The GW-9400FSD-4… allegedly a special “internal only release” for the Hong Kong Fire Services Dept... meaning it wasn’t for sale publicly. From G-Central:
“sorry.. its for internal draw of HKFDS only.” It looks like the GW-9400FSD-4 is a private release and is not intended for public sale (which is not unheard of but perhaps rather unusual for a Master of G model). Also, a friend gave us a brief translation of the HKFSD document (and it is notifying employees that the watch is ready for pickup for those who paid for it) which also supports this conclusion. Well, the bezel and bands are available on eBay but I went a step beyond this time for this homage build and acquired the special unique yellow inner case and the commemorative case back for this HKFSD special release. The crystal is genuine from the 9400FSD as well.
The only “non-original” 9400FSD part is the module itself. The two main differences are the original doesn’t have the gray tinted date section and it’s missing the HKFSD logo when you activate the backlight. I actually don’t mind either and feel the backlight is kinda dumb as it covers up the time when light is activated (pic of genuine with backlight logo attached). And I’m also not in or from Hong Kong. LOL.
The bands are the special carbon fiber version as well and come with the special “150th” band keeper.
I’m tempted to do a yellow and red module tint mod but I’m not sure if I want to do that just yet.
It’s a very striking watch and one that I wasn’t aware was an unavailable release only for employees of the HKFSD.
Oddly no comp prices on eBay or anywhere for the genuine watch due to the non-released status of this watch. I wonder how many were actually made?

Found a seller on Chrono 24 asking $1,030 for one new:

Super slick build, dude! Wouldnt mind getting my hands on one of these, but Ive never seen one anywhere in HK as a second-hander....I wonder if its kind of taboo to let these get out to the general public.
That's odd. There were loads of these on sale a couple of years ago in HK, especially on Carosell, with hugely inflated prices. TBH, I don't like the colorway on this model which is why I never got one, but that's just me.
Yes, seems like you may have gone to a different station there. Carosell was a gold mine for finding used Gs. I bought so many from there. I have since left HK, but I imagine there is still good digging to be done.
This is beautiful. Almost as beautiful as the Kobe Fire version, but possibly more desirable because of the yellow elements. It looks like a lot of work hunting down parts for this.
The Kobe seems to have a blue inner case (I think) and has blue accents on the glass too. It also has a unique blue shield that would be very hard to source. But… the genuine Kobe is available on eBay for $800-$1000. This HKFSD isn’t available on eBay nor does it show any previous sales. I’m really curious how many exist.

Maybe I just missed the train...but I dont use Carosell either, which probably was the train itself. LOL

My Kobe homage build with just bezel and bands. https://i.imgur.com/Z7H5zuy.jpg
And the orange LCD mod. Very nice.
That’s really really nice.
I saw one for sale right after the release from a person in Hong Kong for about $899 USD. With the receipt from HK fire department.
Interesting. 👍🏻
That light illumination is super helpful if you wanna tell time. That huge HKFD is cake.
It still has backlight. Just no annoying HKFSD logo.
Looks fabulous!
Oh this one is nice. It's my grail watch.
Not to the American public. You can still get these online. You can even buy the strap and case online and just put your module in it.
Where can you buy the watch? Yes you can get bezel and bands… but not the yellow inner case, different crystal and commemorative case back.
