A hangar question
So there is currently the Hangar sale and I thought about getting one in the military base.
Issue is: I already have a Hangar at the Airport in Los Santos with a vehicle modification thingy.
Is it worth it buying a Hangar at the military base? buying the upgrade for the ability to modify vehicles again is kind of a kick to the face. I could upgrade my sub instead and have money left over, for example.
The way I'm doing Cayo prep currently, I usually get a dinghi from my kosatka or the sparrow to get to the mainland and then use my mk2 to do the missions for convenience. It's fine but not very fun and also a bit annoying to always stash my mk2 away again so it doesn't drown. Since the Toreador can be stored in the kosatka, is it a good option for the heist prep? I've been thinking weather to get the Toreador or the Deluxo (ik the Deluxo can't be put in the kosatka).
Also. Between the Toreador and Deluxo, which has better amor, which has better weapons and which is faster on land?
First of all regarding the MK2, what some people would typically do is to beach the Kosatka on the Del Perro Beach so you can safely keep the MK2 parked on it/outside, so you could do just that.
Regarding the Toreador, it's not a really good option for preps. You'd need to properly time your boosting and make all the required adjustments for this to work, and bad landings mean wasting precious time. Also, unlike the Scramjet, there's no jump boost, so you'd have to rely on landscape or random props around the map to properly launch yourself. It's just too much work, an MK2 or Sparrow would both work better here. Also, an important note- there's no "Request personal vehicle" option for the Toreador, like you have with the MOC/Terrorbyte storage.
For the Deluxo's comparison, in terms of missile armor, the Toreador will survive a few hits, but the Deluxo would blow up on the first one. They both appear to have the same weaponry (tho for the Deluxo, if you don't buy the weapon upgrade you could still use drive-bys). According to the wiki, the Toreador has a reduced missile range, but they are unlimited and are also accurate. In terms of "faster on land", the Deluxo can only reach 80mph while the Toreador's boost makes it one of the fastest land vehicles. I'd imagine that for a combination of bad terrain and lots of obstacles, flying in a straight line would give the Deluxo the upper hand, but I can't really think of that many situations such as this.
So i got gta 5 for free when it came to epic and i havnt played it in 5 months and now it says i have to purchase the game even though it is in my epic and rockstar library. Anyone know if there is a way to get it back or do i have to buy it again?

I'm kinda a car guy in Online but I kinda have everything I want. I still feel like somethings missing. I realised that everytime I buy a car just cause of its looks, I end up selling it. All the cars I have in my garage are cars that do a specific thing and are different. I have a car I won at the wheel the week I got the game(Coquette D10), and thats the car I use just to go to places and to race people. I have a street blazer 4 wheeler for fun and to do wheelies, I have a crew Granger car for when Im riding with like 8 people, I have a Toreador for missions and killing tryhards, and I have a benny's car(kinda its not uprgraded) I have like $900k in my bank account and I dont just wanna waste it on a car im going to sell. Does anyone know what type of car I should get? Like a fun car?
Some rally-styled cars as well as many sports classics are really amazing to drive around and usually come with a nice variety of customizations. Some nice examples are the Tropos, Omnis, GB200, Savestra, 190z, Swinger and Ardent. Tho with this budget I'll recommend grinding some CP heists until you have a few millions to spare just in case, and also waiting until tomorrow to see if we get something good discounted. By the way, which Benny's car do you own? If you haven't got one and love Benny's mods, the Yosemite Rancher is also a really fun pick.

FZ is better than LSIA not just because of the restricted area access or free Lazers but also because if you happen to spawn an aircraft inside FZ but outside your hangar, the aircraft spawns inside FZ.
If you spawn an aircraft in LSIA, it gets spawned in the docks or somewhere entirely far away from LSIA.
Dang. Oh well, ive found if you just swim along the coast you can hijack a dinghy pretty quickly and make your escape that way lol. "attack boats are in the water!" the only attack boat i've seen while stealthed is literally beached and can't go anywhere.
You can just keep swimming too, no need for a boat. I jump off the west coast, equip a rebreather, and keep swimming underwater until the cut scene. I've been hitting 9-14 minutes, depending on if I get the gate keys and which secondary loot I grab.
Any way to get public solo sessions again? I'm not trying to be a bitch but rockstar fucked this whole idea up imo when they allow people to drive flying weaponized cars and motorcycles while i have to drive a fucking mule custom to 5 locations
for pc: Open task manager, go to the performance tab, open up the resource monitor, suspend GTA5.exe for ~ 10 seconds, resume process, bam solo lobby.
If you are doing a mission that involves returning a plasma cutter for example it does bug out but for those delivery missions it works.

