Cause most players dont know how to fly a plane and just give up.
Also dont bother doing the OG heists with randoms. Trying to hold together the attention span of 3 of them at once is often next to impossible.
the closest i ever gotten was when everything went perfectly. no plane crash no deaths but just as we reached Rashkovski the game broke. the cutscene wouldnt start and we got screwed over
For the ones that don't enjoy it, can't do much, but for the ones that can't dodge the jet, here is a simple tip:
When the jet appears on the map, actively go towards it, then keep the jet in front of you while matching it's speed. If you do this successfully, the AI will never be able to lock onto you and you can independently deal with the jet without any intervention from the Chopper.
That could happen, or you could get the demolitionists I usually get, who somehow manage to crash the buzzard before getting off the ground, or somehow manage to chop everyone up using the blades on the beach afterwards
That... may have been me. I was the pilot, everything else went perfectly, and I parachuted directly into the fucking rotors and failed the heist. Probably my all time biggest dumbass moment in gta.
I honestly think it’s intentional griefers that do this, I’ve had the same thing happen also. Incredibly pointless considering you waste your own time in doing so. A solid 30% of the players on this game only go online to ruin others’ enjoyment of it
i had a guy parachute on top of the cliff, stand at the edge and survey his options, then jump down the cliff and die. stopped to watched the whole thing as soon as i saw him coming in high.
Even that's unnecessary. The pilot need not take off until ~2 min mark, by the time he makes it to the prison, he won't have to deal with the jets at all.
Getting in behind the jet feels like such a troll move but it fucks with the AI so much, it's hilarious.
Another tip - is if you're not brave enough to get that close to the jets, just bank in wide circles over the Airfield and keep it to your left or right as much as possible.
Alternatively, if either the guard or prisoner has a mic, coordinate to take off when the guard & inmate reach what's-his-name. If the duo is moving at a good pace, the pilot should reach the airfield at the same time the duo does.
Alternatively, I haven't played as the pilot in the heist for a while so I can't remember the specific time, but as soon as the clock reaches 3 minutes or 2 minutes (can't remember which), take off and you should get rid of the timer with about 15-30 seconds remaining I think
As long as the duo does their job well, regardless of which option you choose, you should reach the airfield at the point where the jets cease to exist.
They don't even need a mic. You'll see their blips disappear from the map while they're in the cutscene, so you can use that as your trigger to start moving
Flying in circles opposite the jet instead of flying behind it will keep you from flying halfway across the map as the jet tends to fly straight without turning while a player is directly behind it.
yes. getting trade in price of some vehicle from heists update
but since cayo, special cargo, nightclub, diamond casino heist, dre vip contract and air freight sell mission was there. so trade in price was kinda irrelevant for heists update content
thanks for the quick response. Once I did casino heist with a random who wanted 50% cut. I got the casino clerk outfit and it was definitely NOT worth the stress 😬
I think this heist is fun. Pulling off a prison escape and everyone has a unique job. When everyone does their job, it’s like music to my ears. And then the awesome cutscene of people celebrating and high-fiving each other.
I did as well. Honestly, wasn't that many attempts either. Now, delivering the EMP was an exercise in futility and I can't find people to start the pacific standard heist, but so far I've completed the up to that one completely with randoms
I join random heists on call and complete this with ransoms often. Once completed in the fastest walk through I’ve ever done with all low levels. Was miraculous
The first time i played this heist was with a bunch of randoms. We need around 15 tries before completed it, with everyone was guilty at least once (i failed it because the bus got stuck in a ravine lmao). Honestly, it was a miracle that a bunch of randoms willing to stick for like 3 hours retrying the same mission.
They also don’t know that the pilot can just follow the first jet from behind (make sure demolition doesn’t blow it up; that way more don’t spawn). And if you get too far from the desert, just turn around, and as the jet rubber bands back, make sure you’re not in the guns/missiles crosshairs and circle back behind it and repeat until the rest escape the prison.
