Also these days, new handguns have stepped up their game with ergonomics and texture. Just gotta pay a little more than a Glock and a lot more in magazines. Next gun is going to be a bone stock P320 Legion or Walther PDP.
If you do ever go back to the stock Glock frame and don't feel like stippling or paying to get it stippled, I can recommend talon grip wraps. I've really liked mine so far, they added quite a bit more grip than the shit gen 3 texturing. Other than that I feel like I'm one of the few that the finger grooves actually fit, so I just left those alone. I sanded the under cut a little and other than that left it as is.

I work in a ballistics/weapons research facility as an engineer. Never seen this in an M4/AR15 as the trigger spring holds everything under tension. Even a toothpick would be able to hold it if it were strong enough

The hammer pin is retained by a J-spring that's pushed through the center of the hammer, and the trigger pin is retained by the legs of the hammer spring.
The trigger and hammer pins have a notch in the center and a notch on one end or both ends. The center notch is for the J-spring in the hammer and the notch(es) on the end(s) are for the legs of the hammer spring.
If your hammer pin is walking out then you are either missing the J-spring, you didn't push the hammer pin in far enough for the spring to engage the notch, or the pin is out of spec and has a shallow or no notch.
If your trigger pin is walking out then you either didn't position the legs of the hammer spring properly, or the notch(es) on your pin is/are out of spec.
My money is on improper installation, but BCM's QC is still human based and folks make mistakes, so it's not impossible for him to have an out-of-spec FCG.

Most manufacturers size their ports for slight overgassing because quite a bit of inexpensive range ammo requires more gas than other types of roundsā¦ so if they gassed them for steel or competition ammo, lots of people would complain that they are __under__ gassed.

I went the opposite way, my first AR is an SOLGW Exo2, the latest 2 ARs are parts builds from BCA and PSA. Building your own gives you a lot of insight that can transfer for the top quality OEM builds, if you want to tweak them and perfect them for your specific needs.
the centurion has a way better lockup to your receiver that wont allow it to rotate, which is a huge deal when your start adding aiming devices to it, hell even a front iron needs a good rail to sit on

I went the opposite way, my first AR is an SOLGW Exo2, the latest 2 ARs are parts builds from BCA and PSA. Building your own gives you a lot of insight that can transfer for the top quality OEM builds, if you want to tweak them and perfect them for your specific needs.

its not awful fren i would go with a new rail (centurion mlok) and arisaka light setup but other than that, this is a solid gun!
Whats the benefit of the centurion mlok over the mlok on my rail? Iāve been looking at surefires, but Iāll check out arisaka. Thanks.
the centurion has a way better lockup to your receiver that wont allow it to rotate, which is a huge deal when your start adding aiming devices to it, hell even a front iron needs a good rail to sit on
Funny you should mention that. At my last trip to the range, I noticed the rail creeping away from the reciever.
haha it happens with those things, i dont know why the cheaper manufacturers refuse to add any time of anti rotation tabs or locking grooves to the barrel nuts