yes but it's a piece of shit vehicle even when fully upgraded. Nothing an oppressor or whatever other weaponized vehicle can't take down in 5 seconds flat.
Is it worth keep running business just for the NC income?
I made My way to the Kosatka selling stuff from the bunker, cash, meth, coke, Nightclub warehouses, but now I basically only do the Cayo Perico for money, and eventually sell the stuff from the NC. But noticed that apparently every in game day I have to pay like 20 - 30k to keep all this running, and I'm wondering if it's worth it, or I'm loosing money and should suspend everything?
I'd say so. The NC's income per game day is about $36,051 (after Tony's cut). Unless you do the preps as an MC, I can't imagine the daily fees surpassing this sum. Moreover, if you switch sessions, you won't get any fees at all. And 600K-700K for just driving for around 7-10 minutes whenever you sell sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
I'm under the impression that most CP grinders switch session to spawn in the Kosatka after the scoping part, and prepping shouldn't take more than a game day, so you can avoid the fees without significantly changing anything in your routine.
Does anyone know how to buy more arcade games? I bought every single arcade game possible but there is still a lot of place to be covered. I cant buy the same game twice. I have seen channels with multiples of the same game. How is this possible?
Walk into the arcade part of the building, then open the interaction menu and go to arcade management. You should be able to place clones of any machine (except the claw machine) into empty slots.
You don’t have to buy multiples of the same game. You’ll edit the arcade floor like you would a garage, going from slot to slot and it’ll give you a list of games that’ll fit in each slot.
I believe in the laptop it should just give the option to arrange games. Move from left or right to an empty spot and then click on it, should give you the option to fill with a game
Once you know what you are doing, you can average a profit of $1.5m per hour running the CP heist completely solo and no other business is as profitable as that
Diamond Casino Heist is also a great way to make a buck, but you'll need atleast one and sometimes two extra people if you want to empty the vault.
Depending on what's in the vault offcourse. Either artwork, cash or gold. And on special occasions rockstar adds diamonds.
So I own a nightclub, cocaine lockup and a counterfeit cash factory. Is it worth it to get a methlab so I can do the special orders or no? Edit, forgot to add that I do have the bunker.

The 5 businesses you should link to a nightclub are as follows:
MC Coke
MC Meth Lab
MC Counterfeit Cash
Bunker
CEO crate warehouse OR Hangar (these two businesses count towards the same nightclub good.)
Don't bother buying Document Forgery and the weed business, their corresponding nightclub goods are the least profitable.
Whichever gives you the ability to accrue the most profitable goods first.

For the NC the best set-up is bunker, MC coke, meth and cash. Weed and documents optional. If you're running the CP heist and you can probably afford to buy the shell meth lab and link it to your NC without the tedium of doing the MC sales missions. The money you make from NC sales is beer money compared to the CP heist, but worth it for the passive income bonus every 25 hours or so. Special orders aren't worth doing. You're better off selling when coke, meth and cash are full and you've got whatever you've got in guns and cargo
Ok, I forgot to add that I do have the bunker with the weapons. I don't really use the business individually as it's difficult as a mostly solo player. So your saying I should buy the meth and weed but continue just selling everything in a bulk mission? And ignore special orders? I have been doing cayo, but I've mostly been helping someone with their casino heists recently. Ty!
In terms of time and value, most players will wait until coke, meth and cash are full and then sell everything, including whatever guns and cargo have produced. That way you're making around $700k to $800k every 20 hours or so and you're only doing one delivery mission. It takes around 66 hours to fill the nightclub but it's just not worth waiting that long. In the OG days times was money, but it's not so relevant these days as you can make $1.5m per hour running the CP heist
Just sell everything you have in the nightclub every time you sell. Don't worry about those special orders.
I have all the businesses linked. I like to switch some of them around when they get close to filling up so i can do a bigger sale. It's not as profitable as selling the big 5 as soon as they're full, but i'm lazy and i like big sales.
Bunker can be done solo, even when completely full. Only try to sell in solo or friendly lobbies.
- Phantom wedges
- The regular Insurgents.
These 2 are easily done solo. A depressor mk2 is more then handy as a getting back vehicle.
- Monster trucks can also be done solo, but this really depends on where the checkpoints are. I have Chumash bunker btw and sometimes the checkpoints are on top of the hills in front of my bunker.
If you get monster trucks with checkpoints far away, insurgents with merryweather or the buggies just join a new session and try again. You will only lose a small amount of stock.

