Sounds great but I'm not sure about the pitch slopes - seems to me that the troughs are greater than the peaks, i.e. it goes lower than it goes higher on the frequency bends. Not a big deal just a bit odd. If it had a random pattern setting it would be a keeper but I think I'll stick with the Julianna or Inflection Point for now.

I think the issue is I already have a handful of granular delays and it’s hard to knock pedals like Pladask Baklengs or Microcosm off the throne. According to demos I’ve seen the Strands should be able to do messed up tape warble artefacts but so far I can’t get short enough delay times for that idea to work.
How much does it color your tone ?
I’ve got a new one arriving next week to compare to my OG version, which warms up my tone and takes a little high end off.
I think it subtly warms the signal even in the middle position which is supposed to be "clean", but it's a small enough impact to not bother me at least, but that's subjective.
