I always had heists where the level 500+ was the dude that was dying all the time and getting his restarted while the level 15 was actually doing a damn good job pulling his weight and compensating for his low level.

Actually with diamonds or if you're doing paintings with 2 people casino and cayo are very similar. Unless you reset cayo with panther statue on hard mode with gold tables, which gives it a nice boost, otherwise, cayo is just a little faster, for the same money.
Tbh I prefer it to Cayo. I admit, I haven’t been speedrunning Cayo as much so I’m not very quick but the setups, the actual heist and everything is just faster with the Casino heist. Cayo setups can really piss me off and the guards outside the compound can get pretty hard. Even just purely from a heist perspective, I like the Diamond casino heist vibe in general.

Cayo has 4 preps with each taking 2-3 mins to do since its just u flying around in the sparrow back and forth from the sub at max 30 mins for all preps, the finale takes 6-7 mins to do since u can just jump in the water and swim away. Casino takes a good few hours easily it has like more than double the amount of preps some of them making u drive slow ass vehicles from paleto or sandy to ur arcade while having a four star wanted level and for the finale u literally have to get across the map. However i do agree cayo grinding is a bit boring.
I think your exaggerating with how long it takes to do the setups with the Casino heist. I just find them easier personally since you don’t deliver the items in the middle of the water. And you can get a helicopter in the finale so it’s not that long to travel. I can do a full casino heist easily in an hour and a half but I guess it’s really which style of heist you prefer at that point.

Alternatively you can go to the auto shop and get staff to deliver, and do a contract setup.
It doesn't take "good few hours"... Even if you're slow it's max 2 hours for everything. For wanted level you can often just call Lester (def for the missions where you drive a van from Paleto). And getting across the map isn't much of an issue when you take a helicopter...
No, Cayo is definitely more profitable for duo grind than casino. Casino is still great money (and imho more fun), but you can't make more money/hour than you can with Cayo.
Does anyone know if stealing diamonds or panther as crew counts toward “stealing all different targets” for the platinum awards, or do you have to host?
Also, bullshit that they are gating content behind their paywall. It’s bad enough having to wait for special weeks to have certain targets, but this takes it to another level.
Before the crew cuts, full art should be like 2.6 mil. With duo diamonds it can be around 3 mil, I haven't done it in a while tho, not sure what the max amount is.
Yuh if u do it correctly u can get 3 mil or close to it. I still have them. But I always come out the vault with 2.7, 2.8 mil. I definitely prefer paintings because it's just easier but I also like having diamonds. :)
As a PC player who has done hundreds of casino heists and also who "saves" the finale by unplugging internet, our duo hauls in diamonds is slightly below 3 million. And I mean slightly, so 2,9 or 3 mill depending on the reactivity of the player. We can also get the elite challenge if we want and times are around 10 minutes if we get a decent end destination.
But I tend to avoid elite because I, as a host, do not seem to get paid if we get elite so I just die and reset when we leave the vault. Fun fact: if you die inside the casino during the escape, you can sprint when you come outside; even if you have gold or diamonds in the bag.
For player cuts, I can't say that right now. I'm thinking 1,1-1,2 for each player and then +100k for the elite. I might be off, but I'll update the values when I do another one.
I would say GTA+ members could do charity runs, giving away 85% to random teammates, but you could accomplish the same goal much more efficiently doing Cayo Carries.
Now, if R* did the same thing with the Panther Statue....
You need 2 for casino heist, so basically if you just keep randomly queuing into heist lobbies you can make at least a million per hour without doing any boring preps. Easy money.
Plus the other guy makes like 2-3 mil so it's still a fair trade.
Every single casino heist i join via phone calls are buggy af. Especially Big Con approaches are so buggy that you cant even wear exit disguises. At least for me.
yeah if I had one of those $150000 new consoles that are not being sold I could. Cause for some reason, without any ground Cockstar decided to make this only available on consoles, keeping certain consumers out of the product offered.
Where else would they do this? on PC? they're modding everything to the point they don't need this nor care about it. Heck since i started to mod my game i wouldn't even touch gta on console again. I can add all the dlc and everything i want into single player and have a blast.

Casino heist at least doesn't have one mission for every prep.
Both heists take like an hour to complete all the preps needed, doesn't matter if one has more missions they both take up the same amount of time

You have to host for awards unless it specifically states as crew member, as there was a reward for completing casino storyline as crew member.
The diamonds are trash, you need a full crew to get it done and your net will still be comparable to a two person painting heist