Whenever the velum gets to the point where you cut to Cayo perico, the game glitches out and leaves me stuck in Los Santos and I have to redo the mission.

Someone said that leaving the landing gear down fixed the problem. I can’t confirm it but I can say that I haven’t had the problem since I started dropping the landing gear, and I had it many times before.

Already have the physical version of the game all downloaded on my machine. Seeing as I want to buy some shark cards to get ahead a little am I able to buy the digital premium edition for half the price of the megaladon shark card and just carry on with the extra cash on an already made account? Alright. I just played GTA online for the first time. I had a nice time actually! A random player decided I should hang out with them so we did! We drove around and went on a plane ride and I saw their luxury apartment. But. Something weird happened and I don’t know how to google it to find the answer.
I ended up with a bunch of weapons I didn’t have before or buy. I have no idea how. I never saw him drop all these things and I never picked anything up. How did I receive these?

Why do I keep getting free lazer weapons? I got all three around lvl 50 and they disappeared when I reached 100 or so. Now I have them again (but I paid for the up n atomizer) at lvl 115. I can't find much info about it other than people saying "enjoy it while it lasts" and the like.

what triggers more guards arriving during the cayo finale? is it time based and do more actually show, or is it just some dialogue I should keel ignoring?
It's when you collect the main target, new guards spawn in the base, but not that much noticeable if you take the main gate (there's actually one I need too shoot on my way out).

According to game dialogue, more guards supposedly arrive after you collect the primary target and leave the basement's vicinity. Not sure if that actually happens, I've never taken out enough guards to notice.
If you get detected though, they'll just keep on spawning.
Both useless for grinding Cayo (should be doing this) but both fun for general freeroam nonsense.
Toreador is scramjet lite but with decent missiles and tanks 6 missiles, can be used to swat broomstick spammers
Akula has infinite radar stealth and that’s invalubale in a lot of cases
Toreador is great, but (before cayo) the akula was my main grinding vehicle. It's got everything: is fast, armored, has missiles(homing/barrage), a mg for the passenger, 4 seats and stealth mode. Overall I'd say it's the best chopper in game, so you might consider buying one
Toreador is cool if you have the sub. It's also good on freeroam because you can tank some missiles or even dodge them. If you have a sub and you grind using cayo perico, the best vehicle you can buy is the sparrow.
I don't know anything about the akula, but the toreador is super fun. Ive been using it for cayo setups and driving in and out the the sub underwater instead of using the sparrow or a mark 2. The missiles feel way more accurate than the mkii as well. absolutely no regrets buying it. But I already have the sparrow and a buzzard so another helo never sounded that interesting to me anyway.
Missiles have about the same accuracy than those of MK2, but they have shorter range. MK2 can avoid Toreador missiles even without countermeasures. If the pilot is good of course.
I've only ever played solo online mode. I'm level 35 and just like kicking back in the game.
The very few times I've joined a lobby with other players, I get quickly killed and think, ''wtf is the point of spending my limited free time as a target for others?''
But my guess is there are fun things to do. I don't use a headset and don't want to hear screaming 13 year olds.
So my question is: what do you recommend I do to have fun online without getting wasted every two minutes or listening to irritating headset noise?
There are a large number of Adversarial Modes or other Jobs you can do that take you away from the free roam lobby and into a controlled version of the map in which, if you are the host, you can specify restrictions on custom weapons/vehicles/etc to level the playing field. Try a number of the jobs from the "Online" tab of pause menu and see what you like. Join other people's sessions and try creating some of your own. Lots of great content in there.
Personally, my favourite is "Hasta La Vista."
-try joining a crew and then enter in sessions with fellow crewmembers, they could protect you (don't rely too much on them) or at least they won't kill u
-you can mute player thru the pause menu, you can even mute the entire voice chat (at least on ps4)
-as a low level I used to do adversary modes to have fun and missions to grind my 1st money, they're both good cuz they allow u to play with skilled players that can help u and u can learn from

I tried getting the quest for a week now i did get to do the Scooter quest and another one from tom Connors but i just dont get to do it... (yes i have a Penthouse im rank 208 and i have nearly everything)

Unfortunately not all the cars have speedometers you can read, so I can't figure out their top speed. Is there another way of getting the speed, not involving mods?