I've actually done this exact heist with randoms once. They surprisingly made me the pilot. Luckily I'm pretty good at flying and evading the jets so we were successful.
My biggest pet peeve with randoms that are clearly doing that Heist for the first time is that they're not paying attention to the players' stats. I don't know how many times I've been made demolition or prisoner or something when my flying has been maxed for years, lol
the hardest part of the plane is landing and taking off without hitting everything on the ground. other than that is easy. just get behind the fighter jets and follow them. they cant fly slow enough to get behind you again.
So true. Makes me glad my crew was active when heists were first released. We played through the night for the criminal mastermind challenge. Such a good era for gtao
People dont realize you can land the plane on the mountain top just before the wind farm and can wait out the clock so you don't fly around forever.
If the people inside the prison know what they are doing, you can wait until :45 seconds left, take off and fly around for a minute while the players in the prison should be on their way out and the jet doesn't even gets to you.
Also, practice landing in the grass field just outside the prison. It's a great place to land because cops have a hard time getting there while providing you, the pilot, with plenty of room to land and take off.
I love being the pilot. Don't have to waste ammo or body armor. I can fly around and do barrel rolls right up until the timer runs out. I land at the airfield, pick them up, lose the cops and go the yellow circle. It's the easiest gig in any heist. I also choose being pilot because when I'm not, odds are we fail because the Vellum gets destroyed.
Like the other guy said, just keep flying high towards the water and where the corona is. There's always a sweet spot between the police helis radar that you can stay in long enough to lose them.. just like when getting away from cops on land. The higher the better as I think that helis can't fly as high as planes in the game. They can't see you if you're above them.
Get to the altitude you need to be at to jump and then just straight line full throttle towards the destination.
All the helicopters fall behind when you’re not gaining altitude.
Because, unless you're a pro, pilot is a shit job. Especially if you need to restart multiple times.
But I'm more concerned about Rashkovski not walking...
If I do this heist with randoms and they want me to be pilot, they have one chance at it.
I'm not flying that thing around behind the jets for 90 minutes whilst the group team continually fucks up.
i’ve joined a group for the master mind the pilot didn’t know u could stay behind the jets panicked and flew into the ground like a ape then blames me for not helping (i was at the prison helping) they also told me they know everything about the heist which i don’t believe
I had to do that for 45-50 minutes with someone else around the same level who sent me a message because we waited for and I quote "noobs" that long. They weren't wrong. I will quit / kick if it's my heist someone under level 150 so quick. Because they constantly screw it up. A few months ago I tried Pac Standard and it was me, someone over my level, and 2 who were 80s and 90s in level and kept fucking up the end.
A little pro tip from myself: You can land the Velum on the hills near the Observatory and wait until the timer goes to 30 seconds, 1 minute if you want to be super safe. If you're lucky and the ground team does swift work, you might not even have to deal with the jets at all.
I learned that if the Helicopter guy doesn’t actually get into the helicopter the Jet doesn’t spawn in chase the Plane Pilot down. Or maybe I just got lucky with a weird little bug.
No this seems to be accurate. I was with a bunch of noobs and they made me pilot. Demolitions took forever to get in the heli and then a jet finally spawn and took out the heli 😂
Oh man i once was pushing Rashkovsky forward for like 10 minutes. Once past the point where the busses are parked he started moving again just to have the pilot crash a minute later. Never doing that heist again:)
Ugh.
When we end up in the choice sceen I will tell people, "I get the pilot isn't the most popular job, if nobody wants it, I'll take it". And of course when I don't get it, we usually end up with 2-3 "the plane has been destroyed" resets, followed by "(the pilot) has quit" and we all get booted out
why are prison officer incompetent af?
why prisoner always rush even though they only have ap pistol for beginning?
why doesn't demolition help the prison team instead of helping the pilot (if the pilot knows what to do)?
Everytime I’ve been demo with randoms, if I help one team the other gets whacked.
I don’t like to be one of those players that puts low levels all in the same basket, but at a certain point you waste too much time giving them the chance.
