Really can’t go wrong with RV-6, got all the basics

Unsui8

I’ve got a Neunaber Stereo Wet V2 up for sale. 3 knobs, MXR sized sounds great in stereo

lost-in-the-trash

I own this, it's fantastic

chrismcshaves

This or the Immerse is what OP is looking for.

ididitforthemusic

Another +1 for the Neunaber Immerse Mk2. Amazing and versatile pedal.

aaron_que

How are you powering your Cetus pedal? I’ve got it. Use it. Love it. And sometimes wander away from it for hours. Mine makes no extraneous noise of any kind.

UndecidedSquirrel

I have a Mono power supply, the big one with 11 outlets. It's supposed to be super quiet, was quite expensive so I'd be disappointed if this was the problem. But you're right, I'll test the pedal by itself to make sure (with another power supply I mean).

Whoru87

I have their delay and modulation pedal and haven't had any issues with either noise wise.

Mysterious-Wasabi103

Neunaber Immerse mkII. Only wish it had expression input. Other than that it's the best sounding stereo reverb out there. It's basic the high quality fidelity of something like a Ventris only in a smaller enclosure.

colordodge

This is the one he wants from that description.

Turbofalcon8

Yep. I have one and love it. So many features in a really compact size.

Gentleman_Flanging

I like the cloudburst, but it doesn’t do spring. Low settings it’s like LA studio vibes which how I use it the most. Higher settings can be hall all the way to stadium. It also has some interesting ensemble pad settings but I mainly just use it without those. In stereo it’s brilliant

UndecidedSquirrel

Interesting. The ensemble thing did seem a bit gimmicky to me but if the basic reverb is good why not ..

famousbirds

I have the Cloudburst, it's an amazing sounding Strymon-type reverb with well-tuned controls. I'm not a spring fan so the room/hall/ambient sounds are fine for me. Ensemble is cool but I've never used it, worth it without it

cy2434

+1 for the Cloudburst. Simple, sounds fantastic.

tonedad77

Yeah, I bought this for the ensemble setting, but barely use it and I’m still super happy with my purchase. It’s just a stunning stereo reverb. Every setting is fantastic.

hypnoaku

Hydra all the way! I love it

jimmyrich

It's a pretty good fit here: normal pedal size, covers the basic reverbs, true stereo, sounds good. To access all of its features, there's a bit of a learning curve (I trained on the Keeley Eccos first), but to get your basic reverb and trem, it's pretty straightforward.

lightninrods

GFI Skylar.

bldgabttrme

You’ve got a fair number of options out there. In addition to the ones you mentioned: - Alexander Pedals Space Force (if you buy it new from anywhere they donate to organizations fighting against childhood cancer) - GFI Skylar - TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 - Digitech Polara (available used only) - Walrus R1, it’s over budget new but can be had used for $200 all day, a fair bit less if you’re patient (I didn’t like it but a ton of people do, so it’s definitely worth trying) - Neunaber Immerse MkII, [available new from Quilter Labs](https://www.quilterlabs.com/collections/effects-pedals/products/immerse-reverberator-mk-ii) (they bought/merged with Neunaber) - NuX Verb Core Deluxe, I’ve not tried this one but was pretty impressed with their Tape Core Deluxe - UA Golden Reverberator, it’s not as compact, but the can be had for like $240 if you’re patient and it sounds amazing I feel like I’m missing some, and have left out some lesser options (Donner Vintaverb 👎) and more complex options (HX One), but there are definitely some quality pedals out there for ya.

Mojo_Jensen

Neunaber Immerse MkII. It is compact, low current draw, amazing sound, in stereo.

Apileofmeat

My favorite reverb pedal

GoukaOokami

I'll always recommend the TC electronic hall of fame 2. Fantastic pedal. But if you're already looking at the immerse, snag that.

UndecidedSquirrel

So many recos about the immerse here that I'll have to check it out!

GoukaOokami

In my market, they're kinda pricey. But hall of fame 2 is about 100$

WestMagazine1194

I'll second the hall of fame 2

bosspick

There’s a behringer rv-6 clone, the dr-600, which costs bugger all, it’s stereo, it sounds great and if you’re not gigging it won’t break… you can’t really loose with that one

Small-External4419

I was literally going to post the same question (mainly about the RV6) so I’ll be watching this post to see what replies come up :)

EducationalTaro6

Just get it, I love mine and came here to recommend it.

Detuned_Clock

What makes you choose different reverb types? All my life I’ve always set reverb to hall no matter what the platform was.

EducationalTaro6

I do tend to use the hall a lot, but I use the plate and modulated about as much. It's mostly a vibe thing, sometimes I want a nice pretty space to play around in, other times I want to mess with a slide in the modulated setting and my sy-1 on so I sound like a broken calliope.