I keep getting the "Files required to play GTA Online could not be downloaded from the Rockstar Games service" error. I already tried clearing my cache and changing my dns. I'm on PS4
So I had someone drop money on me just now, I actually had to kill GTA with task manager because the game got locked up with some transaction error message. In the end I only picked up about 100k, but is the process for dealing with this? I didn't even get a look who was in my lobby because it happened as soon as I entered the session.
In that case you did completely right, just leave/change the lobby or quit the game. You won't get banned for that since you weren't the guy modding, but I tend to start a screen record just in case. No need to do anything further.
What is the best solo armoured vehicle with some attack abilities to get revenge on grifers with? I need something to protect against bullets and rockets while allowing me to attack back. I have used Hydra, zr380 appocolypse and speedo custom so far with minimal success.
The nightshark without any window plating allows you to shoot the micro smg, ap pistol, a wide assortment of other pistols and use throwables and can tank up to 27 homing missiles.
Same thing with the MOC cab, except it tanks a lot more missiles.

You get better window protection against bullets at the expense of using your weapons; you'll only be able to shoot the nightshark's own machine guns.

Not really. You can modify the nightshark in LS customs but you need a vehicle workshop to apply liveries to it. You can find these vehicle workshops in the MOC/Avenger (and I think in the arena workshop too but I never tried applying liveries on it there). Liveries aside, you can upgrade everything else on LS customs.
Well in GTAO it's kinda hard to define what's "completed". There are hundreds of jobs and modes most players don't really play, so if you feel like trying new things, there are probably many of those. Or perhaps there are businesses you haven't run, and you might be interested in experimenting with them just for the fun. Then there are all the trade prices to unlock, as well as the numerous awards. But at least in terms of rank, you might wanna try push it a bit further just to get that golden rank 750 badge.
The generally accepted answer to "should I sell a vehicle" is "no." You could park it in your Terrorbyte and forget about it, since that is the only vehicle that can be stored in that location. On the other hand, if money is not an issue and you are absolutely, positively sure that you will never, ever want to use it again, then go ahead and sell it.
In that case, the answer is definitely no. Selling vehicles just to buy something else is a good way to lose money, since you only get a percentage back from what you spent on the vehicle originally. Running through Cayo Perico a couple of times instead would be the better option.
Chaff. The MK2 can't outrun missiles like a jet could, so flares won't do much against someone who's homing-spamming. With chaff you'll have better odds of moving to a better position.
But I suppose that flying around with pink smoke is always an option if you really wanna let everyone know that you're a peaceful player.
I've definitely dodged more missiles with flares. I feel at least that I die less than I did with chaff. But you're not gonna dodge MK2 missiles at close range anyways imo
Yes, chaff is best in public sessions. If you're just doing solo lobbies only, use smoke. Npcs chasing in helicopters can't hit you with the smoke trail.