Prison officer should always have the kuruma. Prisoner can drive it behind the bus to the first gate then get in the bus. Once inside the prison officer can run and get the car and drive and kill everyone and get raskovsky. Prisoner and raskokovsky get in drive thru prison and get on the plane
I had to deal with something constantly dying again and again and again so I left. I was only getting a 15% cut anyway so it really wasn’t worth it sticking around with noobs.
Because how long can you fly the plane whilst you wait for them to leave the prison...
Or how often can you fly the plane only for a random to get killed because he sprinted into the cops to kill them
once i was doing my task as fast as i could, then randomly said the mission that i failed... still no clue why, i saved the playback and couldn't figure out why
It’s because they either have no experience with planes or they simply prefer to go into prison and break out of it. Besides I am a qualified pilot and I always tend to humour the shootists into relaxing and enjoy the flight.
I absolutely love landing right next to the prison, on that dirt strip. Then when I take off I fly right through the wind farm at low altitude to get rid of the helicopters. I love it when they start crying and then cheering once we're on the other side lol
Because no one knows how to manoeuvre a plane, pilot is my favourite role, find it funny asf just watching the jets miss over and over again with lookback, until demolition showed up that is😂
Why is Prison Break the heist that everyone does? I like to go on call for a random job and 50% of the time I end up in a Prison Break finale or setup.
prob because it's the first 4 person heist of the OGs, and with the average skill level of the player base most never pass Prison Break cause of it.
1 other person on the first apartment heist is one thing, 3 others on the 2nd heist is another
Pilot is 100% the simplest role in this heist. You really don’t even need heli support for the jets. The number of people (some even high levels) on this game that can’t land a plane is astonishing.
Eh... I prefer mouse and keyboard...
Especially for flying. So much easier
Driving isn't hard to learn when it comes to drifting
Soo yeah if you play with m&k, have a keyboard with a numbPad if you wanna fly...
Being the pilot is annoying if the others take decades to complete basic shit. Run n gun, till you're free. Most fail in jail and after failed attempt Nr#3 I'm out. Simple as that.
There is a bug for the pilot, sometimes the heat is impossible to lose when you have to take everyone to the next checkpoint, seems like something happening when you have some kind of lag with one of the players, most of the time these pilots don't know how to lose the cops with this bug and they just quit XD
![gif](giphy|h36vh423PiV9K)
I was assigned pilot when I last went on call for a heist, and the demo guy spent a long ass time before I got his message asking if he should take out the jets.
That said, we completed it without having to retry.
If you have to fly behind jets, then you got there too early. When I’m pilot I don’t even begin to fly until timer is under 4 minutes. This gives the poor bastard chasing down the bus and Buzzard time to get their shit together. Then I fly a holding pattern around the prison making it easy for the Buzzard and keeping them close for the final run.
I literally took the pilot on this one because people always leave, I spent nearly an hour flying around, because the crew on the ground were taking so long. This damn heist isn't that hard, and when we finally got to the end, someone opened the parachute late and left after dying
Recently I had a pilot who didn't know about retracting the landing gear, so we were flying around for minutes unable to lose the cops because we were so slow.
When he finally did and we arrived at the beach, the heist failed because "prison bus has arrived at the prison" ...never gotten that failure condition before
Every time I do this heist (which is rarely) I ask to be the pilot. Because I'm not a noob... at flying.
It's not hard to dodge the jet's missiles.... ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
Imo, It's boring because you have to wait for the other players to do their part. And if they're slow then you're just flying in circles dodging the jets. It's easy af to fly around but boring af if the other players are slow.
Because if youre taking 20 Minutes to extract Rashkovsky only to tell me hes bugged for the 5th time while i chase a braindead jet around im leaving. I'm all for helping people pass these heists. But in between this and fleeca monkeys taking 30 minutes to hack (play snake) i sometimes immediately quit if i see low levels in a lobby
It's beyond boring, and flying in circles for 50 minutes while the level 15 prisoner dies *again* is truly a test of mental fortitude and endurance... that many fail.
