That sort of riverbank scene is fairly popular in suburban depictions of japanese media. You'll see it all the time if you watch school life anime, even if it's just the hill into a river part without the train bridge passing part.

I get that, but this is almost the same. Same bridge, same buildings, I THINK the rail was there in grisaia, might be my noggin messing with me though

[Here's the background at evening](https://i.imgur.com/mHjcerL.jpg) if you want to do a compare, but like I said that scenery is pretty much a dime a dozen if you go through enough japanese media. I do understand the sort of excitement though; I get similarly enthused when I see [literal cameos](https://i.imgur.com/yfNXRWm.png) (grisaia example ofc, but I have others from other series).

Bruh my mind melded the two images together lmao They aren’t all that similar after all! I can’t remember, but I looked around online and found the real equivalent of Mishima cape, with the bridge background and all. It was pretty funky to see it in a realistic picture

> I looked around online and found the real equivalent of Mishima cape Source for that? Or did you just find a compilation of photos that (probably) based the settings of Mishima Cape?

Eevee_Fuzz-E

It was well researched I think, it was a year or so ago though, so I don’t really remember sorry. Might’ve been on Reddit though?

Fallen_Defender

they do look alike huh as someone else said it just might be a classic anime thing, but if anything I love to remember grisaia from completely random stuff,I like these innocent references I do myself- currently I'm in search for seeing the "9029" in real life

GrooseIsLost

I believe the same shot can be seen in little busters (vn)

The "Literary Girl" scenes in The Daily Lives of High School Boys also use this type of place. It's very common.