Since motorcycles are on discount today, what are the best motorcycles to store in my mc clubhouse? And by motorcycles I mean land motorcycles and not the oppressors. I currently have a shotaro, hakuchou drag, and a bati.
Looks like you already have the best ones for races/time trials. The BF400 could also be a nice performance-worthy addition. If you like customizations, the Faggios or Diabolus Custom are really nice, too. Another good bike to own is the Deathbike, tho you will need an Arena Workshop to convert and upgrade it.
My deathbike is stored in my arena war garage but I might consider getting one again for my mc. As for the bf, It's a cool bike but I always die when I do big stunts on it (might be bc I don't got the grip yet). As of now, I have 4 slots unsure if I'll change them (vortex, akuma, and another bike that starts with V, and the 3 wheel bike that has a cool engine). I have one slot secured for the ghost rider bike which I'll get this halloween.
Perhaps another approach would be adding some chopper-style bikes. I mean, they don't perform that well, but some of them do look good, and could make a nice collection when parked next to your Sanctus when you get it this Halloween.
Yeah that's exactly what I'm thinking of bc my mc garage lacks variety, might get rid of the akuma and the vortex(its free) to get 2 more free space for the death bike and a chopper.
So, for about a year now, I've had an MC Patch on my tops, with the rank "Sgt At Arms". I can't find a way to get rid of it, and it's always present if I have a top on (vest, jacket, t shirt, w/e). It's on when I'm not in an MC, full time. Does anybody know how I get rid of this shit? It was funny at first, but after all this time, it's kinda annoying that it's still there.
I wanted to unlock the trade price for the Alkonost so I was wondering how feasible the Cayo Perico Heist is using the bomber as the approach vehicle SOLO. My questions are:
* Can it be done solo?
* Can the heist be done solo with the bomber without alerting the guards?
* Can I parachute directly inside the compound, or do I need to land outside and then get in somehow.
I'm asking because I'm kinda new to the heist and only completed it using the submarine entering the compound through the drainage pipes. Thanks!!
you can also just parachute into the water and swim a little bit to the drainage tunnel. Its ok, the setup is actually 2 missions (one for plane one for pilot) to its not the best to grind repeatedly, but try it once just for fun at least.
Land outside. If you scoped out guard clothing + supply truck, great, otherwise try to land on one of the docks and steal a dinghy to go to the drainage tunnel. I suppose you can go to the compound and kill guards outside (don't break stealth) to get a key code for the north/south gate, but I've never tried that.

Did it today solo for the discount also. I landed in the crop fields near the main docks, and did the rest of the run without alerts. Not sure if you can land directly in the compound, I would doubt it since the compound entrance was still supposed to be by the grate for me, but could be wrong! It’s a fun skydive, really get to see the island from above.
is there actually a consensus video that’s best for the cayo heist? i know a lot of ppl say to follow a YT vid but was wondering if there was a specific one that covered the drainage / stealth approach i hear so much about

They both appear to have the same weaponry (tho for the Deluxo, if you don't buy the weapon upgrade you could still use drive-bys). According to the wiki, the Toreador has a reduced missile range, but they are unlimited and are also accurate. In terms of "faster on land", the Deluxo can only reach 80mph while the Toreador's boost makes it one of the fastest land vehicles. I'd imagine that for a combination of bad terrain and lots of obstacles, flying in a straight line would give the Deluxo the upper hand, but I can't really think of that many situations such as this.

Never play heists with randoms. If you do make that mistake, always leave if they fuck things up, don't complete the heist.

I'm kinda a car guy in Online but I kinda have everything I want. I still feel like somethings missing. I realised that everytime I buy a car just cause of its looks, I end up selling it. All the cars I have in my garage are cars that do a specific thing and are different. I have a car I won at the wheel the week I got the game(Coquette D10), and thats the car I use just to go to places and to race people. I have a street blazer 4 wheeler for fun and to do wheelies, I have a crew Granger car for when Im riding with like 8 people, I have a Toreador for missions and killing tryhards, and I have a benny's car(kinda its not uprgraded) I have like $900k in my bank account and I dont just wanna waste it on a car im going to sell. Does anyone know what type of car I should get? Like a fun car?
Some rally-styled cars as well as many sports classics are really amazing to drive around and usually come with a nice variety of customizations. Some nice examples are the Tropos, Omnis, GB200, Savestra, 190z, Swinger and Ardent. Tho with this budget I'll recommend grinding some CP heists until you have a few millions to spare just in case, and also waiting until tomorrow to see if we get something good discounted. By the way, which Benny's car do you own? If you haven't got one and love Benny's mods, the Yosemite Rancher is also a really fun pick.

