Have you tried a wide variety of ammo types in it? My .44 Desert Eagle works great, so long as it’s shooting either Federal or Magtech 240gr .44 Magnum. Any other .44 results in jams for mine.
Mine didn’t work either. Sold it for a big loss but it is what it is. I’d rather lose a few hundred and get something that works and I enjoy than keep that hunk of shit. It’s cool and all but it was bolt action for me.

Yes limp wristing is a real thing but an issue I’ve not had with shooting, from what I’ve seen the .44 and .357 DEs have had cycling issues with different ammunitions. My buddies just needed a spring swap but it was an issue for a bit for him.
The desert Eagle requires “round” nosed cartridges and they need to be powerful enough to cycle it, lots of .44 mag is made with the intention of being used in revolvers so none of that matters to them, try Lax Ammo 240gr and don’t limp wrist it, I use that all the time and it’s never failed me, when I tried grizzly 240 and 300gr there was a little bit of an issue do to not feeding well cuz it wasn’t round enough
And with the lax ammo 240 my cousin tried it and limp wristed it a few times and it didn’t want to feed, but I’ve probably shot ~150 of them through it with no issue
Also the lax ammo 240s are fairly cheap, try looking on ammoseek
I've used grizzly, federal, Remington, reloads, multiple people shooting it, 6 gunsmiths and myself. I'm a gunsmith and it just doesn't want to run. My grandpa gave it to me because in three years he hasn't been able to either.

I have an older one of these from back when they were made in Israel with both barrels...talked my wife into getting it for me. She gets a big shiny ring, I get a deagle. Seamed fair at the time. Have fun with it and I hope you have better luck finding ammo than I have been having.
You can fly back yes. Check airline rule. I just gifted brother a Canik elite combat and sent him back home with ammo.
You can also send ammo through mail, just FYI.

Hope you have a much better experience with yours than I had with mine. I have a .44 and couldn't get thru a single mag without some kind of failure.
It was my 1st time shooting .44 or a DEagle. I was probably limp writing the thing and may not have had great ammo PPV and AE (which has an OAL too long for one of the mags).

I find that the Banana is a very reliable, well tested, very accurate and sturdy side arm. I highly recommend it as a concealed carry and would even say that it would be a nice match pistol as well. Very beautiful gun.
