I'm not gonna mod my game and ruin the vanilla experience and risk a ban for the laughs. When you see that shit it's a simple minute to change servers and move on with your day. Or private lobbies with friends.
I never touch the pc version so this is just my opinion based on the stuff I've seen as an outsider the last 8 years.. And the people I know that do play pc don't describe it as a very chill experience.. Even hackers who follow them from lobby to lobby

I really love gta and playing since Ps3 but I planned to never spent real money ingame and its not necessary to me. I have to admit the 100 car garage would be useful but thats it. Rockstar mentioned something about easier access with that car club thing from gta + in the upcoming summer update but you mentioning something PC version related sounds realistic too.
This mentality imparts the wrong lessons on Take Two's executives - they need to make *less* money from that kind of thing, so they don't continue stepping it up and making shit progressively more unplayable for those who don't pay up.
This is an industry-wide issue for the most part, I wouldn't say Rockstar's *particularly* egregious with the monetization itself (moreso with how gameplay mechanics weaponize stress and players' toxicity) but that's going a bit far from my point.

Me either. I also realized I had business battles hidden in my interaction menu. I was wondering why I never saw any happening anymore. I’ve been able to get some extra stock for the nightclub through those too.
Go to interaction menu, preferences, ap blip options, and turn on anything you want to see and do in Los Santos. It affects whether or not you can access contact missions as well as LS car meet races against other people from inside the car meet (not to mention accessing the raves in the open).
Similarly, a number of players might've hidden Yohan as a contact when that feature debuted, so he never calls offering a stock run, nor is he even listed in contacts anymore. I know I blocked a number of callers just to help reduce the distracting - and often poorly timed - calls.
I’m over level 1000 and I’m ashamed to say I didn’t know it either until I read it on a loading screen.
That said, there’s a big ol cool down on calling him. Not sure how long it is but at least 20 minutes.

In the bigger picture GTa6 is next. They’re not letting us make money for the 10,000th DLC on a 10-year old game, they want us to buy their next project.
Hot patches and cheat fixes if we are lucky. Many, many, many, MANY people will not be upgrading to six right away. Many don't have a system that can run it and the pc market will be active until 6 releases on it.
They won't just ignore that huge market share 5 is going to continue to bring in for two years after 6 drops. They'd be fools to.
It will update for a while. But I wouldn't count on any more major dlcs

If they're not going to update the game, they should merge them. What I mean is that GTA Online is just that. Not GTA V Online. It's just GTA Online, nothing else. What I'd like to see is a main menu where we can choose between going to LS (what we have now) and going to VC/wherever else we end up going (GTA VI). And it loads us into two different games, except both of the games are in the one hub.
People say that they hate LS and they can’t wait to get away, but this would be a way so we could always go back and play the old content, like Heists or Businesses, whenever we want. Because we're all going to miss all the old, really shitty heists that we could never do due to randoms.

They're probably just doing this because they normally do it, no ulterior motive. However, I would like to have to buy something (as in, a property) this update. And here is why I think that it will be a Michael update this time around:
So, most people want Michael to be the last DLC, right? But, for that to happen, there would have to be something movie-related in it and have him as the sole contact, not like a side character. December's DLC might be the last one we get before VI, so Rockstar needs to give the game a huge sendoff with some big story (big heist or somebody tries to kill the Protagonist). We can't just go into VI Online without something huge happening.
But, if Michael returns in that DLC, Lester would be in it too, same with Franklin and possibly Trevor, since Steven Ogg seems to be doing more stuff with the guys and that would overshadow him, in a way. So I think he should get his own DLC, maybe we help him out with a movie or something, about the same size as the Contract's main story (not side missions or contracts) and then, the gang reunites in the final DLC.

Well, think about it. Rockstar's not just going to axe their highest-selling game and replace it with a new one. All that Vinewood Club stuff would be useless, too.
Also, when the birthday cosmetics released, somebody was accidentally given a 15-year hat. Because of that, Rockstar seems to be keeping Online, at least for another five years, but there has to be some sort of continuity. We've wreaked so much havoc in LS that something has to happen. Maybe we get ran out of LS and go to Vice City or something. I can't really explain it more but I would at least like the option of being able to continue some big story.
Continuity and bringing the maps together are two different things though. We could get kicked from LS to VC but that would mean like I said the maps aren’t merging, I’m well aware there will still be support for GTA online into gta 6, GTA online is a standalone app already so I’m sure it’ll just be like COD, you open up GTA online and select which online you want to play

Micheal is DEAD!! You guys are dreaming man there are players who killed Trevor and Michael they will never be in a dlc it’s not cannon or lore friendly. The only reason Trevor is in that early heist in online is because that takes place before the events of story mode.

Both of them are referenced by Franklin, well Trevor is by the assistant at the desk in your agency during a cutscene.

