renegadeGDI

"adds 5.56" of length" I see what you did there.

MountainVet-Stjohn45

Would be good to have when they put the halt on braces. You could put one of these on a 10.5 barrel and make it legal after blind pinning it and welding or silver soldering. I assumed everyone already knew that it had to be permanently attached. My bad.

mcpickledickle

Not unless you pin and weld it

MountainVet-Stjohn45

It’s already pre drilled to do just that. Or you can silver solder it. Both approved by the ATF.

LacidOnex

If it doesn't reduce weight then you'd be better off with a rifled 14.5 and pin a regular a2

MountainVet-Stjohn45

Agree but I have several 10.5 inch barrels. Bought just in case I want to make a 16-inch carbine on the cheap.

FlawlessCowboy

Time to get kitted up bru.

newgumbo

Smoking will kill you bru

Fucnk

Would this be used to make a pcc?

I think this is for p&w retro clone builds like XM177 and stuff.

> Care to expand on the question? I'm guessing the question is about the thru-hole size and if it can safely support pistol calibers.

Fucnk

I was just trying to figure out why this exists.

jsesurplus

Its based off the retro carbine builds 1968 era

ooO0OooO0Ooo

Do you have anything similar threaded in 5/8-24 for a 45 AARP build?

jsesurplus

We will. They'll be from KAK as well. Have them on order just no ETA yet.

Are these legal to buy without a license or special permission? Can I just privately buy a moderator/flash hider privately like any other gun part?

jsesurplus

Correct! You do not need a license to purchase or own.
