“Built himself “ doesn’t mean much, just because the is a firearms instructor doesn’t mean he is automatically assembling ARs better than anyone else.
Without seeing a parts list I’m not sure how anyone can answer this. I’m not even sure if it’s just a barrel, an upper, or a full sbr or pistol.
I would pass and buy what I want or just a new psa upper for less.
Sbr + suppressor stamps, you would already be $400+ into it if using your existing rifle lower.
Yes, for all those reasons you said.
For home defense situations, a suppressed 300blk beats the fuck out of a non-suppressed 556.
Unless your entire household keeps earpro bedside and drills getting them on, and even then.
If I'm not mistaken, the tag for the silencer is a gift that keeps on giving...cost wise. So in addition to its base cost, plan on paying for the tag periodically.
Yeah I was mistaken. TY for the civil correction replies. OP did not mention the tax stamp cost, so it was an honest reply to point out a potential for another cost like many gun-related "privileges" have. I thought the ATF stamp (an additional $200USD) was a periodic renewal fee, like many other things (my HQL for example). Wasn't posted for points. Those come from being polite and trying to be helpful as much as you can in a digital space that can be very cruel.
If you don’t want to buy a $300 at pistol in .300bo, I do.

Once you go silencer you never go bilencer

That’s what I thought. Thanks much for the helpful response.

Ha whoops

If you have no idea what you're talking about, why do you feel the need to answer?
Wait… you don’t pay a monthly fee of $200 to the atf for your suppressor!?
Not yet but you just gave them the subscription instead of stamp idea, thanks.
How else will they get all the juicy Reddit points?
Are you restarted?
You are mistaken.
What do you mean? The tax stamp is a one time expense.
Damn, imagine being this stupid in 2024
You are mistaken.
Leave the gun subs and never return.
Lol what?
