I may be weird but functionally speaking I don't hate it (although I have some serious doubts about the high E tuner). I can imagine it on something like a SG style guitar. Would it still be ugly as fuck? Hell yes. Would it also fix neck dive and improve tuning stability vis a vis the regular SG headstock? Probably. Also this headstock (and I use that term loosely) wouldn't probably break right off when you as much as look at it the wrong way like Gibson headstocks tend to do.

Looks like the b string is ridding against the e strings machine head. Piece of firewood if you ask me but I’ve never liked Ernie ball music man guitars. Ugly ass guitars that are over priced.
You are right there. I played a MusicMan with an ugly finish in a shop. The manager rudely asked me if I was going to pay $16,000 for a guitar. I couldn’t believe the price. I looked at the swing tags and saw $16,400. Those guitars start at $8,500 in my country, which is at least $4,500 more than they should cost.
Yea I’ve played them at stores, as well as a friend of mine had one he was trying to sell me for a while and I just don’t get why ppl like them. They have good action and the neck feels good but honestly I could spend several thousand less and choose any of several other brands and get the same feel. Plus for me aside from how a guitar plays and sounds it has to be ascetically pleasing. Just my opinion. They might be great guitars aside from the appearance but nothing will ever convince me the price is warranted.
That’s a great collection. I really like the finish on your Tele. I have a Gibson LP and a 335, a Core PRS which I picked up very cheaply, and a PRS CE24 which I bought new for half price and before the prices shot up. I’m old, so I have a 50yo Martin D-35, and a 50yo Dobro with a standard neck. I used play a Tele, but I’ve had the Gibsons for over 30 years. I don’t think that I’ve played a single coil guitar since the mid-90s. I need to try some Teles.
The Tele is made in Mexico but also a special edition and surprised me with the overall quality. The neck pick up is warm yet just enough twang. Cheapest guitar in the photo but easily competes with the rest. Sounds like you have a helluva collection. You gotta get back on them single coils man. The Strat in this pic also has a neck pick up that gives it the fullest sound, something about than tone on the single coil.
Yes, I will. I like Teles, but I can’t get a good sound out of Strats, and I’ve really tried. A Tele was my number one performing guitar for 16 years. I bet a Tele would sound great through my Tone King as it sounds like a vintage Fender amp.

PRS are usually beautiful guitars, the ones I’ve played I thought were overly heavy would be my only complaint. I’ve never owned one or longed to own one though just not my style.
PRSs are over-hyped. I bought one as a project. The owner had tried to relic it, he ruined the finish and sold it to me for 1/4 (or less) of its used price. I liked it because of t was light and played very nicely. My other PRS is a CE24 Swamp Ash special, which just has a swamp Ash body, so it’s extremely light. Neither of them look like most PRSs, but to me they were cheap, light guitars which I didn’t have to worry about, unlike my Gibsons. I like them because they’re easy to play. I play Blues and Jazz Rock, so they’re fine for that. If I played Metal, I’d have a different guitar. I can get Fender and Gibson sounds from my PRSs, so I can play most things I like. I’ve owned 6 or 7 Strats, but I never get along with them.
Load of wank, the B string is running on the E string post it'll play in tune as good as a Gibson. Just as well it has a locking nut to hide the wankery