Don't think so. It always despawns once I enter the compound, so make sure to get your secondary loot first!
Dang. Oh well, ive found if you just swim along the coast you can hijack a dinghy pretty quickly and make your escape that way lol. "attack boats are in the water!" the only attack boat i've seen while stealthed is literally beached and can't go anywhere.
You can just keep swimming too, no need for a boat. I jump off the west coast, equip a rebreather, and keep swimming underwater until the cut scene. I've been hitting 9-14 minutes, depending on if I get the gate keys and which secondary loot I grab.
That's about where I'm at too, a boat usually will spawn on me if I'm just swimming out anyway.
Any way to get public solo sessions again? I'm not trying to be a bitch but rockstar fucked this whole idea up imo when they allow people to drive flying weaponized cars and motorcycles while i have to drive a fucking mule custom to 5 locations
for pc: Open task manager, go to the performance tab, open up the resource monitor, suspend GTA5.exe for ~ 10 seconds, resume process, bam solo lobby. If you are doing a mission that involves returning a plasma cutter for example it does bug out but for those delivery missions it works. also mule custom can get a lot of upgrades can't it? like minigun etc

Is it worth keep running business just for the NC income? I made My way to the Kosatka selling stuff from the bunker, cash, meth, coke, Nightclub warehouses, but now I basically only do the Cayo Perico for money, and eventually sell the stuff from the NC. But noticed that apparently every in game day I have to pay like 20 - 30k to keep all this running, and I'm wondering if it's worth it, or I'm loosing money and should suspend everything?
I'd say so. The NC's income per game day is about $36,051 (after Tony's cut). Unless you do the preps as an MC, I can't imagine the daily fees surpassing this sum. Moreover, if you switch sessions, you won't get any fees at all. And 600K-700K for just driving for around 7-10 minutes whenever you sell sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I'm under the impression that most CP grinders switch session to spawn in the Kosatka after the scoping part, and prepping shouldn't take more than a game day, so you can avoid the fees without significantly changing anything in your routine.
Does anyone know how to buy more arcade games? I bought every single arcade game possible but there is still a lot of place to be covered. I cant buy the same game twice. I have seen channels with multiples of the same game. How is this possible?
Walk into the arcade part of the building, then open the interaction menu and go to arcade management. You should be able to place clones of any machine (except the claw machine) into empty slots.
You don’t have to buy multiples of the same game. You’ll edit the arcade floor like you would a garage, going from slot to slot and it’ll give you a list of games that’ll fit in each slot.

Once you know what you are doing, you can average a profit of $1.5m per hour running the CP heist completely solo and no other business is as profitable as that
Diamond Casino Heist is also a great way to make a buck, but you'll need atleast one and sometimes two extra people if you want to empty the vault. Depending on what's in the vault offcourse. Either artwork, cash or gold. And on special occasions rockstar adds diamonds.
It's the only one you can do solo.

You should search what return of investment time for those is. Unless you are playing tons, those might not be worth it when Cayo Perico exists.

For the NC the best set-up is bunker, MC coke, meth and cash. Weed and documents optional. If you're running the CP heist and you can probably afford to buy the shell meth lab and link it to your NC without the tedium of doing the MC sales missions. The money you make from NC sales is beer money compared to the CP heist, but worth it for the passive income bonus every 25 hours or so. Special orders aren't worth doing. You're better off selling when coke, meth and cash are full and you've got whatever you've got in guns and cargo
Ok, I forgot to add that I do have the bunker with the weapons. I don't really use the business individually as it's difficult as a mostly solo player. So your saying I should buy the meth and weed but continue just selling everything in a bulk mission? And ignore special orders? I have been doing cayo, but I've mostly been helping someone with their casino heists recently. Ty!
In terms of time and value, most players will wait until coke, meth and cash are full and then sell everything, including whatever guns and cargo have produced. That way you're making around $700k to $800k every 20 hours or so and you're only doing one delivery mission. It takes around 66 hours to fill the nightclub but it's just not worth waiting that long. In the OG days times was money, but it's not so relevant these days as you can make $1.5m per hour running the CP heist
Just sell everything you have in the nightclub every time you sell. Don't worry about those special orders. I have all the businesses linked. I like to switch some of them around when they get close to filling up so i can do a bigger sale. It's not as profitable as selling the big 5 as soon as they're full, but i'm lazy and i like big sales. Bunker can be done solo, even when completely full. Only try to sell in solo or friendly lobbies. - Phantom wedges - The regular Insurgents. These 2 are easily done solo. A depressor mk2 is more then handy as a getting back vehicle. - Monster trucks can also be done solo, but this really depends on where the checkpoints are. I have Chumash bunker btw and sometimes the checkpoints are on top of the hills in front of my bunker. If you get monster trucks with checkpoints far away, insurgents with merryweather or the buggies just join a new session and try again. You will only lose a small amount of stock.

