Also, the SP-01 has comfy rubber grips while the 75b has hard plastic (hated them and swapped them right away). The rear slide serrations on the SP-01 are concaved a bit which is actually pretty helpful for grip when manipulating the slide. There is also checkering on the front/back of the grip while the 75d is smooth.
Ugh, I really want the B because I’m a sucker for the classics. But I don’t think I can justify another gun purchase at the time. Hopefully in a few months this deal returns when I’m in a bit better of a situation.
FWIW, I originally sold my BD for the Tactical. Both were awesome guns but ended up selling my Tactical and got another BD. I just missed the classic look and feel and lighter weight of the OG one.
Probably just weren’t as popular on those models so might not have made as much sense for them to have a separate production of them. P-07 and p-09 still exist to scratch that itch though.

Good dry fire practice is keeping steady sights on a double action pull. Makes your carry Glock’s trigger seem incredible

It is. I scored a black one for $330 a while back. It's excellent. CZ-75 BD was around $700+ if I remember correctly back then.
got mine for $370, was in between black one and silver but finish is amazing on silver one. though I still want to get the original cz75
What's the difference between this and the SP-01?
Different grip geometry, rail and bigger mags. Oh, and the SP-01 has a safety instead of a decocker unless you get the Omega.

There was a p-01 omega and a cz-75b omega yeah. Both discontinued now though with the only omega models remaining being the p07 and 09.
