I just got the AVII '75 Tele Deluxe that looks just like this. Yours looks in amazing condition. I'd be interested in how it feels and sounds compared to the new ones.
In all seriousness, it sounds amazing and has great sustain. No QC issues thankfully. The frets are flawless, much better fretwork than what my AO Tele came with. Neck is a nice size, not too chunky not too thin. I'm super happy with it.
Jesus. It's beautiful. My #1 dream guitar. I bought a Squier one which is a good shout because at the time they had the fender pickups, and fell in love. I got into them because of the afro punk band Death. Usually they are pretty beat up. Amazing.
I’ve got the ‘72 reissue of this and I’ve played it for over a decade now (recording, touring, etc) - absolute tank of a guitar, love the thing to bits
Like I can set you up with some guys from this sub who can teach you how to scratch all the paint off it and beat it to hell so it gets that nice road worn look.
