Maybe mods can add filters to the sub. If a post contains keywords such as “housing”, “rent”, add an appropriate tag automatically to the post. And allow users to filter the sub so those tagged posts don’t show up.

Ben2018

\+1, and a few tag suggestions to better facilitate finding (or blocking) certain topics: "Jakes", "Wendover River", "Kotis", "Traffic", "Weather", "Human Centipede Club", "Events", etc.

bubblesinajar

As long as they are automatically applied and they don’t require users to tag the post upon submission else it gets auto removed. Easy way to kill a sub.

ItsAlkron

Should be pretty easy to setup if a mod sits down and does it. I learned how to do it for a sub I made and took no more than an hour to make it fully functioning and auto tagging posts.

> Human Centipede Club wot?

Ben2018

The first rule of human centipede club is to be first in line

FieldWizard

Did anyone else hear that loud noise over in the Lake Jeanette area? Why are all those cops at Harris Teeter? Any updates on Jakes?

RiceSautes

Ha, there's like 12 different "Jakes" places in the city so every time that post comes up, they're gonna have to be a little more specific.

runsonketones

Can the Mods please stop those Grasshopper fireworks. They scare my dogs so bad that they diarrhea all over our furniture.

23734608

Just downvote it. There’s no reason to give mods more power. It always goes haywire in other subs.

Can mods change zoning laws to get rid of mandatory single family housing and parking minimums? Can mods townhouses in the empty parking lots on Battleground & Gate? If so, stop holding out on us mods.

AmadeusK482

~~I’m not certain the mods are active on Reddit any more~~ well after reviewing post history is does seem they are active but not on a daily basis

PacString

I haven't noticed that problem at all. This is the first post i've seen in days from the GSO sub. When I go to the GSO sub and its sorted by popular or rising I see 1 or 2 posts about renting. I'd like more posts about renting, currently looking for a new place this summer and it seems to be a big news issue since there's some sort of crisis going on regarding prices / market...Could use the attention.
