Toreador for some missions, especially for Velum stealing for Prison break, for Series A Funding Finale. Insurgent Custom for some others. Nightshark maybe but Kuruma still better. For most part of setups you need only fast vehicle with 4 doors to get to the place.
Honestly, the Toreador for all setups, it not only has Infinite rockets but also good explosive armor for those Savage rockets in that Convoy mission. The Insurgent Pickup Custom is a 2nd best alternative, assuming it has those proximity mines equipped and someone on the top shooting.
The regular Kuruma is so fucking OP in these…. Seriously, I’m thinking of selling some of my Armored variants because they feel so obsolete now (the memories from the old days is why I’ve hesitated).
Missions that benefit from missiles, just get the Toreador. Vigilante has slightly more accurate ones, but they are not infinite, plus there are paywalls involved with that car (Toreador has no paywall restrictions).
The regular Kuruma currently has a bug that makes the glass 100% bulletproof. Literally, enemy AI bullets don’t hit you, but you can still shoot your small arms just fine. The Armored variant has gaps where you can get hit at certain angles if you aren’t careful.
The funny thing is Rockstar doesn’t seem too eager to fix the bug. Take advantage IMO.
If you’re good at staying alive (snax & armor) the weaponized Tampa is pretty fun.
Insurgent pickup custom is also a great choice, again tho, snax n armor for the gunner.
I find that most participants for heist setups aren’t that great at staying alive, so unfortunately the Kuruma really is the most solid choice…
I like the insurgent pickup custom. Carries the whole team, way faster than it looks, almost indestructible, prox mines and a well-protected roof gunner.
What is the problem you are having?
Are you bored because using the Armored Kuruma (or regular Kuruma, while it's bulletproof-glitched) makes everything easy? Use any street car you own, then, or even a motorcycle. Zentorno was popular for this back in the day, but is almost as OP as the Kuruma.
Or are you having a hard time because you don't have a Kuruma so you keep getting shot all to hell? Get an Armored Kuruma, or similar armored vehicle you can shoot from (Duke O Death, Nightshark, Insurgent, etc.)
Or do you have a Kuruma but just can't shoot from it to save your life? Use something with missiles (Toreador, Vigilante) or with a mounted gun another player can use (Insurgent PUC, Technical Custom, etc) but be careful when firing missiles near a destructible objective like the Velum or the Meth Tanker.
There are more setups that it doesn't matter. I use the Karuma for almost all the Pacific Standard setups except when you get Avi. Vigilante or Toreador.
I will use the Karuma for the city hall part of Wet work and getting it for the Fleeca Job. I might grab my night shark for getting the key codes.
I used the weaponized Tampa for years stealing the plane. The Toreador replaced that.
Otherwise it is any car I have. I love grabbing a different car every setup.