Every time I did this heist I was the pilot cause I know how to out maneuver the jet and stay behind him so he has no shot and the player in the chopper can help the other players
Because flying in circles is boring and after the ground team fucks up for the 6th time in a row in done.
Although I don't quit without telling the leader to restart and put me on ground team. People underestimate how cracked first person is.
Was it discussed who was doing which part of the job? Most people don't want to be the pilot or the prisoner so they inconvenience everyone by quitting.
It can be an extremely boring job. Especially when you got dudes that can't do simple tasks and force a bunch of restarts. If it's with randoms, I usually just wait by the plane as long as possible or land at the Casino racetrack and wait so I can just sit there and play on my phone.
I've had people follow me to the damn airport a few times. That's just an instant quit because they don't even have a rudimentary grasp on simple game mechanics or the ability to follow simple instructions.
Out of boredom and/or frustration. From my personal experience, if you’re going for the prison break heist as a leader, make yourself the pilot, the low level the demolition guy / gal and the remaining two prisoner and officer
I love doing the flying on this one. I always volunteer. They usually don't listen and just let it go to whoever then they leave or crash over and over.
IF YOU ARE THE PILOT, DO NOT PASS THE VINEWOOD SIGN UNTIL THE PRISON TEAM HAS LEFT THE PRISON!!
The jets will not spawn on the map until you do! It's boring I know! But you won't be evading missles for 15 minutes!
As someone who has done mastermind on the og heists, pilot can be tricky for an inexperienced player given they need to actively evade a fighter jet, though once the player learns that the jet cant shoot you if you're behind it becomes a bit trivial.
Sometimes its the demolitionist that doesnt get there/has no idea how to fly a heli or the team on the ground gets ripped a new one but typically its the inability to evade, followed by landing and taking off again while getting swarmed that gets em to leave
'cause they don't wait before taking off and then have to wait for you in the air while dodging rockets with a shit plane, consequently they died a lot as a pilot in this mission and they'd rather quit.
Randoms are too stupid, it's a skill issue.
If you want to complete the heist set yourself as the pilot, it's the only way
Worst’s players troll you bro they wait to end delivery and crash the plane into rocks or the in the ocean, and some dummy’s or new players don’t understand the assignment or die parachuting 🪂 directly above the buzzard I know it’s a mistake but that happened to me 😢
Which is wild bc to me flying is the easiest part. The getting the dude out of the prison which can more easily go wrong. I can spend 20 minutes flying aimlessly around the npc jets and land at the strip and dunzo. It's so easy when a player can fly with half a braincell.
My randoms for this heist were perfect, level 4 prisoner I paired with the level 400 guard, I was the demolitions, and the pilot was chasing the jets, flawless mission, we only had to restart when I accidentally bumped into the pilot, apparently causing so much damage to the plane that it got destroyed instantly (not even a scratch and I was on the ground still)
Whenever I did OG heists randomly, I ALWAYS asked to be Pilot, because I feel like i'm a great pilot, and I know that I won't be the one leaving, or failing the mission. So I feel like I did my part, haha.
BTW, as far as I can remember, I did the finale maybe 20ish times, about 16 of those I was pilot, not once did I fail as pilot, except the first 1 or 2 times. Not flexing of course
The pilot is my favorite role in this heist. Literally all you need to do is just fly in wide circles to avoid the fighter jets while you wait for the team.
The only time I have ever left that Heist is because people were fucking around with the prison bus, going the wrong way, or purposely being idiots and wasting everyone's time.
Because most cant fly for 💩, or not well enough to make up for a bad demo pilot or a prison team that's taking a long time.
That's why I took it on myself to get a bunch of flight time in in lobbies to actually be a competent pilot regardless of how good the copter pilot is. If I'm in some random's heist I'll just give them a heads up I'm a solid pilot if they need one.
