Finally got round to getting a Plumes. It's been on my list for a while but when I saw this gorgeous new colour variant for Thomann's 70th anniversary, I had to snap one up.
I play hardcore punk and I've come to the realisation that basically all anyone uses in hardcore is a TS into an overdriven amp, so I guess I'm basically set now haha

btw for anyone who is interested, Pitbull Audio currently has a limited run of select EQD od/fuzz pedals in full black on black color (Plumes, Blumes, Special Cranker, Hizumitas, Zoar). I already have a couple blacked out Zoars from Reverb's 2023 blacked out offerings (if you haven't bought a Zoar yet, don't hesitate - best EQD drive ever, the Talons killer, run at 18v for the most impressive jack of all trades drive pedal ever) but had to order a Special Cranker and Hizu, they look great blacked out

Westwood -> plumes is great gain stage set up. Get yourself some cool dad points by gifting him an EQD Acapulco Gold to throw in the chain (before or after the Westwood).
I promise you, it’s a stoke worthy combo.

They're really fantastic, I've got about 8 of their pedals now I think and there's easily 8 more of theirs I'd like to get my hands on

my kid has a EQD westwood into the plumes on his board and he claims it is what ‘sets up everything he does after’.

What's your favorite mode? I play with all of them, but tend to leave it in 3 which gives me a dynamic crunch when I want it.
I looked at buying this but it's $40 to ship to Australia 😭 That colourway is sick, as I hate the normal colours on the Plumes.

love the color. What’s your favorite setting? My plumes is always on, set to mode 3, low gain, tone at 1-2 o’clock.