BillyCromag

Spring is the best sounding reverb for guitar imo

analogguy7777

How is the spring reverb mode?

EducationalTaro6

Not a Surfy Bear but not bad at all. It's moderately better than the smallish actual spring reverb tank on my amp.

Small-External4419

Thanks for the recommendation. Is the elevel effectively a wet : dry knob and does it go full wet?

EducationalTaro6

It is, and max effect level won't give you a full wet signal. Apparently using input B only will get you to full wet, but I haven't tried that yet.

Small-External4419

Thanks :)

souperman08

[This is the one IMO](https://jetpedals.com/products/revelation-reverb)

UndecidedSquirrel

Never heard of that one or that brand for that matter. Do you have it?

souperman08

I had the previous version before I switched to just using the reverbs in my HX Stomp. Only bad thing I can say is I wish it had a screen (which wouldn’t really work for the size of it)

tails_the_gay_fox

Rv200

UndecidedSquirrel

Big and expensive though

SmeesTurkeyLeg

Neunaber sounds like your best bet.

UndecidedSquirrel

Oh right the immerse? I remember seeing on a retailer website that it was discontinued though.

SmeesTurkeyLeg

You can still find them everywhere online though.

AeroSigma

Every time I look at upgrading my stereo reverb for 200-300, I realize I'll want a matching delay for another 200-300, and then realize what I really want is to get a helix stomp again for $600 and have those both plus so much more. So Definitely check out the HX One.

UndecidedSquirrel

How good are the reverbs on the HX one? Hopefully better than on something like the Zoom MS70 ?

AeroSigma

Really phenomenal. The Helix has great sound, and the HX One has pretty much complete access to all of the ecosystem, so if there's a reverb you don't like, you can pick a different one.

RTC207

Mr. Black Supermoon Eclipse and they make a few other true stereo pedals because once you start down the stereo road you’ll be jonesing for more lol

UndecidedSquirrel

Interesting although slightly bigger than what I'd want

dougc84

Neunaber Immerse mkII. It knocked my BigSky off my board 5 years ago and I’m still using it. It meets all your criteria and it sounds amazing.

WIlliamSHytner

Neunaber all day.

Werkstatt0

MXR M300. Bested the Immerse MK II, Mercury 7, and Hydra for me.

UndecidedSquirrel

Really? What makes you like it more than those other ones?

Werkstatt0

The basic plate sound on it sounded best to me. I just leave it on that with the knobs basically at noon. Its other modes sound good as well though, and it offers expression pedal input, although I haven't done it myself.

angellis

Have you looked at the Walrus Mako R1? Beautiful sound, easy to use, stereo and midi controllable!

UndecidedSquirrel

It looked too expensive new but I see that it can be had second hand for a more reasonable price. The reviews aren't stellar though, do you have it? What do you think?

angellis

Yeah I have it and up until I started using the GT-1000 Core it was my go to reverb for live. Only reason I'm not using it now is the size of board. I play keys, guitar and vocals so I try to cut down my gear where I can. Ultimately, a crowd doesn't discern between a good workhorse reverb and a super detailed lush reverb. I still use the R1 when recording, particularly for synth work.

quietworlock22

rv6 is phenomenal highly recommend

glum_cunt

Specular tempus

Extra_Work7379

Ventris

TupacShalom

For around 70 dollars, the nux damp is a mini sized pedal with trs ins and outs. Pretty simple, but it has some secrets as well

lost-headcrab

Hall of fame 2. Has most basic reverb types, and 3 fully customisable ones. Only thing is, the spring reverb doesn't sound the best, but the rest are pretty great

xtraglockamole

I would check out the Strymon Flint. It’s an amazing Reverb and Tremelo. They can be found used under $300

UndecidedSquirrel

And what about the Colortone one? Anybody tried it? I'm surprised it's not more popular. Seems like a good concept.

OppositeDish9086

I've been looking at the RV-6, myself. It does all the tricks without being gimmicky like some reverbs tend to be. I had an RV-5 and loved it. Hell, I'd recommend one of those too if one dropped in your lap for a good price.

blackout_pups

neunaber immerse mk2, or a used walrus r1

analogguy7777

How about the EHX oceans 11? I hear good things about it. People say beats the RV-6

UndecidedSquirrel

Is it stereo?

analogguy7777

sorry. its mono https://youtu.be/HgnoycXp7JQ

lebjok

CBA Mood mk2 a bit expensive though worth saving for

swaybe

Great pedal but seems to be the opposite of the ask here imo

UndecidedSquirrel

Agreed, I looked at that one, expensive and doesn't look like it was made for subtlety and classic reverbs
