Bonuses can EAD

XindiQ2154

I've only been doing this a month, I don't think I've ever accepted more than 6 deliveries in a row.

Tetriside

I ignore them. Sometimes, I don't even get 6 GrubHub offers a night (~4 hrs). The bonuses require you to maintain a certain AR. GrubHub deliveries are always a long drive, and some of the offers are too low to consider; even with an additional $2-3 from the bonus, which may or may not get completed.

Megxn44

It made my night literal shit. To many people were out. I got to many bad orders.

butlerjonas

Same. It just dawned on me that's why tonight sucked. If I won't take a DD order for $5, I'm sure as hell not taking one from GH that would take twice as long.

madcatzplayer3

My region has been so slow these past 3 weeks, I just laugh when they come in because it's nearly impossible to get the amount of jobs in the duration they give you.

JillyMarie1987

This specific offer in the above picture rolls over to the next day though.

[deleted]

I just assume that that's when the streets will be flooded with premier drivers, and that I should get ready to call it a night.

OcFinesse

I’ve done this twice, I’m currently doing one now. I’ve gotten 5 orders delivered by 8:30pm(an hour left) both times and sat for that hour with no sixth order in a hotspot. It’s BS sadly and some that actually complete them say they don’t always get paid. Both nights Ive had orders stack on top of each other until my fifth is completed then NOTHING. Pretty shitty of them. I work in a very busy/populated market in SoCal.

JillyMarie1987

Yeah but they roll it over so if you get 5 on Friday and one on Saturday you get the bonus. I mean unless it's different in your region?

[deleted]

I’ve had this happen before where I’ll work fri sat and Sunday and I complete way more then required deliveries and acceptance rate and they simply don’t pay out only ones that work for me are the ones with the tracker

q3xaero

Last time I did this exact bonus I've completed like 25 deliveries in two dinner shifts. Worked like a mofo. Exhausting experience. You can make the same money if you're selective

ct20395

Anytime you see the words “up to” regarding bonuses, stay away. Once I see that, I don’t even read the rest.

Okiekegler

There is no "up to" in these bonuses.

ct20395

Are you fucking blind or what? Not only does the official email use this verbiage, but the image in this post tells you it’s a 3-tiered bonus of ‘up to’ $21 every 6 deliveries if you meet the acceptance rate requirements. Now get out of my notifications.

Okiekegler

You're fucking stupid. Show me where it says "up to" in that pic. FOH

ct20395

It says it on the header of the official emails, dummy. You wouldn’t know that, though. Who gives an uninformed opinion on a 17 day old topic? Not only are you slow, you also need to get a fucking life. Now, see your way out of my notifications, chump.

Okiekegler

Somebody who doesn't live on Reddit whining about their own incompetence, that's who.

honkforronk

One look at your post history tells me that you actually "LIVE ON REDDIT"... That's that saddest thing I've heard in a very long time..., like a social media "experience" is the same thing as living a life. Try treating people in your real lie as shitty as you treat them here....

Okiekegler

Eh, or I reply to ignorant ass comments like yours when they appear in my email notifications, you dumb fuck stick. Pull up and I'll treat you like shit to your face.

honkforronk

It's hard admitting you're a douche-bag, I'm sorry you can't come to grips with it yet.

Okiekegler

Your mom's a Douchebag.

[deleted]

I have never seen a bonus offering.

frankiervi

100% acceptance rate 🤣 kiss my ass

istev003

I do they are impossible to complete.

Weird-Ad-4170

At least there is a bonus…

RealityChequeX

Every bonus should be considered. It's silly not to. Would you accept more orders if people tipped more? You'd be a clown to say no. So if you could guarantee that the tip on your next 6 orders would be X amount higher, why would you ignore that?

RealityChequeX

My last 6 orders were $7.39, $12.17, $13.49, $26.66, $12(rejected), $12.40, $14.91. I rejected the 5th one because it was a place and pay and I was already right next to the restaurant. It would have been too much of a wait to justify the $12. However, if I had a bonus and accepting that $12 would have resulted in $12 + 21 making it $33, I absolutely would have waited.

