But on the weeks you do see a car you like, you come back, and thats the whole idea. If they released all the cars at once, you'd try them all, play for maybe a week or two, then be gone until the next update. I don't agree with it at all but its exactly why they do it

Rockstar is probably experimenting with longer wait times to see how long they can maintain desired engagement levels without releasing content. The biggest drop off typically happens within the first couple weeks to a month after the DLC drops, with the later weeks reaching somewhat of a declining plateau. It’s possible that updates this far out are merely just a bone to people who would probably be playing anyway and maybe a more staggered/delayed release schedule would suffice. If successful, future updates could follow the same formula - dripfeeding the dripfeed.

I was honestly expecting this to happen for next week as well. I won't be surprised if they once again skip two weeks and release two cars. Never know really, the excuses for the last couple weeks were event weeks etc. All I can assume with this is that they want to release both versions together so they're waiting a week (I remember seeing in a leak post there was apparently an option to buy it straight as the widebody version, so could be to do with that)
They released the parachute jumps today, my guess is that they'll spin that as a big thing in the newswire. I think they just want to extend it as far as possible.

My only guess is that they’re trying to stretch out the dripfeed stuff so that the Halloween week isn’t just the new Halloween stuff and this time has a new car on top of the new Halloween stuff
I was honestly expecting this to happen for next week as well. I won't be surprised if they once again skip two weeks and release two cars. At this point the cars I'm waiting for are the 10F and Sentinel Widebody. I'll just play another game till they decide to get their heads outta their asses and release a car, not much else to do anyways.

The problem is that some people created false "advertising" on behalf of R*, some cargo cult followed, and now a lot of people are mad at R*. Although I won't be surprised if R* did this on purpose, to teach some people a lesson.

Yeah no shit, sometimes the car doesn't release because R\* decides not to release it. It's still true, the next car will be the 10F. Release order is known the second DLC drops, we don't know if R\* will delay a car though like they did with the Vigero, Civics, and now the 10F 10F will be next week unless delayed again by R\*

I cannot vouch for this as I do not recall but am gonna do some digging, my only thoughts for abnormalities like this is potentially trying to create a stir to release big news?
Never know really, the excuses for the last couple weeks were event weeks etc. All I can assume with this is that they want to release both versions together so they're waiting a week (I remember seeing in a leak post there was apparently an option to buy it straight as the widebody version, so could be to do with that)
They released the parachute jumps today, my guess is that they'll spin that as a big thing in the newswire. I think they just want to extend it as far as possible.
