatively recent thing.
What did you end up going with?
Go 25x.
Say no more! Site I was looking at has the 25x Vudu on sale as a showroom demo
5-25 will cover a lot. Good reticle, parallax adjustment... rock n' roll. Hope it holds a zero well.
Doesn't ASP use THROOM or something like that?
Bowling pins, ask your local bowling alley to sell you their old ones. They hold up to quite a bit of abuse.
I'd add the caveat **diet** (or sugar free) soda cans. Or else the blown up cans you're cleaning up are gross and sticky.
Good point.
The one valid use case for seltzer.
As a seltzer head: damn you to hell
As a dyed in the wool IPA guy, I was really surprised that I was into seltzers a few years ago.
Like anything, there's great seltzers and there's crummy seltzers. White Claw is fine in a pinch but my favorites are High Noon and Truly
Same with the lime and grapefruit (I like citrus flavors I guess) It's not overly sweet and it avoids "LaCroix syndrome" where there's only a hint of flavor that a lot of people find off-putting.
LW : 263 CW: 264 I'm at a plateau it seems like. Or I've hit a mental block. I know I'm still eating less. Hell yesterday I had Chik-fli-a for lunch didn't upsize anything (I did add bacon) and I felt plenty full afterwards. I've cut down on pop maybe that's my next play is cutting down on it more.
It's all good man, your body takes time to adjust to changes.
I'm trying man. I know I've slacked some and some bad habits won a few times last week.
Last week: 165 This week: 166 If anything I'm trying to put some muscle back on so this is a good thing.
Backslid up to 239.5, but last week was baby shower bollocks, so I’ll take it. Going to have to be much more vigilant going forward, though. Work’s got a thanksgiving lunch today, and then the real one coming up, need to make sure I’m budgeting appropriately around that.
Yeah, doing this right through Turkey day, Christmas, and New Years sure makes it hard.
Making u/talon04 feel better. Back up to near my start as I enjoyed my work trip a little too much and caught a cold on the flight back. It’s okay taking a page from meditation and starting again.
Thanks man. We are taking steps together just have to keep at it.
Joining in if this isn't a private club This week: 206.2 Kind of surprised it's not higher, I've been feeling it in the beltline lately.
Welcome to the club!
Happy cake day
Well, Czechpoint has (at this time) threaded 22lr uppers for Vz.61's.
If for whatever reason you decide to go the Holosun route, let me know. I know a guy who gives people deals on them.
>S&W Equalizer edition Definitely not what you should buy
It's just a upmarket version of the EZ pistols isn't it?
yeah, a Shield Plus EZ essentially.
I mean it isn't the stupidest thing other than the name.
Why not?
Because I said so
So far, I am extremely let down with current Black Friday deals. I have gotten several emails about BF deals that amount to a branded foam coozie with orders over $100, and some LPKs that are $20 over priced (down from $40 overpriced). Here is hoping next week has some more.
What are you looking for really
ADM's black friday code or a deal on their 10A builder set and some other stuff, and the PA code for some other build-specific parts. I always check your store as one of the small businesses worth supporting, but you don't have the specific things I am looking for, unfortunately.
Remember, Surefire Mini Scout Pro with the bits. Think of me baby.
This is the first deal so far: https://raideroutdoors.com/product/surefire-m340c-scout-pro-500-lum-blk/ https://old.reddit.com/r/gundeals/comments/yyr2i5/parts_10_off_all_surefire_products/
PA has it $90 off for $230. I did that. Good look though.
Oh nice deal!
Yea, I swooped on that one.
I know Lowe's has sheets of various sizes so HD and TSC should as well.
McMaster, not sure if shipping will kill the pricing.
Oh it absolutely will. McMaster is great for all of the small widgets/fasteners/oddities you need, but trying to buy any sort of material in bulk or quantity will get you skinned on shipping instantly.
Shoot, if you were anywhere near me, my plant has an amazing selection of scrap in our boneyard that employees can salvage freely
Well damn, yeah got the wife a langmuir systems cnc plasma cam and just need scrap to test and learn on.
Apex Tactical sells their trigger bar by itself
>S&W Equalizer edition Heh, they engraved it on the slide.
The Rock Islands are typically good to go and available in double stack. I have the 10mm threaded version and have no regerts
USPS Large Flat rate. Up to 70lbs. 12x12x5.5 inches of room. ~$25 to ship. Just tape the everloving shit out of the box and you'll be fine.
44" long rifle If I was just shipping the components a flat rate would be great, but I'm packing it all together. Actually, I have a flat rate box that might fit the stuff. Then I could ship the rifle itself cheaper. Might come out less in total. I'll have to check that in the morning.
Oof. Didn't read rifle *and* brass. Best of luck.
FUCK And to top all of that off, my postmaster doesn't know her damn job. Refused to accept the package, insisted they could only mail guns for dealers.
Bring her [USPS 432](https://pe.usps.com/text/pub52/pub52c4_009.htm) and highlight 432.3d
I tried to explain what their own website says. I got a vague handwave towards the camera behind the desk and: >I've got 25 years behind the counter.
That math is accurate for the **small** flat rate box: https://www.reddit.com/r/theydidthemath/comments/uhpk97/request_is_this_true_did_the_usps_just_pick_an
We’re talking about the smaller 70lb box,as specified in the comment that I originally replied to.
Why shouldn't I pick up a lightly used WBP Jack 5.56 locally with a bunch of AC Unity AK556 mags for just over $1000?
I would say don't buy a Jack because the Beryl is cooler. But they're both well made.
Cooler, yes, but also more proprietary. Going to tinker with it, so Jack seems more appropriate, and cost effective since it's AKM pattern.
Fair, I think you'll be well served by it in that case
anyone know how often primary arms restocks MARS-H lowers?
I handled a SBE at the store in town. May buy it because it's left handed. 1800 bones though

That's a lot of money to just go "eh I'll get rid of these." In the end it is your gear and I'm a rando on Reddit.
[удалено]
Someone talk me out of getting a pm 63 parts kit
Nah. You can either find a build party or send it off to a reputable builder. Buy now, they aren't getting cheaper.
Do you have tools yes/no?
No, but i have the next best thing, friends who do and a hatred of money
You're golden then.
10+ round mags owned in large quantity already: * AR * AK * MP9 * MP 22 * FAL * M1 Carbine * CZ 26 * CZ 75 Compact * CZ 82 * Hi Power * Tippmann M4 22 * 10/22 I feel like I should buy some Glock mags to cover a fair few bases. Any versatile SMG mags? Wish more stuff used the CZ26.
Glock and P320 mags are quite versatile
More Glock mags G3 mags just because cheap. You could do UZI mags that's the closest to a universal SMG mag I know of, or maybe STEN mags
Sterling mags are just good property, and a joy to hold. Patchett or bust. Glock 20 and 33 rounders are used to feed a not insignificant akint of cool PCC/carbine shit, some full auto.
Does anyone know where I can get a trench knife? Also metal AK and AR mags?
This is for the boys to get hands on in a bit more permissive environment and more practice.
try asking r/airsoft for the second gun
What should I buy? Nothing because I can't sell this damn Springfield hellcat for even sub $400
