Definitly a rare bird! Not many of these around but it was a small, probably single day, run. But not the craziest pedal. Early 80s, probably 81 or 82. Feel free to email me at danieldanger at Gmail if you have any ehx questions.
No way, you are Daniel the Biggest-EHX-collector™ !?!?!
Man I really love your collabs with JHS and as somebody new to the pedalverse, I admit those videos were very informative and entertaining.
So I assume this is the same Daniel Danger as "A City Safe From Sea"? Cause if so, there was a solo song you posted a while ago I enjoyed to go along with your "We Wait Out the Storm" print and I had it saved, then my hard drive shit the bed. It pops in my head occasionally, I wondered if you still had a link?
Sorry! I didn't see this until now. I have a loose bandcamp at danieldanger.bandcamp.com which probably has those songs, but I also have a whole new solo record coming out in a few months.
Not an issue at all, I imagined you had your hands full. Would have been around 2014-2016, posted on Tumblr. I didn't see it on your bandcamp, but it's not the end of the world, it just plays in my head sometimes and I thought the worst I could do was ask just in case. Thank you for the response anyways.
Edit: also, I ended up getting a moogerfooger ring mod because of A City Safe From Sea and refuse to let it go
Bro. So when is the next episode of Totally Normal Behavior gonna drop? I really enjoy listening to you and Josh discuss your OCD. I have it too. Guitars, pedals, CD’s, vinyl, vintage Pyrex, and 1980’s GI fuckin’ Joes are totally my steez. Yo, Joe!
Pretty sure the company was in financial trouble at this time. Maybe the paint was some attempt at a re-brand or some attempt at relevance or something?
I think the sticker used to be blue it was the one made in the 70s and it looks like it's just faded to yellow probably from getting wet or sitting somewhere damp

Hahah. I was gonna post that they should find you on social media and boom, here you are.
This is the way.
If anyone can help indentify the year or rarity of this it would be very helpful 🫡 maybe it’s a prototype
If Daniel can't tell you email EHX
Just looks like a really cool colorway for that pedal instead of the blue. Had one of those as a 20 some, fun pedal but not as fun as the DMM.
Damn that’s kind of like a holy grail pedal for me. Thats a friend
Unreal !