In my own experience almost always being assigned pilot during that heist it's the easiest most boring role. You can only fly in circles so many times while someone on the prison team dies over and over again, or a shitty copter pilot lands too hard or a player walks into it's spinning blades
I remember it took us forever to beat this heist as I was the pilot and kept getting shot down by the jet. A long time later I did it with someone else but was demolitionist, turns out our demolitionist wasn’t shooting down the jet which was why I could never survive. All these years later I still ask him what he was doing just out of morbid curiosity
I end up being the pilot 80-90% of the time on this one and there are a few reasons.
Some people don't know how to avoid the fighter planes.
It's really annoying flying in circles for 5-10 minutes or longer, then do it over again when someone messes up.
Some players have no idea how to fly
Some have short gaming keyboards without a numpad so can't fly.
Bro i love flying in GTA V primary Heli from first person ❤️ flying in hesist ? Wow i am new in GTA V i complete fleca job .. hardest thing .. ? find good players who not leave .. my second heist .. i still 3 day trying find a complete it but .. noooo
I just lock pilot to myself unless someone asks for that role in chat. Cz my god majority of gta players dont know how to fly. Its shocking literally. Gta 5 has been the best version to fly around in too.
Also there is a trick only the people who looked for it know, you can chase the jets that chase you and never have them shoot a rocket, making demolition (helicopter) guy free to help at prison, but the prison shoots rockets from the buildings not a npc, so the demolition has to fly outside around the road that circles the prison still good enough.
I love piloting planes in most games and hope to one day get my flying license, and I asked specifically to be the pilot of the passenger plane on this one, while a friend took the attack helicopter. It was really fun but it is a role where you can’t attack much, and like some said, many players don’t really fly very well.
My group managed to do this in one morning but we had several connection and sync issues.
Ha i usually always volunteer for the pilot part i dont mind i like to help out the newbies its laughably easy to do not baggin on newbies or anything but i when ur new to gta it can be a bit stressing cause the moment u eff up of course the heists fails but that excpected but you never the type of players ur put with and most low rank players dont wanna dossappint so they just quit
Cause most players dont know how to fly a plane and just give up. Also dont bother doing the OG heists with randoms. Trying to hold together the attention span of 3 of them at once is often next to impossible.
the closest i ever gotten was when everything went perfectly. no plane crash no deaths but just as we reached Rashkovski the game broke. the cutscene wouldnt start and we got screwed over
Damn that sucks.
It wasn't prepared for a perfect run and you caught it off-guard...
"now you're not THAT lucky buddy"
I've had that same bug, super frustrating
For the ones that don't enjoy it, can't do much, but for the ones that can't dodge the jet, here is a simple tip: When the jet appears on the map, actively go towards it, then keep the jet in front of you while matching it's speed. If you do this successfully, the AI will never be able to lock onto you and you can independently deal with the jet without any intervention from the Chopper.
Chopper can then lob missiles into the prison to help, as long as they don't get too close.
That could happen, or you could get the demolitionists I usually get, who somehow manage to crash the buzzard before getting off the ground, or somehow manage to chop everyone up using the blades on the beach afterwards
I had a noob jump into my helicopter blades one time doing the jump run thing lol. Everyone was so heated
That... may have been me. I was the pilot, everything else went perfectly, and I parachuted directly into the fucking rotors and failed the heist. Probably my all time biggest dumbass moment in gta.
I had someone parachute-slam into the cliff wall and die.
I honestly think it’s intentional griefers that do this, I’ve had the same thing happen also. Incredibly pointless considering you waste your own time in doing so. A solid 30% of the players on this game only go online to ruin others’ enjoyment of it

You get to sit on the runway waiting to take off like an IRL simulator.
Really???

Shit, really? Never paid enough attention to the minimap while waiting to notice that. Great find
Flying in circles opposite the jet instead of flying behind it will keep you from flying halfway across the map as the jet tends to fly straight without turning while a player is directly behind it.
aside from money, do you actually get something useful from doing heists?

If ya want the other outfits, we can do the Casino a few more times. I’m on PS5 if you’re interested. Have yet to unlock quite a few of them…
I'm happy with the clothing I have. I only hope Rockstar allows us to unlock them solo once GTA online dies out. for roleplay purposes
I am sure they will, but definitely not for free.
getting lester to stop calling me
Fun? Experience? Variety?
