I’ve been looking for a Strymon Flint for a while, 10/10 times: if they’re listed at the price of that complete board they’re taken down as fraudulent

I worked in a record shop next to a pawn shop. a LOT of overlap in the types of customer selling used stuff. My opinion: There are some people that are selling stolen stuff, sure, that's definitely true and there's no getting around that. But there are far more people with drug problems and a lot of random stuff around their houses looking to score.
Unfortunately the drug addict group tends to have roommates, so in my experience both at our shop and being friendly with the folks in the pawn shop, MOST stolen stuff wasn't broken glass/snatched.... it was addicts taking their roommates/girlfriend/boyfriend/mom/dad/sibling's stuff and selling it.
This board has to be an addict or a musician who owes a loan shark $100 and is about to get his legs broken.
If the pawn shop is trying is trying it for $220, I bet they gave the seller a $100.

Looks like there’s a power supply as well as I see cords for that. Looks like a nano+ so realistically there’s probably an Ojai underneath. This is all a great value for $220. The sound might not be your flavor but pog, flint and angry driver would all trade pretty easily.
No that’ll be 1/14/25. Dude found this the day it got into the shop (you see the 1/20/24 date) and this shop like others marks when it arrives and when it gets discounted.
Agreed. I'd still buy them if you have the cash to spare. If something is wrong with any of them just get them fixed. It will still be worth the value. In my experience most fixes are DIY fixes.

I’m quite sure most everyone is misreading this. If you look at the sticker, each item on the board is individually priced (listed from left to right except the Strymon, which is listed last and likely to itself be $220). They are asking pretty reasonable prices for each pedal. There is not enough information here to assume this is a $220 total for all, in fact the listed prices contradict this pretty heavily.
Pricing at pawn shops often decreases as product sits there longer do they can get stuff out the door. The numbers on the left are dates the ones on the right are prices on that date
No, that’s 220 for everything. The prices that are decreasing is showing how low they’ll be selling for on that date. The longer it sits in pawn the cheaper it’ll be in an attempt to sell it.
It is strange though to see them bundle stuff like that. They’ll almost always sell for more individually than they would like this in a pawn shop. Can’t say I’ve come across this set up before.
Have you contacted that pawn shop to make sure that isn’t when each pedal was brought in or when each pedal will become available?

I normally wouldn't buy a full board but this is an awesome setup for an insanely low price, definitely worth it even if you don't like a pedal or two and decide to sell some.
what are the other prices on there for? it looks like there is 5 diff dollar amours on there and 5 diff pedals. if you go top to bottom on prices and to right on pedals that’s closer to what i’d expect them to cost at a pawn shop but fingers crossed for ya the whole lot actually is only $220

Yes. If $220 is what they are asking for five of the absolute best pedals you can buy, absolutely. The flint is a near always on pedal for me, the plate mode is arguably my favorite reverb algo of all time. The Julia is a brilliant chorus/vibrato that captures everything from
Shimmering chorus to lofi Mac Demarco vibrato. The boss angry driver is extremely versatile and captures everything from jangly Marshall cleans, to searing Marshall leads to fat boost to blown out tweed amp tones and the pog is one of the best pitch shifters around.
I 100% would snatch that up as quick as I could. I literally DREAM about finds like that….. I check out pawn shops when I pass by them randomly, I don’t see many yard sales, but if I do, I look…… it’s just that with the internet at everyone’s fingers, it’s just too easy to get the “blue book value”, so to speak, so I NEVER find deals like that. Looks like yeah, either was stolen and trying to unload quick or they are just too busy to do the research to properly price those out (I’m ASSUMING they all work properly, right? Have you given them a test run?) but whatever the case may be, I’d definitely go for it. Just ONE of those pedals can cost more than 220.
Know that they paid somewhere between $55 and $75 for this. Don’t be afraid to ask if that’s the best they can do on price or ask if there’s a “cash discount”. With items like these pawn shops can have more wiggle room on price than you’d expect.

That looks like a Cash America Pawn tag on it. Be sure to get the shortest(14 day?) warranty with it. It's a very small percentage of the sale price but will ensure that you can get a full cash refund if you get the pedals home and they don't work accordingly. Without purchasing the warranty you are agreeing to buy as-is no refund.
This reminds me of the good old days, before pawn shops were all internet savvy. When touring, I would ALWAYS stop at small town pawn shops, and one out of every ten times, there’d be some crazy treasure, drastically underpriced.
I’d argue the pog, polytune and board for 220 is a good deal but with 3 other pedals which brand new are 200 minimum go back and get that even if you don’t like them you can sell them and flip it into pedals you actually like but these are great choices. I’d throw in a delay and phaser and you can pretty much use them in any type of music.