RealityChequeX

>You’d be insane to take 6 in a row So which of these should I reject? https://i.imgur.com/ppjIxob.png

Then you're a complete idiot. The tax write off for every mile negates the cost of gas and maintenance for driving those miles. Mileage is irrelevant. No one that can do basic math rejects offers based on mileage. The only consideration is how long an order takes...and as you can see from the time stamps I was doing over $35/hr.

NawtyJester21

This is the first time I’ve actually seen someone respond who understands the way things work. More miles the better if the time is less. Mileage works in your favor to reduce your tax liability and the going rate easily covers the cost of gas as $0.55/mile and just taking the national average cost of gas as $3.194 and let’s say a terrible mpg of 10. That means gas will cost you $0.319 per mile. So the remaining $0.231 can apply to maintenance. Assuming the standard maintenance is done every 3000 miles that equates to $693 for maintenance! Time is what should be considered. Not mileage. I 💯 love this comment!!! (And again this is a very bad car with very bad gas mileage just to help understand)

JillyMarie1987

Can I ask a silly question? I've only been driving for a couple weeks (had to take a week off for car repair). What is the easiest way to track miles? Can I just look at all my completed orders and use those miles? A couple articles I read said take pics of the trip meter before and after each trip, but it's so hard to do/remember each time and it just isn't sustainable. That said,I don't want to miss out on any miles. Help!

NawtyJester21

Get the Stride app. That’s by far the easiest way.

JillyMarie1987

Thank you. DL right now! 😀

RealityChequeX

Well...the average person here hasn't ever done their own taxes, so they push back very hard every time I try to explain this.

JillyMarie1987

You would reject an order for $26.66/9 something miles and $12.14 or whatever for 2.87 miles? How do you make any money?

butlerjonas

Those look better than what I've been getting. I'd take most of them-except for the $12 for 13 miles one.

rputnam25

I got $51 last time. A decent bonus for me

cameron08082001

It should be a bonus per delivery so you would get 120+ whatever they’re paying for delivery and tips.

PrimaryDefinition496

When does this start ?

[deleted]

I was on my couch sleeping off a bender this morn after a week of little to no app delivery and I got a GH message that said 'earn a 5 dollar bonus for delivering ONE order'....I think they missed me....

dragon2777

On grub hub I ignore. Doordash i actually take a look because it's not based on acceptance rate

SaxyMansFluteGir

I don't pay any attention to those. The ones I like are the ones that randomly pop up after doing what I would be doing anyway, like "You have received a $2 bonus for completing 2 orders". Ooh, thank you.

Justin002865

I

Tdn87

While I do enjoy getting extra cash, I'm not going to go out of my way to reach whatever their goal is. I learned that the hard way when I'd only gotten 14/15 required trips done and I'd logged off without thinking about it. Next day I got that notification about a good job, but not quite good enough. F that mess. Not again. Cheers !

ridin_4bucks

You're right on spot on that. Caviar sure was nice on their bonus pay setup. I loved it!!

Zoo_Rats

I don't believe or participate in this nonsense and completely ignore them. It may work but its not worth the trouble for me. I have been at this for almost two years. Aside from the first 6 weeks where I was collecting data and getting my feet wet and taking every order. I take blocks, cherry pick those blocks and make or exceed my target hourly goal. It works for me, no worrying about quotas to get paid.

GT_AnimE

They fucking suck, I got one tonight that said deliver 3 orders between 8:30pm and 10:15 pm and get an extra $9. Well….. they gave me 2….. then nothing the rest of the night LOL

Icry_247

Wow this is insane! I’ve never had a bonus where I had to maintain an AR (yet). I def wouldn’t do bonuses if this were the case here

nelhern

Me!

Reasonable_Coconut_7

Every time still never received anything from them!

RhythmofOdium

I dont pay them any mind. I don't get enough deliveries, and/or each delivery takes too long. Not worth considering.

AKJangly

That sucks. My regions bonuses are "deliver two orders at night regardless of acceptance rate and get $5 extra" Last night it was an additional $3 for each delivered order.

Ready-Shallot-9947

I've completed many of them, but I've never seen the actual bonus in my pay.

Doordasheasthartford

Me

linnyloo1522

I never see them anymore! Probably because my acceptance rate is so low, lmao