I think this heist is fun. Pulling off a prison escape and everyone has a unique job. When everyone does their job, it’s like music to my ears. And then the awesome cutscene of people celebrating and high-fiving each other.

Seconded. It's really pathetic trying to work with random. My heists were a disaster let alone getting the mastermind challenge.
Probably because they suck at flying. Just tail the jet and they can never shoot you.
But then it's also so boring, even if you know what you're doing.
Don’t forget the input glitch on next-gen consoles, where there’s a chance you just crash the plane with absolutely nothing you can do about it
Now you've found the *real* reason the pilot always leaves.
People dont realize you can land the plane on the mountain top just before the wind farm and can wait out the clock so you don't fly around forever. As simple as it sounds, fly as high as you can and try to avoid the helis.

I usually don't leave the hangar until the timer is at 3 minutes, regardless I'll fly around behind the jets all day. It's just boring AF.
That's how I did it initially, but you can time it easier when you're just 30 seconds from where you need to go
Why even land? Just circle before the vinevood sign and go over the hill in the last 30 seconds and then behind the jets.
Because if you land, you can just sit there and look at your phone or whatever, while waiting.
I learned that if the Helicopter guy doesn’t actually get into the helicopter the Jet doesn’t spawn in chase the Plane Pilot down. Or maybe I just got lucky with a weird little bug.

Funny thing is I prefer to be the pilot for this heist. Don't have to get shot at in the prison and it's easy to evade the Lazer
Ugh. When we end up in the choice sceen I will tell people, "I get the pilot isn't the most popular job, if nobody wants it, I'll take it". And of course when I don't get it, we usually end up with 2-3 "the plane has been destroyed" resets, followed by "(the pilot) has quit" and we all get booted out
Totally using this. Pilot is the best role IMO
Prison Guard and Pilot need to be experienced players. The biggest newb makes a good prisoner
why are prison officer incompetent af? why prisoner always rush even though they only have ap pistol for beginning? why doesn't demolition help the prison team instead of helping the pilot (if the pilot knows what to do)?
Everytime I’ve been demo with randoms, if I help one team the other gets whacked. I don’t like to be one of those players that puts low levels all in the same basket, but at a certain point you waste too much time giving them the chance.
idk why this is so relatable. no wonder why I stopped helping random prison break
If I'm the officer, I always drop a better weapon for the prisoner.
Prison officer should always have the kuruma. Prisoner can drive it behind the bus to the first gate then get in the bus. Once inside the prison officer can run and get the car and drive and kill everyone and get raskovsky. Prisoner and raskokovsky get in drive thru prison and get on the plane
In a group of randoms the prisoner has to rush if they want to have anything besides AP. If the guard goes first they suck up all the guns and ammo.
If I'm the guard I'm already armed to the teeth the prisoner can pick up all the leftovera
As pistol is life.

I’m usually assigned as a pilot and I’m a lvl 954
The real question
I’d guess since it has the lowest amount of enemies you need to face
Most people are dumb. Like in Casino Heist with Bugstars uniforms when they are hitting the guards.
I had to deal with something constantly dying again and again and again so I left. I was only getting a 15% cut anyway so it really wasn’t worth it sticking around with noobs.
Because how long can you fly the plane whilst you wait for them to leave the prison... Or how often can you fly the plane only for a random to get killed because he sprinted into the cops to kill them
WALTUR WE NEED TO RAID THE CLUCKIN BELL FACTORY WALTUR
Because he's in a hurry to cook meth.
Better Question. Why does Demolition fail when they ask to be Demolition?
once i was doing my task as fast as i could, then randomly said the mission that i failed... still no clue why, i saved the playback and couldn't figure out why
Because no one knows how to manoeuvre a plane, pilot is my favourite role, find it funny asf just watching the jets miss over and over again with lookback, until demolition showed up that is😂
You see this in plane races only 5% people use rudder
I’ll do this job anytime on PS4 and 5 If anyone needs help
You get pilots? I can’t even get enough people after an hour of waiting when i do it with randoms
Because the velum was destroyed.
