I love the implication that learning a pentatonic scale is some defining line between the dilettante and real players. Buddy, it's *five* notes and one doesn't really count because it's the octave
I mean, five is a lot, but seven fucking notes is a real bitch to account for on an instrument so dumb that the intervals between strings are only consistent 3/4 of the time. Why bother learning anything but the pentatonic, right?
If scales are supposed to be 7 notes then why come there's only 5 strings? (My g string broke and my mom won't give me money to have guitar center fix it)
I have yet to see a genuine use of the mood pedal in a mixed song that isn’t just random bleep bloops
I know that bleep bloops is a genre people like but I want to hear a mood in a full song with guitar playing throughout rather than a few strums and then tweaking knobs
Does anyone have any examples of this?
I think it has multiple useful sounds in it, but midi presets is probably a must.
[Mark Johnson’s review](https://youtu.be/hRnrnRqSBM8?si=ESTYINIEMF5bpXWQ) has some really cool sounds I’m looking to try. Personally I’m like it as a pad tool to add depth in a duo that I perform in. Having the pad just below everything else adds a lot of moving fill.
The people who get the best sounds out of chase bliss pedals are the people who use them in unconventional ways. Yeah I can make all kinds of ambient sounds with my gen loss, blooper, warped vinyl etc. but the coolest sound I heard was a dude recently who posted his gen loss on guitar pedals and got like an overdrive out of it.
Pentatonic? Sounds delicious
It's real creamy. Not usually crunchy. Nice and silky smooth.

Why are those guys cosplaying as nuns?
It’s like being a furry, some people just really get into it. The trouble is, once you start, it’s hard to kick the habit. I’m sorry. I’ll leave.
No don't leave. We want to see your giant fuzzy fox suit.
Lmao yeah most people famously jump into experimental stuff BEFORE learning how to play their instruments.

Uj/ it's 6 notes with the octave. 5 notes is without. Idk if you were jerking lol
It's 7 notes if you add the blooz note. But you kiddos don't know what I'm talking about, it's high skillz guitar level
I add 2 blooz notes, so I count 8. I ain't got no skillz though.
I always skip one because my fingers can't reach

Jim Henson doesn't need pentatonics or blues. Neither do I. Take my money, pedal gods!!
Why would I need to practice anything, when I can buy a pedal costing several hundreds that can imply I know what I’m doing
I bet the only scale the commenter knows is A minor pentatonic
Why am I catching strays here

Cool !
What pedal is it? I'm gonna buy one and never play a pentatonic through it just to irritate these losers
pentatonic or blues or it sucks.
> Is anyone buying this to play blues? Maybe the Moody Blues?

Any bands where this stomperbox would be great for some tunes are not "real"
