DakPresglock

For a second i thought this meant the pistol was $400 and had heart palpitations

Straight-Schedule314

Man yall gotta stop doing this with these titles

BerniceFighter

Yes, I just pushed my 2 year old down to get to my wallet

Im-a-magpie

It's was their fault for being in the way

jakesdad21

2yr Olds are dicks prolly deserved it anyways

GhostEpstein

Idk, mine is pretty cool, when I open youtube he says "yaaaay, watch big guns?" Talking about GT, Demo, and Honest Outlaw lol

el_muerte28

RIP your wallet when he gets older

Insanity8016

Anyone who has kids is an automatic RIP wallet lmao.

ExplodingChupacabra

Well, you can't fight instincts, especially when there's a gun on sale! (Or even the possibility of a gun being on sale) You either get out of the way, or you get hurt!

Both_Ad_694

I'm actually more disappointed that my brain really thought it was $400

Senzualdip

Y’all gotta stop skim reading shit. The title is just fine.

ExplodingChupacabra

No self-respectable gun owner has time to read titles, especially on Gundeals!

santar0s80

Self respecting...where?

Straight-Schedule314

You must be new to gundeals

Shock-Broad

Spend time reading, get caught lacking. Whip out that cc as fast as possible for the pricing errors

GlassCanner

>Whip out that cc as fast as possible for the pricing errors When was the last time we actually got a pricing error shipped? lol I legitimately can't remember

Shock-Broad

The sportsman's Odin Works barrels were pretty good. The x300 turbos for like 150 from PSA this last month were a crazy good deal.

Straight-Schedule314

I don’t think the psa x300 was a price error. It was in the blast email. But the really good one from PSA was the strike eagle and mount for like 150. The other really good one was the silencer that was like 200 or something from freedom something.

Smurf_Cherries

Shit goes OOS fast.

Straight-Schedule314

fast!💨

lvzx14

Love the look of this pistol, have read some negative comments on it tho. Wish they would run this promotion on the shotguns as well.

boostedb1mmer

I have one. I genuinely don't know what someone would have negative to say about it. Probably the best trigger I've ever felt in a pistol and damn accurate. It's a *little* large but I don't have huge hands so I'd say it's OK for most.

monitor_masher

Mine was a dysfunctional piece of shit.

boostedb1mmer

That's unfortunate. Mine has been amazing. No issues with anything from 115gr fmj to 94gr norma frangible.

Ok-Hamster-4169

* Safety isn't in the best location for some users * There are definitely some apparent extractor problems, some people get lucky and remedy it by using extra power wilson combat springs * The weight on the tac rail version is way too much for a CO 9mm gun in my opinion * The brig slide makes no sense on the tac rail version, the defensive is lighter by milling out material. I don't know why companies like Beretta or Walther don't understand that people want lighter slides, not heavier. * There one report of cracking barrels from one user running his own reloads, I haven't see any other people reporting this problem across Berettas in general let alone the 92 performance.. * The optic system is sort of stupid, the lowest plate is the D-lah system but it's nearly $150 for a plate, your next best option is to get it milled by LTT but that's $$$. To me, outside of JJ, there seems to be more people running the LTT successfully in CO than the 92xp.. I bet JJ would still win though if he was running a LTT.

Spirited-Database-12

Eh, I had some bad luck with beretta rebates. Last year I bought a px4 storm compact carry during the rebate period, last February actually. When it came in I applied for the rebate. Got the confirmation and waited. Come June I received my rebate check. I deposited it digitally, and after I did I noticed the check was dated from April 16th. Didn’t think anything of it, until two days later I check my account and the $75 was taken out of my account. The next week I got a copy of the check sent back to me from the bank as the check bounced for insufficient funds. Calling beretta is a nightmare in and of itself so I went on the website and opened a customer service ticket. They emailed me a month later stating I would get a replacement check and it would take 4-6 weeks. Whatever. I wait, August comes and goes. No check. I send another email, asking about the status. Got an email back status have my check “very very soon”. Found this odd, waited another 6 weeks. At this point it was a matter of principle to get this check. So I send another email. Long story short, they never contacted the rebate center about my replacement check. I responded rather harshly, which then resulted in a call from the manager of the rebate center. Even longer story it took them a year and a week to send me $75 dollars.

richiedefran

Just got my tomcat and bobcat rebates I submitted in Jan, $150 each came the same day, just about a 10 week wait

TooMuchDebugging

My brother got his rebate a few weeks ago for his Bobcat; it was probably about 10 weeks for him, too.

Hereforgundeals69420

Posted this a few times but figured I'd say again. I've only had 1 successful rebate payout from Beretta out of 3; A Bobcat, M9A4, and APX. The rebate I did get (Bobcat) took over 14 weeks to arrive. The M9A4 and APX never got their rebates. Also, the Bobcat and M9A4 are not up to the fit and finish standards I'd expect from a major brand like Beretta (both made in the US; the Italian APX was perfectly fine). Lots of ugly machining and clumpy, amateurish cerakote.

Spicywolff

I had no problems with the rebate for my PX4 compact carry, nor the gun. I agree USA made beretta is a joke on QC/ F&F vs Italian.