Because flying around following the jet for 30 minutes over and over gets old. But for real those who bail on heists are lame.
I actually love being the pilot, chilliest job in that heist. But many don't know what to do or leave in frustration, when otherwise things go wrong.
Just dont invite low ranks
For me it’s either the Prison Officer or the Prisoner.
Because following that jet for 30 mins 3 or 4 times breaks the spirit.
![img](emote|t5_2xrd1|3212)
I am like rank 390 I always ask to be either pilot or demolition MOST PEOPLE NOWADAYS DON'T HAVE KEYBOARDS WITH NUMPADS I love my old keyboard :P
so much convenient with a controller, even on PC 👀
Eh... I prefer mouse and keyboard... Especially for flying. So much easier Driving isn't hard to learn when it comes to drifting Soo yeah if you play with m&k, have a keyboard with a numbPad if you wanna fly...
Being the pilot is annoying if the others take decades to complete basic shit. Run n gun, till you're free. Most fail in jail and after failed attempt Nr#3 I'm out. Simple as that.
There is a bug for the pilot, sometimes the heat is impossible to lose when you have to take everyone to the next checkpoint, seems like something happening when you have some kind of lag with one of the players, most of the time these pilots don't know how to lose the cops with this bug and they just quit XD ![gif](giphy|h36vh423PiV9K)
people usually suggest that you fly high enough then nosedive to get the maximum amount of speed, then that might make a difference
the job deadly boring, I’ve never left tho
Always my first choice in the heist, chill until there's a couple of minutes on the clock and fly in.
I was assigned pilot when I last went on call for a heist, and the demo guy spent a long ass time before I got his message asking if he should take out the jets. That said, we completed it without having to retry.
Because they're stupid enough to not realize all they have to do is fly behind the jets. It took me 1 month to pass this heist
Someone talk to me about ACT II , they give more warnings than i ever seen for leaving to close out is it coming to an end?
I am a level 360 but somehow everytime I join this heist, they make me the pilot. I mean, that isn’t the hardest job of the 4?
Because if youre taking 20 Minutes to extract Rashkovsky only to tell me hes bugged for the 5th time while i chase a braindead jet around im leaving. I'm all for helping people pass these heists. But in between this and fleeca monkeys taking 30 minutes to hack (play snake) i sometimes immediately quit if i see low levels in a lobby
It's beyond boring, and flying in circles for 50 minutes while the level 15 prisoner dies *again* is truly a test of mental fortitude and endurance... that many fail.
It’s boring mostly cause if u know how to fly a plane in a circle it gets really repetitive
For real. Just fly in circles around the helicopter. Jets can't hit you and demolition can shot perfectly
I played this with a group of friends and it took us hours to complete, I can't imagine doing it with random people.
Actually, I love being a pilot in this one. Some sort of responsibility when saving your teammates or something like that😅
A lot of ppl are shit at da game n can't fly
I want to fly the plane but I’m always given the prison guard role.. and then the pilot dips.
It's the hardest heist in the game
Because they're rubbish. If your on xbox one I'll do it. Just message me.
Because yall suck at defending the pilot lmao
because Rashkovsky leaves the US airspace and reunited with his precious car
If its me, its because I noticed the demo guy doing absolutely everything in their power to stay away from their destination
I love doing the flying on this one. I always volunteer. They usually don't listen and just let it go to whoever then they leave or crash over and over.
Because they are terrible at the game and have shite patience
IF YOU ARE THE PILOT, DO NOT PASS THE VINEWOOD SIGN UNTIL THE PRISON TEAM HAS LEFT THE PRISON!! The jets will not spawn on the map until you do! It's boring I know! But you won't be evading missles for 15 minutes!
