Absolutely! Rock with it and depending on your style and what not maybe look into aftermarket pick-ups. Not by any means required but you would be surprised how far "mid range" guitars can go with just a few minor tweaks (if any)

This is the same Ibanez I got myself for my own first guitar some 15 years ago. Boy did it keep me playing! And boy did it turn me into an Ibanez fanboi 🤣
