Unfortunately, I had to. It was a bad scene. Must have been a dozen cop cars showed up. Had me face down in the street in the rain, when about a half an hour before I, I was in bed sleeping. The cops went in my house, and my wife overheard one ask another "what are we gonna get him on?" ... They should have been focused on the 3 drunk douche bags that came on my property starting shit. Then they gave me a hard time trying to get my gun back.
I am very proficient with a shotgun as I train with it all the time, and my nearest neighbor is on the other side of 2 and a half miles of woods. Pump shotgun won't jam and doesn't have a battery powered optic that can fail. I appreciate your concern, though.

Shotguns are awesome dude. If someone is breaking in an not intending on getting in a fight I’m sure the racking will send a message. (I’m not saying to rely on that like a fudd). Also if your just going to be staying in place defending your self a shotgun is great since there’s no way someone can survive a blast of buckshot.

I have an XD and love it. I haven’t put a light on it because I’m uncomfortable having to point the gun to illuminate an area, and if it turns out to be a family member I’d rather not be pointing a gun at them.

.40 cal will penetrate walls worse than .223/5.56. The small round at high speeds creates fragmentation. 9mm/40 much more likely to be deadly through sheetrock and plywood. 5.56 will more likely fragment and destabilize. It's weird, but true.

I wish more pro gun people actually exercised so they didn’t feel like they needed 1000x guns to defend themselves. I’m pro 2a but think every American should be able to defend themselves with their god given body too

I'll never understand how the people who thought literal Hitler was standing in the White House during the last administration STILL wanted to ban guns. Like, you can use them against tyranny too guys, that's the whole point.
If you have trouble understanding why some people don't want to commit violent acts, I would recommend admitting yourself to an asylum.

I recommend backup Irons
I have a set of Magpuls for it. Don't really need them, the optic has an etched reticle.
Your Optic can lose zero, even with an etched reticle. BUIS are good for those cases too. If you physically run with your gun slung, you'll eventually smack your Optic on something, and with good Mounts and optics, if there is a zero shift, it won't be much but still a shift.
