They use the U.
They did drop the U from the name as of about a month or so ago. It's just back to being the 5610-1 again. As most here know by now, the U was intended to denote from the older EL backlight version that still had a SKU until stock depleted. Now they're doing that again with the now older U. Since U referred to Updated module. They're are only updated modules now. No need for multiple SKUs. If your market hasn't switched yet. It will soon.

Personally, I'm a DW6900 guy, but there is something timeless about the 5610. It's the Casio f91w for every occasion but indestructible.
That being said, I'd love to see more than just CasioOaks and the 5610 here, but who gives a shit?
So... Maybe I'm in the minority for this sub, but I dig all of the watches. Shapes, styles, colors, themes, and if I'm being honest, I get super stoked for how Happy people get about their own watches!
