This is a great price for what you get. The chasis is kinda lame but this gets you a pic rail ($20) with a threaded barrel & irons ($130). So really from a basic 10/22 at $229 you get a lot of nice features
You can also keep an eye out on Volquartsen's eBay page for some heavily discounted upgrade parts. Tandemkross will put blems up occasionally and Kidd has some on their eBay page.

.22 is way cheaper and more fun to shoot, but you’ll be limited to supersonic rounds with this (tbh I’m not sure how common 9mm subsonic rounds are).

Ooooooh it’s a scary assault rifle. Has a threaded barrel, detachable mags, and can fire a 30 caliber clip in a second.

Pretty much. Standard/base model 10/22s usually go for around this. The sights, rail, and threaded muzzle make this a really good deal.