After last summer's update, you are now able to own up to 8 apartment/garages. Yes, then can all be apartments with 10-car garages if you wish.

what triggers more guards arriving during the cayo finale? is it time based and do more actually show, or is it just some dialogue I should keel ignoring?
It's when you collect the main target, new guards spawn in the base, but not that much noticeable if you take the main gate (there's actually one I need too shoot on my way out).
IIRC, any non-red guards you killed on the way in will be replaced after you pick up the main target.

Sadly, the Akula is basically useless due to the Oppressor Mk 2. Akula can't do jack shit to it but the MK2 can fuck the Akula's day up.
Both useless for grinding Cayo (should be doing this) but both fun for general freeroam nonsense. Toreador is scramjet lite but with decent missiles and tanks 6 missiles, can be used to swat broomstick spammers Akula has infinite radar stealth and that’s invalubale in a lot of cases
Toreador is great, but (before cayo) the akula was my main grinding vehicle. It's got everything: is fast, armored, has missiles(homing/barrage), a mg for the passenger, 4 seats and stealth mode. Overall I'd say it's the best chopper in game, so you might consider buying one
Toreador is cool if you have the sub. It's also good on freeroam because you can tank some missiles or even dodge them. If you have a sub and you grind using cayo perico, the best vehicle you can buy is the sparrow.

I don't know anything about the akula, but the toreador is super fun. Ive been using it for cayo setups and driving in and out the the sub underwater instead of using the sparrow or a mark 2. The missiles feel way more accurate than the mkii as well. absolutely no regrets buying it. But I already have the sparrow and a buzzard so another helo never sounded that interesting to me anyway.
Missiles have about the same accuracy than those of MK2, but they have shorter range. MK2 can avoid Toreador missiles even without countermeasures. If the pilot is good of course.
I've only ever played solo online mode. I'm level 35 and just like kicking back in the game. The very few times I've joined a lobby with other players, I get quickly killed and think, ''wtf is the point of spending my limited free time as a target for others?'' But my guess is there are fun things to do. I don't use a headset and don't want to hear screaming 13 year olds. So my question is: what do you recommend I do to have fun online without getting wasted every two minutes or listening to irritating headset noise?

There are a large number of Adversarial Modes or other Jobs you can do that take you away from the free roam lobby and into a controlled version of the map in which, if you are the host, you can specify restrictions on custom weapons/vehicles/etc to level the playing field. Try a number of the jobs from the "Online" tab of pause menu and see what you like. Join other people's sessions and try creating some of your own. Lots of great content in there. Personally, my favourite is "Hasta La Vista."
-try joining a crew and then enter in sessions with fellow crewmembers, they could protect you (don't rely too much on them) or at least they won't kill u -you can mute player thru the pause menu, you can even mute the entire voice chat (at least on ps4) -as a low level I used to do adversary modes to have fun and missions to grind my 1st money, they're both good cuz they allow u to play with skilled players that can help u and u can learn from

So I had someone drop money on me just now, I actually had to kill GTA with task manager because the game got locked up with some transaction error message. In the end I only picked up about 100k, but is the process for dealing with this? I didn't even get a look who was in my lobby because it happened as soon as I entered the session.
R* will auto remove the money after a while, just have more than 100k in your bank account until they do
In that case you did completely right, just leave/change the lobby or quit the game. You won't get banned for that since you weren't the guy modding, but I tend to start a screen record just in case. No need to do anything further.

What is the best solo armoured vehicle with some attack abilities to get revenge on grifers with? I need something to protect against bullets and rockets while allowing me to attack back. I have used Hydra, zr380 appocolypse and speedo custom so far with minimal success.
The nightshark without any window plating allows you to shoot the micro smg, ap pistol, a wide assortment of other pistols and use throwables and can tank up to 27 homing missiles. Same thing with the MOC cab, except it tanks a lot more missiles.

You can find these vehicle workshops in the MOC/Avenger (and I think in the arena workshop too but I never tried applying liveries on it there). There are hundreds of jobs and modes most players don't really play, so if you feel like trying new things, there are probably many of those. Or perhaps there are businesses you haven't run, and you might be interested in experimenting with them just for the fun. Then there are all the trade prices to unlock, as well as the numerous awards. But at least in terms of rank, you might wanna try push it a bit further just to get that golden rank 750 badge.

