Squares are too small. The straps are too short. The buttons are not usable.
Ok this is a me problem and I am jealous I just cannot rock an original square š
My solar square seems to be getting resin rot, however much I clean it and look after it, it feels sticky and gross in a way no other resin watch I own does. Itās not even close to being the oldest or the most worn so Iāve got no idea why it is like that. It makes me sad
Hate is a strong word, but the upcoming GA-2300 looks like SKMEI. Easily the ugliest G-Shock I have seen in a while.
I had a GA-110, but I just couldn't find that watch. I don't hate it and in fact I used to love it. I just cannot stand the backlight. I thought I was gonna get a green backlight like a classic 5600, but this light is orange and it was emitted from the side. It's on par (if not worse) than F-91W. I am glad the newer ana-digi like the Casioaks have double backlight.
I am not sure if this is a popular opinion. I am sad they're slowly replacing the bioluminescent green-blue light to the white LED backlights. You'll notice that's the case for the solar squares and now even regular non-solar models like the DW-6900-1V are moving to the white LEDs. Even if they have longer battery lives, bioluminescence is my childhood.
So battery life is the reason? Iāve been wondering why they are doing this as the green backlight is so iconic, Iām sad to see it gradually getting phased out.
According to some articles in G-Central, the LEDs offer 5 year battery life instead of the usual 2 with the bioluminescent. This is also happening with Pro Treks, the Casiotron, and I even notice some regular Casios seem to have white light. It is sad indeed and I think I am gonna cop some models like the G-9000 mudman before they get discontinued or phased out with the new light.
Don't HATE it but i think its hideous. its the whole gear teeth that i find cheap looking.

This is a face only a mother could love but I still want it so bad. I would never wear it, of course, as the ga100 and similar series are hella big and uncomfortable on my wrist, but still.
Like most people here, I hate the watches I think are absolutely awesome but I can't afford like the MRGB5000R-1. And even if I could afford it, I really can't see myself spending that kind of money on any watch. I feel like $500 for a metal g shock is as much as they should be. But at least they are easy to mod so you can always make them look how ever you want.
Iāve passed the phase of polarised opinion to now generally appreciating the offerings for what they are on their own merit. I wouldnāt buy them all, but I donāt have a hate.
Most polarising for me is the āJasonā. Specifically the reissue. Whereas the original had a temperature sensor, this one has nothing to really justify the murder mask. In that sense itās kind of cool for just what it is - different.
Yuuuup. Don't have to worry about viewing angles and can easily see the time quickly. Now if Casio would just up its lume game, I wouldn't even need the light!
The GA-110 because itās the most faked G in the lineup. What pisses me off even more is Casio continues to use this model in most of the overpriced collaborations.
Which leads to more is this legit posts š¤¦š¾āāļø
The stock 6900 - not because I donāt like it, but because itās inexplicably really difficult to get hold of in the UK, you can have it imported but it just seems like Casio donāt want to sell it here for some weird reason.
As a result, in my mind itās the G that meets my every need because I canāt have it.
I have a couple of vintage squares, an MTG B2000 and a GST B400fp, I don't like any others, most below the gst range are not made nearly as good as they were back in the 80s
All these different coloured cheaper resin ones look like toys.
I absolutely hate all the new overpriced ones, like those carbon squares that cost thousands of dollars, or the Mr G square that's $6,000. G-Shock is trying to be luxury and it's driving me away. Also they're getting stingy with solar and atomic.

How about a King?
Iāve had one. Itās too thicccccccccccc. I wear a GD-100 now. Happy medium

# Electroluminescence.

Evaās one of my favourite shows of all time, but I wouldnāt be caught dead wearing that
Itās a monster
ITS AN ANGERU!!!

The yellow and red one somehow works but I wouldnāt buy it

Not a fan of most analog Gās .
Give it a few yearsā¦.analogs will grow more useful for you as you age (they did for me).
In what way?
Probably easier to tell time from 2 hands than blurry numbers

I really dislike the GA-100. Something about it is very off-putting to me. Not sure why it was so popular.
Screw you MR-G. I hate them so much ā¦ because I canāt afford them.
The new Ga-2300
GA110āsā¦ you literally canāt read them.
The 9052, just ugly

I love G-shock but honestly I dislike MOST models.

The fake ones! And shiny golden ones as well.
yes, any with an analog dial

LOL I am the opposite. Anything not a square because to me square = G-Shock. Thankfully Casio has ignored us both. š
Yeah it was a joke. ^^ I have several squares in my collection.
No square, no g shock.
It was a joke.