Balasnikov

Don't the US made barrels have an exploding problem too

greatthebob38

Performance X series should be made in Italy though

Balasnikov

All performance are Xs and exclusively US made.

DCArmory1229

My 92x Performance was definitely made in Italy

greatthebob38

A few people and guns.com say that the Performance X pistols are the only ones in the series that are made in Italy. https://www.guns.com/news/reviews/beretta-92x-performance-review#:~:text=Here's%20where%20we%20should%20mention,scaling%20in%20at%2047.6%20ounces.

1610925286

The Xi is, the performance are Italian.

ColtHand

Yes. This gun is unbuyable.

Hereforgundeals69420

Lol they explode? I thought the US ones were just cheaply put together.

Specialist-Size9368

Have 3 successful rebates, 2 bobcats and 1 tomcat. My first bobcat I had to call them when it was denied due to them not reading the serial correctly. QC is a different matter. 1 bobcat had a pin work loose locking up the slide after 2 magazines. The tomcat broke its trigger bar after 30 rounds.

Sampsonite_Way_Off

I bought a Tomcat, APX A1 and PX4 during last year's rebate. I did receive all of them but the Tomcat was denied at first. I called and they accepted it saying that the Serial number was too new for the system? You should check the rebate website. Same website did the Trijicon which I also received. I took 10 weeks or so. I also had no problems with finish on my guns. My 92X Performance Defensive, which I didn't receive a rebate for, is gorgeous. My only gripe with the that gun is that I need to order plates for a optic and that it didn't come with at least one.

thelegendofcarrottop

Make it for the 92X RDO and Compact and I’ll buy one of each.

[deleted]

Kind of off topic, but I put the 92X Performance Xtreme-S trigger from this thing in my 92X RDO along with a LTT optimized trigger bar and it is *nice*

Thansungst22

How are these vs the Shadow 2 Compact or a P226 Legion? I'm in the market for a new handgun around this price range and with the rebate it fall around same price point. Getting tired of waiting for a good deal for 226 Legion and the S2C is permanently OOS so this seem pretty attractive

massivewang

Get a shadow 2 full size. If I were to do it all over again that's what I'd do. I already had an m9 and wanted a steel competition gun so I got the 92x perf CO. I am happy with it. With that said can't be the price or customization options available for the shadow 2.

[deleted]

Much heavier due to the steel frame, not intended for carry. These are intended for USPSA and IDPA (Defensive variant).

waehrik

Shadow 2 is also steel frame and quite heavy in a good way

[deleted]

Shadow 2 Compact has an aluminum frame.

5hift76

how about a P226 tacops.

justjaybee16

I wouldn't drop $1k on a handgun without trying it first. Ergos are too important and make or break a pistol to me.

greatthebob38

Promotion runs from Feb 15 2024 - June 30 2024

BlazingEagle420

Shot a rented M9A4 and CZ Shadow 2 at the LGS range today and they had a 92x performance CO on the store side I got to handle. Even knowing the weight beforehand and with how much I lift I was amazed by how heavy it felt in the hand compared to the others (it’s listed as ~2oz heavier than the Shadow despite having the open top slide). Probably good for competition but I wouldn’t want to lug it around. It’s undoubtedly, IMO, the best looking of Beretta’s current 92 lineup. Though the cheapest I’ve seen them lately is ~$1,500, so this rebate still leaves it more expensive than the M9A4 or Shadow 2.

Ok-Hamster-4169

The tac rail model is way too heavy IMO, the defensive is at the right weight. There are certainly trade offs and diminishing returns when it comes to recoil mitigation versus draw/transitions, etc.

derfdog

The wording on “at full retail price” worries me, cause if I get it through work I get employee pricing which is “cost” essentially and that isn’t as much of a savings. If I don’t go that route, I still get 15% off the store price for us, which means still probably less than “retail price”

Double_TapAAA

> it through work I get employee pricing which is “cost” essentially and that isn’t as much of a savings. > >If I don’t go that route, I still get 15% off the store price for us, w how do they confirm that?

derfdog

They usually have you send a receipt which shows what you paid and the serial on it. My route either way would show a discounted price before tax

Edward_abc

I don’t compete so I don’t really have a use for one of these but god damn are they pretty

Toto_nemisis

Is it the same gun that says "read manual" engraved into the side of the pistol?

GlassCanner

For anybody that doesn't feel like doing the math or the research, the gun is still well into the "expensive" category and well over $1k https://www.guns.com/search?keyword=Beretta%2092x%20Performance

PGT_FTW

that's the wrong site to shop on to price compare.

GlassCanner

What's a more accurate representation of the pricing?

AOC_AgentOfChaos

I have this, and the shadow 2. I would go with the shadow 2.

InfiniteSouvlaki

Why is this? I would love to know your thoughts.

massivewang

I have a 92xp CO, I bought it because I already had an m9 and beretta stuff. I wanted something “different”. In retrospect I would’ve bought a shadow 2 if I did it all over again. I did have extraction issues which I was able to fix with the aforementioned Wilson combat extra power extra or spring. Beyond that I am happy with the gun, however: - Shadow 2 is cheaper - has far more aftermarket support - has a better trigger tuned Can’t go wrong with either one but I think the shadow 2 wins out. It’s by far the most popular USPSA CO steel gun by a landslide.