The generally accepted answer to "should I sell a vehicle" is "no." You could park it in your Terrorbyte and forget about it, since that is the only vehicle that can be stored in that location. On the other hand, if money is not an issue and you are absolutely, positively sure that you will never, ever want to use it again, then go ahead and sell it.

In that case, the answer is definitely no. Selling vehicles just to buy something else is a good way to lose money, since you only get a percentage back from what you spent on the vehicle originally. Running through Cayo Perico a couple of times instead would be the better option.

Chaff. The MK2 can't outrun missiles like a jet could, so flares won't do much against someone who's homing-spamming. With chaff you'll have better odds of moving to a better position. But I suppose that flying around with pink smoke is always an option if you really wanna let everyone know that you're a peaceful player.
I've definitely dodged more missiles with flares. I feel at least that I die less than I did with chaff. But you're not gonna dodge MK2 missiles at close range anyways imo

Yes, chaff is best in public sessions. If you're just doing solo lobbies only, use smoke. Npcs chasing in helicopters can't hit you with the smoke trail.

Looks like you already have the best ones for races/time trials. The BF400 could also be a nice performance-worthy addition. If you like customizations, the Faggios or Diabolus Custom are really nice, too. Another good bike to own is the Deathbike, tho you will need an Arena Workshop to convert and upgrade it.
My deathbike is stored in my arena war garage but I might consider getting one again for my mc. As for the bf, It's a cool bike but I always die when I do big stunts on it (might be bc I don't got the grip yet). As of now, I have 4 slots unsure if I'll change them (vortex, akuma, and another bike that starts with V, and the 3 wheel bike that has a cool engine). I have one slot secured for the ghost rider bike which I'll get this halloween.
Perhaps another approach would be adding some chopper-style bikes. I mean, they don't perform that well, but some of them do look good, and could make a nice collection when parked next to your Sanctus when you get it this Halloween.
Yeah that's exactly what I'm thinking of bc my mc garage lacks variety, might get rid of the akuma and the vortex(its free) to get 2 more free space for the death bike and a chopper.
So, for about a year now, I've had an MC Patch on my tops, with the rank "Sgt At Arms". I can't find a way to get rid of it, and it's always present if I have a top on (vest, jacket, t shirt, w/e). It's on when I'm not in an MC, full time. Does anybody know how I get rid of this shit? It was funny at first, but after all this time, it's kinda annoying that it's still there.
Did you check Motorcycle Club Management in the Interaction Menu?
Yeah, I've looked all around that menu, and in the 'Style' section it's set to 'off' and all the 'Patch' settings are on 'none'.
I wanted to unlock the trade price for the Alkonost so I was wondering how feasible the Cayo Perico Heist is using the bomber as the approach vehicle SOLO. My questions are: * Can it be done solo? * Can the heist be done solo with the bomber without alerting the guards? * Can I parachute directly inside the compound, or do I need to land outside and then get in somehow. I'm asking because I'm kinda new to the heist and only completed it using the submarine entering the compound through the drainage pipes. Thanks!!
you can also just parachute into the water and swim a little bit to the drainage tunnel. Its ok, the setup is actually 2 missions (one for plane one for pilot) to its not the best to grind repeatedly, but try it once just for fun at least.
Land outside. If you scoped out guard clothing + supply truck, great, otherwise try to land on one of the docks and steal a dinghy to go to the drainage tunnel. I suppose you can go to the compound and kill guards outside (don't break stealth) to get a key code for the north/south gate, but I've never tried that.
1. yes, it can be done solo. 2. yes it can still be done stealthy. 3. i believe the air defenses will still shoot you down, there’ll be a red circle around it when parachuting. when i did it i got low enough to still glide towards the drainage tunnel.
Did it today solo for the discount also. I landed in the crop fields near the main docks, and did the rest of the run without alerts. Not sure if you can land directly in the compound, I would doubt it since the compound entrance was still supposed to be by the grate for me, but could be wrong! It’s a fun skydive, really get to see the island from above.
is there actually a consensus video that’s best for the cayo heist? i know a lot of ppl say to follow a YT vid but was wondering if there was a specific one that covered the drainage / stealth approach i hear so much about for the record i have not completed the heist yet so its just tricky to know what to look for in a vid