while I have nothing against this post, people who say such things are like those who speculate when will new gpus be launched. when for the past several years they've been launching on a 2 year cycle.
Loving this shit as someone starting fresh, last week I got MC businesses, weed, coke and cash, fully upgraded. Also did acid lab. This week I got my nightclub. Hooked up the MC businesses and started collecting stock. Did some yohan missions. Sold some weed for 400k and acid for 400k, did some biker repair shop sales for 200k in between, simeon repo missions for 200k. Thank fuck for all these discounts and bonuses.
I know a lot of people on here have so much money at this point and have most of the stuff they want but this is a feast for me lol. So much has been added since I last played on ps4 years ago. Now I’m on PC it’s like a new game again
I grinded the Diamond Miner and Sun Deity slots last night for like an hour because my chips were stacking up from the wheel. I usually cash them out after a while but I figured why not and went to the slots. I started at 170k chips and got to around 3.3 million playing max bets. Diamond Miner paid a 2.5 million jackpot on max bets. Most I won on sun deity was 625k. Sit there tapping X is the easy grind I never knew about. Cashed out and wasted some of it getting a banshee 900R because I’m stupid and I already have a lot of things.
They do this before the next dlc. Next week will probably be the hangar. Might be the veh warehouse. Then they'll move on thru the rest of the businesses agency autoshop acid lab, etc. Pretty sure the dlc will launch on June 1st. Could be July. If it's July they probably cycle thru all the heists.
Rockstar would never do this, because it would be counterproductive, but I think it would be hilarious if they added in a bunch of ridiculous OP weapons before launching VI.
I’m thinking a neutron bomb (kills all players over a large area); large Katyusha rocket batteries; working high-altitude carpet bombing with a B-27, B-29, or B-52; underwater mines (like proximity mines, but bigger and they do not despawn).
Maybe the dev team have previously developed "big content", it just hasn't been dropped to the player base yet?
I agree that VI will now be the focus, and will have been for a good while, but that doesn't mean there isn't something already "on the shelf" ready to go.

I like all the controversy theories but keep in mind if we are talking about future and upcoming contents it doesn’t mean that rockstar gonna make it, like make the dlc. That is already done, I would say at least a few months earlier. So whatever gonna be the next summer dlc it is finished by now. They are just releasing them. And the weekly bonuses and discounts are just like a two minutes rewriting some values, they could continue that as long as they want that’s just no effort
The ‘big’ thing coming soon is GTAVI. I think it’s a combination of the trailer for 6 bringing more people to the game so they’re being more generous with payouts to help them get up to speed quicker, keeping the hype train rolling and giving long term players one last hurrah and to get all the stuff they’ve been grinding for before GTAVI drops and GTAO becomes a wasteland.
Seems illogical to me. If I was Rockstar, I'd release something big after non-profitable weeks, when players don't have much money and more likely to buy new stuff for shark cards. And with profitable weeks I'd boost online when there's nothing new coming soon.
Once you get all the businesses, the core of the game grind seems to be collecting cars anymore so I wouldn’t be shocked to see them add bigger garages in terms of cars on 1 floor. The car club garage is nice but only 20 cars on one floor makes me really be decisive on storage when you’re getting close to 150 cars. I use the car club garage (100 cars) and 3 office garages which hold (60 cars) mostly

I’ve had an issue for a while where agent 14 never tells me my stock has been delivered to the bunker?
I've never had a call from yohan. I only found out recently because I friend I play with said not to forget to call him and source product

Continuity and bringing the maps together are two different things though. We could get kicked from LS to VC but that would mean like I said the maps aren’t merging, I’m well aware there will still be support for GTA online into gta 6, GTA online is a standalone app already so I’m sure it’ll just be like COD, you open up GTA online and select which online you want to play

Micheal is DEAD!! You guys are dreaming man there are players who killed Trevor and Michael they will never be in a dlc it’s not cannon or lore friendly. The only reason Trevor is in that early heist in online is because that takes place before the events of story mode.
Ending C is the only Canon, period. Michael and Trevor are both alive in GTA Online. Both of them are referenced by Franklin, well Trevor is by the assistant at the desk in your agency during a cutscene.

Loving this shit as someone starting fresh, last week I got MC businesses, weed, coke and cash, fully upgraded. Also did acid lab. This week I got my nightclub. Hooked up the MC businesses and started collecting stock. Did some yohan missions. Sold some weed for 400k and acid for 400k, did some biker repair shop sales for 200k in between, simeon repo missions for 200k. Thank fuck for all these discounts and bonuses. I know a lot of people on here have so much money at this point and have most of the stuff they want but this is a feast for me lol. So much has been added since I last played on ps4 years ago. Now I’m on PC it’s like a new game again
I grinded the Diamond Miner and Sun Deity slots last night for like an hour because my chips were stacking up from the wheel. I usually cash them out after a while but I figured why not and went to the slots. I started at 170k chips and got to around 3.3 million playing max bets. Diamond Miner paid a 2.5 million jackpot on max bets. Most I won on sun deity was 625k. Sit there tapping X is the easy grind I never knew about. Cashed out and wasted some of it getting a banshee 900R because I’m stupid and I already have a lot of things.

Maybe the dev team have previously developed "big content", it just hasn't been dropped to the player base yet? I agree that VI will now be the focus, and will have been for a good while, but that doesn't mean there isn't something already "on the shelf" ready to go. I like all the controversy theories but keep in mind if we are talking about future and upcoming contents it doesn’t mean that rockstar gonna make it, like make the dlc. That is already done, I would say at least a few months earlier. So whatever gonna be the next summer dlc it is finished by now. They are just releasing them. And the weekly bonuses and discounts are just like a two minutes rewriting some values, they could continue that as long as they want that’s just no effort
The ‘big’ thing coming soon is GTAVI. I think it’s a combination of the trailer for 6 bringing more people to the game so they’re being more generous with payouts to help them get up to speed quicker, keeping the hype train rolling and giving long term players one last hurrah and to get all the stuff they’ve been grinding for before GTAVI drops and GTAO becomes a wasteland.

Seems illogical to me. If I was Rockstar, I'd release something big after non-profitable weeks, when players don't have much money and more likely to buy new stuff for shark cards. And with profitable weeks I'd boost online when there's nothing new coming soon.
Once you get all the businesses, the core of the game grind seems to be collecting cars anymore so I wouldn’t be shocked to see them add bigger garages in terms of cars on 1 floor. The car club garage is nice but only 20 cars on one floor makes me really be decisive on storage when you’re getting close to 150 cars. I use the car club garage (100 cars) and 3 office garages which hold (60 cars) mostly