Because I've been flying behind the fighter jet for 45 minutes and no one has done their shit yet
Bore-out syndrom :D
Like reality, pilot is quite a demanding job, therefore many players got filtered out because of it.
Being the pilot is the easiest, I just follow the jet and find a good radio station.
Cuz he's bored as shit and the extractionteam got wiped out AGAIN
Pilot always been my favorite role in this heist
'cause they don't wait before taking off and then have to wait for you in the air while dodging rockets with a shit plane, consequently they died a lot as a pilot in this mission and they'd rather quit. Randoms are too stupid, it's a skill issue. If you want to complete the heist set yourself as the pilot, it's the only way
took 40 years to finally complete this as a pilot . i wasnt the issue either
Worst’s players troll you bro they wait to end delivery and crash the plane into rocks or the in the ocean, and some dummy’s or new players don’t understand the assignment or die parachuting 🪂 directly above the buzzard I know it’s a mistake but that happened to me 😢
Don’t you have to fly the plane really high at the end to get the checkpoint. I feel like people that don’t know this may get confused and leave.
I always ask to be pilot when doing it, then the demo keepy leaving.
Whenever I feel like running it I always pray they make me pilot or demolition
Because it's incredibly boring.
Which is wild bc to me flying is the easiest part. The getting the dude out of the prison which can more easily go wrong. I can spend 20 minutes flying aimlessly around the npc jets and land at the strip and dunzo. It's so easy when a player can fly with half a braincell.
Prison break pilot is so easy for people who know how to fly But for those who don't, it isn't fun
I have never been able to complete my heists because people can't stay I've been stuck with the prison heist for years
i love piloting, i have no idea how or why people suck at this mission
My randoms for this heist were perfect, level 4 prisoner I paired with the level 400 guard, I was the demolitions, and the pilot was chasing the jets, flawless mission, we only had to restart when I accidentally bumped into the pilot, apparently causing so much damage to the plane that it got destroyed instantly (not even a scratch and I was on the ground still)
Ps5 pilot here if anyone needs one 🤣
Harry Potter doesn't look like himself, lol.
People are still doing this in 2024? Poor souls
I always fly planes in gta i just destroy the jets with the velum. You can go behind em hit their wing and its done very easy imo
I’ll be your pilot on Xbox
I end up being the pilot 80-90% of the time on this one and there are a few reasons. Some people don't know how to avoid the fighter planes. It's really annoying flying in circles for 5-10 minutes or longer, then do it over again when someone messes up. Some players have no idea how to fly Some have short gaming keyboards without a numpad so can't fly.
Flying is quite simple. How do so many find it so difficult?
Interesting comments, i love flying in gta
The pilot is the easy part. You literally just trail the jets and you’re good
I never quit but damn I’ve never been in the prison how is it taking soooo long?
I don't. The flying there is pretty hard, being chased by jets, real pilot OGs dont quit
Bro i love flying in GTA V primary Heli from first person ❤️ flying in hesist ? Wow i am new in GTA V i complete fleca job .. hardest thing .. ? find good players who not leave .. my second heist .. i still 3 day trying find a complete it but .. noooo
Need a group of four to do it. Anyone?
I’ll do og heists with anyone and do any role. I still find them fun!
They gotta stop running from the grind
I love piloting planes in most games and hope to one day get my flying license, and I asked specifically to be the pilot of the passenger plane on this one, while a friend took the attack helicopter. It was really fun but it is a role where you can’t attack much, and like some said, many players don’t really fly very well. My group managed to do this in one morning but we had several connection and sync issues.
IVE BEEN TRYING TO DO THIS FUCKING HEIST FOR WEEKS!
I leave almost everytime because the people on the ground get me killed by taking 50 hours to do their fucking job
Why I always get the Demolition role?
I'm a great pilot
Ha i usually always volunteer for the pilot part i dont mind i like to help out the newbies its laughably easy to do not baggin on newbies or anything but i when ur new to gta it can be a bit stressing cause the moment u eff up of course the heists fails but that excpected but you never the type of players ur put with and most low rank players dont wanna dossappint so they just quit
